Paranoia Quest Escape the Room

We have done quite a few escape rooms, and decided to try “The Dig”. Great escape room, with several challenging puzzles. We were able to escape in time, but with two people it was challenging. Well designed with great visuals and puzzles. Overall, a great experience and a place to visit for fun and a good time.

First time going to an escape Room and it was top notch! We did “The Dig” quest with Ivan- five stars!

We’ve done more than 75 escape rooms, and this one easily ranks as one of our favorites. The rooms are creative, well-designed, and full of clever details that keep you engaged from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they do, which makes the whole experience even better. We were thrilled to learn they’ve already added two new rooms (which we couldn’t resist and have already completed), and they’re in the process of updating a couple more, so we’re already excited to come back. Whether it’s your very first escape room or your 50th, this place is a must-visit.

We absolutely love coming to this escape room! All of the rooms are totally immersive and very cleverly designed. The game masters are hilarious and always willing to help (Moxie is great! We’ve had her as a game master 2x now). We brought our whole family for my birthday and celebrated our anniversary here. Highly recommended, and definitely will be coming back for the Zodiac experience soon!

We LOVE Paranoia Quest!!!! So immersive and awesome puzzles! Love the commitment from the staff! They are so fun and personable! Hailey was our game master and was absolutely incredible! And they made it extra special for me and my girlfriend for our anniversary. 😁 thank you guys!!!

My fiancé and I had such a good time at Paranoia Quest! All the rooms were filled with awesome brain teasers and puzzles. Also, our guide Hailey was fantastic. She was very helpful and made our experience lots of fun. We can’t wait to go back with all our friends. 🖤

Paranoia Quest is an escape room at the Mall of Georgia and is part of a chain with AxeMaster Throwing Sugar Hill and Spin Art Atlanta. I have been to multiple different escape rooms and have been wanting to come here for a while now. This escape room is a bit on the pricier side and does not offer Groupons like most other chains. What you pay for is easily evident upon entering the room and worth the experience! I went with a group of 10 people and we had to make a reservation a few days in advance, but they do accept walk ins if there are available bookings. Kent was our host and debriefed us on the background of our escape room, The Dig, and provided us instructions and helped us in the room with any hints when needed. Kent was an amazing host and definitely improved the experience! All the workers here seemed to be very in character and genuinely enjoyed working here. Without spoiling much, the escape room is a multi-level establishment meaning there will be multiple rooms attached and a fun surprise after each clue! We were able to complete the room within 45 minutes while our room was one of the easier themes. The hosts and the escape room experience was one of the best I've been to and will most likely come back here again in the future!

Oh my goodness. If you're looking for a fun activity to do in or around Atlanta, I suggest this escape room. We did the one based on the classroom, but there were more rooms and the people in them seemed to really enjoy the other ones! It was the correct amount of challenging while also not being too frustrating. I love brain games so this was a treat for me! I'll definitely be going back!

First time. So much fun. Had a fantastic time with friends. Even though we did not solve the puzzles to escape we had a blast. Clean & the props, layout, & rooms were so interesting & fun. Everyone should try this.

Our group of three completed the Wonderland room - the room was beautifully themed, and the game master was in character the whole time. Puzzles were moderate difficulty, and they were free with hints. That's personally not my favorite, but I know some people really appreciate that! Overall had a good time and will likely return due to the high design quality and overall energy of the experience!

We completed the "Dig" room and we had so much fun!!!! For starters, the room is beginner friendly. We have 50% beginners and 50% returning. It was super fun to work our way through this puzzle we made it out with 3 mins to spare and 2 unused clues out of 5! Our game master Kenneth was such a great host from the time we arrived to the time we left. He definitely made us feel good about our accomplishment and we look forward to seeing him again soon(: I'll definitely be recommend this activity for a while!!!

We've done plenty of escape. This is the first time we did t enjoy the experience. Zombie Hour didn't have an finally when we finished. Also...we had gm make a phone call to get clues, and the game master was just a normal person speaking, no enthusiasm or anything. The puzzles were not hard, but the instructions to do the puzzles were NOT Clear, and can be open to interpretation a lot of times. You basically have to know exactly what to do, or you can do it. Props did not work sometimes.

Didn't have a reservation and I didn't know you could make one because I visited from NJ, so we had to wait just a little while before an employee could set us up with a room. Once we were set up for the detention room, Nicholas was very friendly and animated. You could tell he and his coworker were constantly running around and trying their best to tend to everyone, but it didn't hinder either of their energy or kindness levels. It was my first escape room experience and I loved it. My only recommendation is if you think you'll need clues, maybe try to get them in the first half of your allotted time because the phone lines do get jammed otherwise I'm sure the rooms are totally solvable without any clues. Also, it's quite clever how they disguise the clues so don't get discouraged, sometimes the answer is right in front of your face! I would definitely go back again if I visit Dacula, GA.

It was really fun and challenging. Great puzzles without being too obtuse. The host was very enthusiastic with our group even though we were the last group of the night. Would try again!

Escape room itself was decent. Took my family and everyone enjoyed themselves. The guy who checked us in and gave us directions for the room should be checked. He finished his intro with a rant about how he had to promote his business. He said he has worked famous athletes and politicians and has the secret to healthcare that doctors and the government were trying to keep from the public. He also went on to say that he's been shut out from Twitter, Facebook, and all other social media platforms because he was telling the "truth". I didn't bring my family to hear his conspiracy theories. Totally set the wrong mood for us before we started the escape room.

Didn't escape the zombie hour room. Clues when you called in for help didn't help much at all.

Amazingly good experience at this escape room facility. Can't wait to go back! Very professional and well organized. We loved it!

We did both rooms and they were both so fun! We did one room with a group of strangers and it turned out to be so nice and exciting and energetic

Went to Paranoia Quest Escape Room with 6 family members and escaped from Jail! It was a blast - the staff was great and we had a lot of fun. A great way to spend an hour with friends!!!

My kids wanted to try it out, so I joined. Little did we all know how interactive, thrilling, and exciting this was going to be! Price was such a great host, he made my kids feel confident and that was priceless to me. HIGHLY Recommend.

My family and I had an amazing time at Paranoia Quest! It was so much fun escaping from Wonderland! Our game master, Jonathan was so funny and really made our experience so much better. He also really played up to the Mad Hatter character. He was the highlight of our time and made us laugh a whole bunch. We had a great time and will definitely come back for many more adventures!

Scheduled a birthday party at noon. Weeks in advance. Arrived at the facility at 11:40 to find the door locked and the lights off. Several other families were waiting along with another party outside all wondering where the staff was. Finally at exactly noon someone showed up frantically hurrying up to the door. After several apologies he stated that our rooms weren't ready and it would be just a moment. Thirty seven minutes later we finally were able to start our party that was scheduled at noon. Very frustrating knowing this was a timed event and we would have parents arriving to pick up their children not expecting them to be running almost 40 minutes behind. What is most frustrating is the hours on the door state 10am - they were already two hours late! Novel idea and concept and once started was entertaining. However having 10 people wait 40 extra minutes because of their running late is unacceptable. Two stars for not being open posted hours and running behind. Bad customer experience.

Kenneth and TJ were great. I didn't expect them to get into character before taking us into the rooms so that was an initial surprise. I had 13 in my group and called ahead to get the VIP pick (no one else with us) and room selections. We split in half and did 2 room and then switched. I also asked if I could use their "conference" room. It doubles as a seasonal escape room but since nothing particular was in the room at this point they brought in a table and chairs and I used it for a meeting space in between the fun. Did Fix Time and the Zombie experience. Some of the steps were definitely not apparent, especially in the Zombie room. I agree with some that said the rooms were pretty well put together and elaborate. The level of detail was really surprising. We all had a wonderful time and this place is highly recommended!

This was my third escape room. We did the zombie one. It was pretty good, but not the best. However the rooms were the most elaborate and interesting I've ever seen. There was a lot of time and effort involved in the props and design. Where this escape room lacked was in the puzzles. Most of the room was just about searching rather than solving. There were a few decent puzzles but they were pretty quick solves. It was a little disappointing considering this was the hardest room. One of the puzzles was literally a puzzle. It was still a great time and I would still recommend it, especially to those less into riddles and brain teasers. However, as some who is SUUUPER into riddles and brain teasers I would probably try another one next time. I have done one that was the opposite: basically no effort into the theme design but great puzzles, and I would say I prefer that.

Came from out of town to visit family and we always love conquering escape rooms together. We chose the Zombie room. The rooms design was very good and the difficulty level was pretty accurate but only for the reason that several of the puzzles didn't work in the room. If we didn't call for clues to figure out that these things were malfunctioning, we wouldn't have gotten out. I will say the employee helping us was nice but he was the only one there running several rooms. It was just not as organized as we have experienced at other rooms. Also not super clean environment, kinda messy looking.

It was my annual team offsite, and I was hoping to shake things up a bit. We booked the jail break room at Paranoia Quest in Buford (at Mall of Georgia). Upon arrival, we were greeted by both Russell and the manager. Russell was our guide for the breakout and he was excellent!!! After the breakout, both Russell and the manager facilitated our debrief and it was obvious that they are both passionate about helping teams thrive! They provided great feedback (both positive and constructive). Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and will return. FYI: the jail break room was really tough, but we loved it!

This was really a lot of fun. Did the archaeological dig with Dr Borris and what a blast.

Did three rooms here during the last winter holidays. Had a great time. The props used here are very very advanced compared to other places I've been. Loss a star because the first visit, we had a delay in entry because the previous group was late. Just bad timing that I had another appointment after this room. The shopkeeper was there by himself so he was very busy resetting rooms and taking exit pics. We never got our photo emailed to us. Also, there was one part of the prison room that was stupid. We had to take a hint. Couldn't have solved it with out better lighting.

Definitely recommend this place. We went to the one at Mall of Georgia. Our group had so much fun working together to get out. We did the prison escape challenge. Highly recommend for groups or families. You are forced to work together and plenty of laughs to go around as you tackle each clue as a group. You won't regret experiencing this place, well worth the money.

This place is great! The staff is SO fun and does a great job introducing the rooms. We went for a company event and had a big group that split up into 5 rooms. "The Dig" was voted the most favorite & fun! Highly recommend this place for a fun activity or for team building. We also tried wonderland, jail break, and operation bravo. All were very fun! Operation Bravo is a TINY room so I don't recommend taking a group larger than 5 adults

The challenge was awesome! Why my 2 stars - the staff as well as the live sparking wires in the room were unsatisfactory. Let's start with the staff- the female that gave the intro/welcome I guess we can call it was very difficult to understand. We were sitting on the benches and she was speaking to us around the computer terminals. So it was difficult to hear her and I'm sure that's what made it difficult to understand her. Plus a comment was made about another group that was about to finish their hour. She said -"I know y'all will do better than them." I didn't think that was called for. I get friendly competition but not from the staff and the detriment of another group. I wonder what they say about all the customers?! Inside the room, there were two live wires that sparked and smoked. Fire hazard people! Major fire hazard. We enjoyed the challenge and glad that we were able to complete it within the hour.

I took my team for a little fun night out and we had a blast. The staff was great to work with and it was challenging but extremely fun. We were fortune it that we did complete our escape with 5 minutes to spare. I highly recommend Paranoia Quest and the Escape Plan Room.

We did the Escape Plan one, it was challenging with two people but a whole lot of fun. Our guides Ken and TJ were incredibly helpful and fun. They made the experience worthwhile. We will be returning.

My group had a lot of fun at this Escape Game Center. The puzzles and rooms were well done compared to the others I have visited. We did "The Dig" and "Prison Break" and we're successful at escaping both rooms. This location had at least 6 or 7 different games to choose from, all ranging from different levels of difficulty. They also give you an unlimited amount of clues to use, which is nice as most others only usually give you 3, which can be frustrating. The rooms we did were well designed and straight forward. We actually escaped the Dig room without using any clues with just 3 people. They have a virtual escape game at this location as well, but it didn't look as fun as the actual rooms. Be sure to check out Groupon if you plan on visiting this location, as they sometimes have fantastic deals to choose from!

My friends and I had never been to an escape room, but we had the best time! We did the zombie room and it was set up perfectly. A little spooky with music and sound effects going on in the background. The room was challenging but still encouraging. Even though we didn't make it out we felt pretty accomplished for how far we did make it. We will definitely be back with more friends soon to try a different room!!

Very unimpressed. We were greeted politely by our game master (where the one star was earned) who introduced the room to us in character then took us into our room. We weren't told how to get clues if we needed them... forgot to give us the phone to call for clues.... didn't realize this until we needed our next clue. We tried for awhile to get the game masters attention -one of our team members finally went out to the front desk to get help. Room wasn't set up correctly, other clues missing or not working correctly... when we got out of the room, another employee was overheard laughing about how he/she had forgotten to put something in another one of the rooms. So basically you're paying to go to an escape room that isn't executed correctly and the employees are nice but do not take their job seriously at all.

The Groupon VIP deal for virtual reality is a scam. The deal bought is not what you get. You buy a vip for a party of 4, and 2 people are supposed to get VR headsets. However there is only ONE headset to offer FOUR people. The VR location is nothing to get excited about and does not have a room of its own, but is in the middle of the main room/lobby area with a small barrier around it. The purpose of this once you see it and understand that you will only get one headset, is to upsell you on the regular escape room themes which cost between $25 and $45 pp. But we already paid for the vip groupon! Bait and switch. Kenneth was very nice and helpful and I wish I could give him 5 stars just for his time and kindness. I regret that he has to explain this groupon scam to those that bought it.

This is a wonderful escape room facility with quality rooms that have fun themes. Thank you for a fantastic game, we will be back.

This place was awesome. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed by the front desk, and you instantly become immersed in the experience as your guide comes out in costume to greet you and bring you to your room. Dr. Borris was our guide and was funny and very helpful when we got "stuck" and needed some clues. The attention to detail in the room we were in was awesome, as were the little surprises along the way (I don't want to give any of them away). I will definitely come back and try the other rooms! Plus the new location is extremely convenient!

I've been here three times with my girlfriend. We like to do the rooms by ourselves. The Dig, Alice in Wonderland, and Zombie are doable for two experienced with escape rooms. Our host was TJ, he works extremely hard and has made all of our trips memorable. He dresses up and really gets into the story. I'm excited to try the other rooms next time!

The room was not prepared for us. There was one employee working all rooms. He wouldn't pick up the phone when we called for clues. When he did pick up, his directions were more confusing than helpful. My friends who paid with their cards got charged twice. I wouldn't go back there again nor recommend it to my friends.

This was a first for me. Our company had a sales outing here along with staff from various functions at our office. This was by far a great team building event. It was very, very fun. The two staff members were very helpful but I lost their business card to recognize them on this review. Sorry.

We had a surprise for my daughters 13th birthday at Paranoia Quest. The girls did the Escape Room and had a blast. Kenneth was our host and he was excellent. Thanks for making my daughters 13th birthday the best! Highly recommend!

Really fun! There are a lot of cool features to these rooms! The scenery and props have some really unique interactions and the staff has a lot of fun working with the customers. One of the only rooms I've been to where your room guide greets you in full costume and character.

This place is brilliant. We went for the first time last weekend and can't wait to go back. Russell was our guide and made it a really enjoyable experience. He put up with our slightly inebriated group and went along with our silliness. The rooms are better then any other place I have been. Totally interactive and immersive. Will be going back soon!!!!

This was my first experience with an escape room of any sort. I have a leadership team of 10 people and wanted to do a team building exercise. I thought an escape room would be a fun, yet effective option. Our reservation was for Friday night, July 6th at 7:30 in the Escape Plan room. My disappointing experience began when I called to book the reservation. The person I spoke with on the phone was rude and sarcastic. When I asked if our group could reserve an entire room, he sarcastically commented, "What, are you scared to meet new people or something?" I should have walked away then. Instead, I booked online. Once we arrived, our initial impression was good. The girl who led our group was energetic and professional. She connected quickly with our group. However, once in the room (Escape Plan) our group experienced quite a few technical difficulties. The green escape button was not properly working, which led to us wasting time and standing around wondering what we were doing wrong. One of the passcode key pads was not receiving the correct code that we were entering (we confirmed this during one of our hint phone calls). The fuse box on the wall also was not doing what it was supposed to do. We found that even though our team was doing everything that we were supposed to be doing, the malfunctions we constantly stopping us and slowing us down. At one point, one of the employees even had to come into the room to check or reset something. This really took away from the "escape" experience. Overall, my team laughed and had some fun, but I must say that I was very disappointed in the overall experience. I spent $400 for this "team building experience" and it honestly seemed like there were mistakes and malfunctions at every turn. I love the idea of escape rooms, but it was clear to me that Paranoia Quest in Buford was not prepared. I do not recommend that anyone waste there money here.

Had a great time with my daughter and her friend! The room we did exceeded expectations. TJ specifically did a great job-he went above and beyond.

My boyfriend and I are just visiting town but thought it would be fun to try something new. The people working, TJ and James, were very friendly and helpful. TJ especially made the experience fun and memorable. I'm really pleased with the experience. I felt safe and had lots of fun! I really recommend trying it out!

Went for my daughters 14th birthday party and they had a blast! They let me watch on the screens and I had great fun watching them scramble. They are still talking about it!

Disappointed. We signed up for an Escape Room that was not available online but they called me and changed us to Wonderland. The call and service was good. Cool theme but many of the clues didnt work until we called them and they activated things. There was even a math problem written on the wall that was finally given to our team but was flat incorrect. Finally it was over $40 each for my daughter and I. Let down.

Our family had a great experience today in the Operation Bravo escape room. It was intriguing and entertaining. Justin did a great job of sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm to make it a successful, fun time! We would highly recommend it. We escaped which made it even better!

A big thanks to TJ for making our sons birthday a blast! He definitely went above and beyond to be animated and get the boys excited about this adventure! He was also EXTREMELY patient with them given they all tried to talk over him and ask silly questions like 12 year old boys do. We did Operation Bravo which was recommended as an easier room for younger kids. Overall it was a great experience and the room was like a movie set. We will definitely come back again. Thanks for the fun experience and great birthday memories TJ!!

This place is awesome! 11 year old daughter had her birthday party here. Girls all had a blast! Rooms look like movie sets with special effects and everything. Employees are awesome. What a great experience!
