Wonderful patterns on the rocks, and you can walk all along from the port to a nice bar looking out on the sea - but we were there for those patterns of erosion.

Striking beach with dramatic white cliffs and clear, refreshing water. The shore is pebbly, so water shoes help. Busy in early August, with a couple of spots renting sunbeds and umbrellas. A distinctive and memorable place, best enjoyed outside peak season.

Interesting beautiful beach with little black stones. The rock formations lining the whole beach is something extraordinary. Also not crowded at all!! Must visit if being on Santorini!

Amazing view, it looks like you are on another reality. The cliffs are unforgettable. Vulcanic sand beach. Ideal for photoshoot. The only downside is that it was windy and there was horse manure in places.

Very nice beach but think of bringing sea shoes as it’s quite rocky. There is a nudist section at the very end of the beach. Tried nudism for the first time on this beach and I loved it! So freeing and liberating. Everyone just minds their own business and don’t pay attention to you so it’s very comfortable, even if it’s your first time trying naturism. Swimming naked in the sea is kind of a revelation to be honest!

Best beach of santorini. Definitely better than Red beach. Pebbles won't hurt your feet when going in water. Sunsets is amazing and quiet.

Beautiful and unique place on island! Long beach with cool sandstone formations and amazing contrast between the black sand and the rocks. 🤩🤩

In October we walked to Vlichada. You can get a bus. This is where the International Tomato Museum is. There is also a lovely Quayside to stroll around. I believe it to be the spot for surfing too. The sea was pretty choppy that day. The little blue and white Petit Train takes you here too. There's not much there. We went and had a drink in Dimitris. Very pleasant staff. They do traditional Greek music and plate smashing night there too. Worth a pit stop visit.
