Parc Hotel Am See

This was our third or fourth time at Parc Hotel – and surly not our last. This time we booked late, hence we could not chose our room, however we a nice room in the new section of the hotel. We really like wooden floors when staying in a hotel.||||We are repeaters for several reasons and I'd share with you a few amenities: Parc Hotel is just next to the lake, the garden, the friendliness of all employees, the food, and amenities (spa, gym, etc.). Furthermore, the region is fantastic for other activities e.g. walking, hiking, bicycling, etc..||||Parc Hotel's culinary concept is to serve two meals per day i.e. breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of different bread, fruits, meat, cereals etc.. The Dinner concept offers a rich buffet plus different 3-4 starters and 3-4 different main courses (meat, fish, vegetarian), in addition to dessert. The food is generally fantastic both in taste and presentation. The waiters are all very accommodation and nice however to name everyone would be too much in this context. Nonetheless I'd like to mention two a) Gottfried – thanks for your wine guidance and b) Wolfgang – thanks for your outstanding service and advice. Wolfgang did a little wine search on our behalf in his free time – wow I hope that your managers demonstrate appreciation and gives you recognition!!||||Lastly, a small critic - albeit on a very high level. The quality of the food served is equal high as it has been in the previous visits however I have the feeling that the exclusivity of the food offering has lessened compared to our previous stays. Furthermore, I noticed that often the side ingredients (dinner) were the same or similar regardless of type of main course. Latter is OK as some economy of scale is always needed. I'd like to restate that this is critics on a high level however it must be said, as the culinary experience for many repeaters is a significant decision factor.

This family is actively involved in the management of their hotel, and therefore, everything is excellent 👌 The lake with the paddle boats are such fun. You can also rent an e-bike. You can gym, windsurf, swim, use the spa area, etc. Go and spoil yourself.

We spent our 2nd family summer holiday in this hotel & it was great... again! Spacious room with view on the lake, exquisite food & superb regional wines. On top of that a lake nearly at swimming pool temperature and an overall customer friendly atmosphere.

A good hotel is not only qualified by it's services, but by it's guests. ||At Parkhotel, everything matches on top level. Decent, polite and educated guests: no towel reservations in the mornings, no pic-nic collectors on breakfast buffet. There is enough of everything in top quality. ||We will come back.

It's a really nice hotel. The 4 stars are well deserved. Another great thing is the location of the hotel. Since there is a wonderful walkway around the entire lake, which the hotel lies just next too. As you can tell by the amount od people jogging and walking there, it's also well liked by the locals.

Nice location, beautiful garden many facilities and direct to lake.||The suites are big and located to lake side||Welcome drink and full service at day check in||Restaurant is rather old fashioned with fixed seat location and it needs a stay of many days before the good seats come free. Also very warm when seated inside||Also dining does not give the feeling that the staff really cares about the service; rather production driven

Stopped here for lunch. ||Beautiful hotel grounds, delicious food and great service by the restaurant staff. However the owner was incredibly curt both on greeting us and later whilst we were waiting for our meal and looking at the views - so much so that it tainted our experience and I would never consider going back.

we were staying in the "Royal room" wich is spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a lot to offer, see the positive comments from the other guests. The wellness offering is very good indeed. A strong recommendation...
