A Review of The Hoxton, Poblenou in Barcelona, Spain
"A contemporary pocket park featuring sculptures and art installations, offering a peaceful spot to relax or take a short break from exploring the neighborhood."
Very nice spot to relax, can be super hot in the summer with all the concrete, but it’s quite shady.

A peaceful retreat in Poblenou – the park where locals breathe, stroll, and dream.

The Parc del centre de Poblenou is a wonderful place to spend a nice afternoon. The place is surrounded by vine-covered walls and hedges, with cute peekaboo windows and majestic iron gates. The park is split into different sections, and you can find several amenities within each part. It has an outdoor playground, tree arches, pathways, and much more.

The park was designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel and opened in spring 2008. The perimeter wall outside the park is covered with Mediterranean plants and a Gaudiesque gate leads inside. The main meeting place, the Plaça de la Sardana, is located in the centre of the park, surrounded by huts where kids can play. The park combining different habitats where you can relax in the metal chairs in the shade of lush, near colourful plants and trees.

Really cool and unique park and place nearby hotel Melia Barcelona Sky, kids like not usual playgrounds that are located all over the different park areas and they like to explore park a lot. Come here for unusual experience and check the pics to how the park looks like before you come here.

It is a very peculiar park. It is divided in several spaces by roads for car traffic, and each area has a different character.
There is also a Museum, MUHBA Oliva Artés.

Many playgrounds for younger and older kids, benches, people go running or for a stroll with their dogs. Loads of shade. Interesting and nice.

Small sectional of the main park worth going to if you happen to be in the area, however, not necessary to make a specific trip to the area. Very beautiful to look at.
