Paramount Gallery Hotel

I was here for a business trip for about 3 days to attend the 8th CIIE in Shanghai and the hotel was up to standard for international business travelers.||Room was decent and big with all the amenities available. The hotel provides complimentary bottled water and is very clean. Aircon was a bit noisy in the evening but eventually quieted down.||Hotel breakfast was decent and had Asian and Western varieties. Location-wise the hotel is an easy walk to the Jing An Temple metro which connects you easily to key commercial areas like Nanjing East as well as the Shanghai Exhibition Centre.||Hotel is undergoing renovations as of this post so the entrance is a bit harder to find but easily accessible.||Overall good location and cost given the location and overall service.

Location, location, location! An old-world-style gem nestled in the centre of Jing’an, close to every conceivable shopping and entertainment need. The rooms are very luxurious with large bathrooms and generous floor space in the bedroom. More like a suite than just a bedroom! Breakfast is self-serve but has a good range of western and Chinese staples- fried eggs, bacon, noodles, prawn and vegetable dishes for example, as well as a range of breads and pastries and very smooth coffee! Staff are always welcoming and accommodating. Feels like a vacation just stepping inside the doors of reception again.

The hotel is located at a great location and it is 5-min away from the subway by foot. The area is not too packed unlike The Bund area. There are many shopping malls, restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is also value for money.

My experience in the hotel was superb. I was impressed by the service. Not only did I receive wonderful service from the front desk, but my family and I were greeted and welcomed every day by the helpful staff such as Ricky and Yoyo, to name but a few, in the restaurant.The hotel is located in the heart of the city. i could go anywhere easily. The room was big and clean. I highly recommend those who love to go to Shanghai to stay in this hotel.

Loved staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, being right across the road from the metro entry and next door to the temple and a shopping mall in what appears to be a more upmarket part of Nanjing Road. The breakfast variety was the best we had in our 3 weeks travelling in China with good western and Chinese options. We were given a room upgrade to a great corner room with views from every window. Excellent helpful and professional staff, with a welcome bonus of most staff speaking English.

Good location, lots of food joins close by. Service during breakfast was good. The spread was decent but food was tasty. Service staff during breakfast was attentive and proactive and friendly, always ever ready to assist when required. Rooms are comfortable. Value for money for this location. Will book again in future.

A wonderful hotel with a unique character! The location in Jing'an is awesome. The property has a charming, classic flair that feels a bit old but is super comfortable and full of style. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A great choice for a memorable stay.
