A group of us went for Christmas afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious. No rush to leave the table, super service from friendly staff and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Three fresh finger sandwiches, a warm sausage roll, leek quiche, Christmas cake slice, a beautiful Italian meringue, chocolate dessert, chocolate and mint brownie and a single chocolate - too much to eat in one go but doggy bags were provided. A delightful experience in beautiful grounds.

An incredible 2 night stay at this stunning guest house- I couldn’t recommend this beautiful place enough. |We absolutely could have stayed longer and came away wishing we could have. We were so relaxed during our stay and it just felt like a wonderful escape from everyday reality. |Wonderful grounds, lovely grand decor, spotlessly clean, very attentive, helpful and friendly staff and really gorgeous food. |We rated the roast dinner we had here the best one we have ever eaten, alongside the best homemade bread we have ever eaten too! |We stayed in room 10 and it was quiet, peaceful and a great nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. |A hidden gem, exceptionally close to the beautiful coastlines of the Gower and surrounding areas.

Beautiful hotel maintained to a high standard. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, from perfect pies to homemade ice creams and jams. The Welsh breakfast is a must! The grounds are delightful - we enjoyed around the surrounding woodland, with historic caves and an ancient burial ground. Very near lots of other beautiful spots like Three Cliffs and Oxwich. Highly recommended!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at this beautiful hotel. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is peaceful, tranquil and instantly relaxing. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and quiet. The decor in the hotel is beautiful - lots of charm, character and ambience. Delicious food, both at breakfast and dinner. We will definitely be back.

Unexpectedly wonderful! From the moment you enter the hotel through the forest path, it feels like stepping into the world of 'The Wizard of Oz'. Driving into the estate reveals a spacious, standalone manor house with a sense of history, yet the interior has been meticulously renovated, not at all old-fashioned. After checking in, I experienced my first welcome drink in the UK, a delightful English milk tea, which completely erased the fatigue of driving. The next day's breakfast was a highlight, with both the environment and the dishes being top-notch, including a traditional Welsh breakfast. The hotel is less than a half-hour drive from the most beautiful Rhosili Beach, making it perfect for staying overnight after watching the sunset. The next morning, you can easily drive to the starting point of the Three Cliffs Bay trail, just a five-minute drive from the hotel. 😊

As a very elderly couple, we were delighted with our bedroom being on the ground floor, just a short hop, skip and jump away from the public rooms! The room was big and comfortable, with a view of the grounds. For us, a second chair for sitting would have been nice, as would have been a hand-rail in the large walk-in shower.

Incredibly beautiful, tranquil and welcoming. My partner and I felt relaxed and looked after in this very special hotel. We were fortunate to meet the owner who was such an interesting and kind man who has cared for his family home in a way that guests can share in it. |The grounds are large, beautifully kept and so well situated for amazing coastal walks. |Can’t wait to return.

Had the loveliest afternoon tea with a small group of friends. I had to change the details of the booking a few times on the phone, staff were always really patient, friendly and helpful and returned calls when I had left a message. The food and service on the day were impeccable and in the most beautiful surroundings. I particularly want to mention the quality of the vegan tea, I’ve had some awful experiences around the country, this was an absolute delight. I’ll be going back and I highly recommend it to others. Thank you so much to all the staff for such a great experience on a friend’s birthday!

I stayed here with friends for two nights last Easter and had the most wonderful time! We approached the house (which is a former 19th century hunting lodge) via a long drive with fields and woods on either side. In the afternoon sunshine it really looked truly enchanting. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Olive Edwards, who brought us tea and shortbread to enjoy on the terrace (lovely). The guest house is 4* and has been renovated by Mr & Mrs Edwards. The bed rooms which are immaculate, are comfortable rather than luxurious. The lounge was large and welcoming, with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was superb and served in a large, sunny dinning room. We were able to walk from the hotel through the fields to Three Cliffs Bay- my favourite beach ever! The hotel is also a pony trekking centre and if we had been staying longer I would have signed up to go trekking. We had a wonderfully relaxing two night stay, and I can't wait to go back again!
