Parc du Cinquantenaire is one of Brussels’ most beautiful and expansive green spaces, offering a perfect balance of history, relaxation, and scenic charm. The moment you enter, the park’s vastness becomes immediately apparent. Wide lawns stretch out in every direction, framed by elegant pathways and impressive architecture. The iconic triumphal arch at the center adds a majestic backdrop to nearly every view, making even a casual stroll feel special. This park is particularly enchanting at sunset. As the sun dips behind the monument, the sky fills with warm colors that reflect across the open lawns, creating a tranquil and almost cinematic atmosphere. Whether you’re seated on a bench or wandering along the tree-lined paths, it’s an experience that feels both peaceful and inspiring. Parc du Cinquantenaire is also ideal for walks, whether you prefer a slow-paced meander or a more energetic route. There’s plenty of space to explore, making it easy to find your own quiet corner even on busy days. Families, joggers, picnickers, and travelers all blend into the relaxed rhythm of the park. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination in Brussels—beautiful, vast, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind or enjoy a stunning sunset.

I didn’t even know Belgian independence was a thing until I wandered into Jubelpark. So, congrats Belgium, I guess! I’m not the biggest fan of Brussels, but its parks really carry the city. Jubelpark’s great for jogging, walking, or pretending you’re having a classy European moment while eating a sandwich on a bench. The architecture? Majestic. The atmosphere? Peaceful. The maintenance? Let’s just say… in progress. The park’s got these mysterious Brussels Dirt Mounds™, part of an ongoing installation called “Maintenance Coming Soon.” For the seat of the EU, you’d expect pristine lawns, but here even the dirt feels historic. Still, despite the grime and bureaucracy, it’s hard not to enjoy the place. Find a clean bench, breathe in that “grand but slightly unkept” charm, and you’ll see why people keep coming back.

We visited in April, and although it was quite cold, the park was still beautiful and relaxing. The vibrant gardens and expansive green spaces make it a perfect place to unwind, take a leisurely stroll, or simply sit and enjoy the atmosphere. With so much to see you could easily spend several hours exploring. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be in warmer weather when the gardens are in full bloom and outdoor activities are at their best. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic escape in the heart of Brussels. 🌿🌸☀️

Huge beautiful park in Brussels built to celebrate Belgium's independence. Every year fireworks happen here on Belgium independence day. The park has a huge arch, giant fountain and huge open space. The benches in park need to be replaced as they are very old. There are many museums surrounding the park most popular being the Autocar museum. A very nice place to walk around, explore and take some cool pics.

It was a 30 minute walk from Hotel Le Louise Maison. I can honestly say it was worth every step.. The beauty of the park and the monuments situated throughout the gardens are a inspiration to our predecessors

Google
Marvelous park, the gate is very similar to the Brandenburg gate in Berlin, and the buildings are beautiful. The park is very cozy and can be used as a place for gatherings and picnics. There's also a museum in the premises which at the time had few visitors, but was full of interesting art and artifacts

This vast complex featuring magnificent architecture, a charming garden and lush green trees create an atmosphere that is both peaceful and majestic. Built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Belgium’s independence, the park includes several highlights: the Triumphal Arch, a variety of museums (the Army Museum, the Art & History Museum, and Autoworld car museum), the Great Mosque of Brussels, numerous statues and historic monuments. It's s one of the city’s most popular spots for strolling, picnicking, exercising, and enjoying urban leisure activities. Visiting this beautiful park is highly recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Majestic and Full of Life Parc du Cinquantenaire is one of the most beautiful and versatile parks I’ve ever visited. Whether you’re strolling through its tree-lined paths, admiring the stunning architecture and art, jogging, or using the outdoor exercise machines, there’s something for everyone. It’s perfect for walking your pets or letting kids run around and burn off energy. The atmosphere is peaceful, the nature is gorgeous, and the entire space feels welcoming and well-maintained. A truly amazing experience—highly recommended!

Yelp
Parc du Cinquantenaire is one if the most beautiful parks I have ever seen in my entire life. The grass seemed greener here, the people seemed happier, and it was such a beautiful afternoon when we walked through it I truly don't think I could have had a better afternoon in this beautiful city. When got dropped off at the corner of the property and headed towards the large archway with the flag of the European Union blowing in the wind for some pictures. Parc du Cinquantenaire is home to multiple museums as well including Autoworld, Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History, and Art & History museum. This park is a special place. As someone who lives in a city like Las Vegas that doesn't really have a place like this to come to, it makes me extremely jealous. The people here seemed so happy to just be hanging out with friends and family with such beauty surrounding them it truly made me appreciate that just for a brief time, I was able to join them. If you find yourself reading this or come across this review when deciding if you should come to Parc du Cinquantenaire, just go and see the beauty for yourself.

Yelp
We took a nice stroll around the large park. Park of the Fiftieth Anniversary was created in 1880. It was planned to celebrate the half-century since Belgian Independence in 1830. The main focal point is the Cinquantenaire Arcade. The monument faces Brussels' city centre.

Yelp
A wonderful park that isn't that far away from where we currently live. Good views of Brussels from the slight hill that it sits upon. The arch is a great focal point. If you want to get your bearings look for the arch. The museums attached I've not visited. Lack of interest in cars keeps me away from one. Overly knowledgeable about the war already keeps me away from the other. There is a third museum there but I've forgotten what it is. The park itself is a great place to exercise, it's clean and safe. No one has tried to hassle this brick shit house with the face reminiscent of a Bulldog chewing a wasp. It's also hosts a lot of festivals and musical concerts that don't demand the larger parks. Given how convenient it is for any to get there, it's a great choice. Yep I've visited this park more than any other in the city.

Yelp
This park is much larger than the other parks that I visited, and one of the cool things about it is that there is a fairy tale castle in the middle (or rather off to one side). The park itself is huge, and on the eastern edge there is basically this huge building that houses I believe three museums - much like the Infirmary in Paris, though where the Infirmary is dedicated to the army, this place is a lot more random in its offerings, including Autoworld. However, being late we didn't get the opportunity to look inside and we simply spend out time wandering around and exploring the park, which was pretty impessive in and of itself - especially the fairy tale tower and the huge arch at the far end.

Yelp
This definitely is my favorite park in Brussels. It didn't take long for me to fall for this place. First of all, It is the biggest park inside the city centre, beside the size, there are also couple very cool museums around, such as Museé Royal De L'Armée Et D'Histoire Militaire, Jubelparkmuseum and Autoworld. Arc de Triomphe gate also is here, pretty cool gate, reminded me a bit the Brandenburg gate in Berlin. the easy way to get here is take the metro, you can get off at the station Schauman or Merode. Like I mentioned before, the park itself it is quite big, prefect place for a walk, get some fresh air and just chill. this is a very beautiful park, clean and organized. It surely a great place to escape from the busy city for a short time. It's also great place make some awesome pictures since the Arc de Triomphe is here. What a great park!

Yelp
If you're lucky enough to catch some sunlight while in Brussels, you must rush to the nearest metro and go to Merode to stop at parc du cinquantenaire. Not only is it breathtakingly beautiful, but it also hosts "garden parties" in which they lay out chairs and fluffy pillows for people to lie on while a DJ plays some soothing house music. If there is no "garden party" ongoing, you can still marvel at nature's beauty and the last remaining arches from the Roman empire.

Yelp
I absolutely love the Parc du Cinquantenaire. On sunny days and especially during summer there are plenty of fun activities that take place there like free yoga classes, salsa classes, music festivals and so on. It's always nice to have a little bit of green in Brussels and you feel completely emerged in nature. The architecture is beautiful and you can visit the museums. There are waffle sellers in winter and ice cream sellers in summer. If you have a dog there are special areas where your furry friend can play with his pals. It's super safe even in the middle of the night although you might encounter some drunk but harmless students. Definitively my favorite place in Brussels!

Yelp
It's a large park with plenty of green space to lounge around on a hot summer day. It's big enough to escape away from the city noises if you find the right spot.

Yelp
Parc du Cinquantenaire or Jubelpark (depending on whether you're French or Dutch) is a lovely park in the European Quarter in Brussels. If you're a tourist in Brussels, seeing the centerpiece triumphal arch and walking around enjoying the park can be a nice stop. The park houses the Royal Military Museum, the AutoWorld Museum, and the Cinquantenaire Art Museum. Even if you don't visit the museums, walking around to see the Art Museum dome, enjoy the landscaping, and take photos of the triumphal arch is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. You can get to the park easily from the Schuman or Mérode metro stations.

Yelp
Huge park located a bit away from the city center welcomes you with it's huge Arc de Triomphe. The park is very, pretty and well kept. The perfect retreat from the tourist crowds and very relaxing.

Yelp
Best park in Brussels. Throughout the year week month day hour minute second. Elegant serene at times majestic. Museums nearby. Could spend an entire day in this park just doing nothing.

Yelp
The park calls to you with massive arc de Triumph type arches and greened military statues on top. This arch is the main attraction and can be seen from all sides. It's pleasant enough with structured pristine lawns and old trees on the outside. You can find two great museums near the arches, the automobile and military. I tried the military on a Wednesday when it was free and it was well worth the effort. The collection is vast and well curated.
