Couldn’t ask for a better room or a more central location! The bed was huge and comfortable and the bathroom was so clean. The AC was perfect. It was also really nice to walk outside and be right in the middle of the Sunday market! Stayed for 6 nights and would happily stay here again.

Stayed in the family room. Location is excellent, near to many shops and restaurants. Staffs were very helpful & friendly. Room is big for 5 pax. No lift for this hotel. Room is clean and comfortable. Overall, value for money.

Excellent location, wonderful staff, spotless cleaning every day. Could do with an armchair in the room, but everything else A+. Good bar and restaurant on ground floor, a 7/11 2 minutes away, and the whole neighborhood lights up with might market every Sunday evening for a mile in every direction. Some rooms have a window, some do not. Still, excellent options if you're on a right budget, and you plan to spend your time outdoors anyway, but come back to a super comfortable room with excellent bathroom/shower, comfo beds, Internet and 500-channel TV. I booked well in advance, and got a great deal for a month's stay. And I have to mention, they accept FedEx deliveries, and I had to receive super-important documents from overseas while I stayed there. Professional staff. I recommend this hotel. 👌

Lifts: NO LIFTS Prices: Reasonable Price Location: Great Located Center of Old City and walking distance to attraction. Some temples are just Next Door. Sunday market is just in front of Hotel. Rooms: Clean. Bathroom Amenities: Only have Shower Gel, Towel big small provided, others such as toothbrush toothpaste shower cap to bring yourself. Noise: If sensitive in sleep, not recommend as it’s located in corner of road so car or cycle noise throughout the night.

We loved our stay here - great location, good restaurants nearby and simple, no-fuss check in. We started our Mae Hong Soon loop road trip from here and ended it here as well. Really good base to explore Chiang Mai and nearby attractions.

Very Old property, good for solo travelers not for a family. No Lift nor breakfast available. Basic facilities.....good if you just come back to sleep without spending time in the room or hotel.

Parasol Inn is conveniently located in Old Town Chiang Mai, making it an excellent choice for travelers. It is close to a variety of establishments, including restaurants, convenience stores, spas, and temples. The location is ideal for exploring the area’s cultural and leisure offerings. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel does not have an elevator, so guests will need to carry their belongings up the stairs. On the bright side, there’s a good restaurant on the ground floor that offers a 10% discount to Parasol Inn guests, which adds value to the stay. One downside to my experience was the hotel's poor response time to my inquiry. I accidentally left my medicine behind after checking out and reached out to them immediately via message and call. Unfortunately, it took them an entire day to respond, which was quite frustrating. While I understand it was my oversight, a quicker response would have been greatly appreciated, especially in an emergency situation. Overall, while the location and amenities were excellent, the delayed communication was a significant drawback that could be improved for a better guest experience.

My wife and I traveled on 5/10, during the Chiangmai floods. Thanks to the help of my old hotel, I was able to book a room here, which was almost unaffected by the floods. The location and price are unbeatable, right in the heart of the Sunday Market. I recommend you not to miss the Sunday Night Market because it is a great market selling local Chiangmai products at reasonable prices. The hotel is also equipped with many convenient things such as a washing machine on the 4th floor, a microwave, a TV and a sink in the common area for guests to use. The room is large and comfortable, including a fridge and hairdryer in the room. The only downside is that there is no elevator, but this is common with hotels in this area. ||The owner is a very kind person, he speaks very good English and helped us a lot. Because my leg was injured, he asked the staff to help me carry all my luggage up to the room. On the day of my return, he helped me book a big car to the airport at a good price, although it was not easy at that time. While sitting in the car to the airport, I still felt lucky to be here when Chiangmai was in trouble. ||We write this review as a thank you and will definitely choose to stay at Parasol Hotel when coming to Chiangmai. Thank you for helping and treating us so kindly. I highly recommend you to try this hotel, you will feel very worthy and comfortable throughout the journey.
