Parc Broekhuizen

I reserved a surprise Dream Packet for my husband’s birthday in early August. We had to postpone our trip from the US to The Netherlands but we were able to rebook for our Anniversary later in August. So happy we did!|We enjoyed a wonderful lunch in Bistro Lof - (loved the upgrades and setting). After lunch we walked the beautiful property which along with the house has a lot of history.|Friendly staff checked us in and we loved our room with a gorgeous view.|The absolute highlight was dinner in Voltaire. Julian Schweigl, the restaurant manager, guided us through our dinner with spectacular wines. Please enjoy some pictures we took. If you have something to celebrate, you can’t go wrong planning it at Parc Broekhuizen.

Beautiful estate in a lovely setting, surrounded by a lake and forests. It mixes old times with modernity in such a tactful way. Loved our panorama suite and sitting in the terrace overlooking the lake and the long walks around the property was super relaxing. Shoutout to Emma at reception who was ever helpful and attentive since the time of the booking up until the last minute of our stay. Highly recommended!

Great views and quiet time of the year, properly trained services. Amazing surroundings. If you want to feel living in the woods, this is one of the elegant way to enjoy the Dutch forest.

The wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We felt really cared for at a very stressful time in our lives. No request was too much. The setting is beautiful with great parklands for a morning run. The breakfast was generous and delicious and we loved sitting outside. The bed and shower were super comfortable, we had amazing views from our suite and the shower products smell wonderful. We had lunch and dinner at Bistro Lof which we really enjoyed. We would have loved to have tried restaurant Voltaire but unfortunately it was closed on the days we were there (Sunday-Tuesday). So we’ll definitely come back to stay and dine at Voltaire!

I stayed one night in Parc Broekhuizen for a weekend getaway during partial lockdown. The staff was very helpful and kind and very well understood my dietary requirements. The place is amazing where you can just explore by walking the full land and take a coffee from Bistro Lof while walking. For evening, chef of Restaurant Voltaire made amazing dishes and due to lockdown everything gracefully brought to your room. Every dish was perfect. In the morning, they offer an amazing delicious brunch. Rooms have nice decoration and don’t leave the Parc Broekhuizen without seeing art in Carriage House and amazingly decorated common rooms of the main building (Parc Broekhuizen).

You cannot fault a stay in Parc Broekhuizen!! We stayed for 6 nights in July 23 and had 3 dinners on site.||The rooms are luxurious and spacious, the food is outstanding in both the Michelin star restaurant Voltaire and Bistro Lof. Breakfast is a personalised feast! The hotel and restaurants are in a beautiful park with a huge pond, which allows for a relaxing walk before and after meals. Leersum is uniquely located at an hours distance from Amsterdam or the Hague; Utrecht, Arnhem and Nijmegen can be reached in maximum 30 minutes. In just over an hour you drive to Noordwijk's beaches. Nature is all around you and the national park De Hoge Veluwe is 40 minutes away.||But what really makes a stay at Parc Broekhuizen a pleasure is the constant smile and helpful attitude of the personnel.||We will definitely be coming back for more!!

Unusually Luxurious! I can’t give a better explanation than that. When you arrive you see the sheer wealth coming your way. Our room was fantastic, super clean. We’ve spent some days at this unusual resort and one thing stands out. Everything you see, you taste, you hear, you experience ….. I have never experienced it before. Class of its own!

The area is beautiful in itself. Lots of forest. Unfortunately the hike trails around the Park were closed because of strong wind damage. We compensated by renting bikes from the Park and got to see the surroundings. The service was very good. From the 3 meals we had (a 7 course dinner, lunch and breakfast), our favourite was the lunch at the Bistro and breakfast.
