Parc Montsouris

Very beautiful park with a small lake. Several playgrounds for little kids. A nice restaurant and a stand for coffee and snacks. Nice walking paths with many trees, well maintained grass for picnic. 2 public toilets and several fountains available for drinking water. Perfect place for families with children

I hadn’t been back to Parc Montsouris since 1982 when I was training for the 1982 Paris Marathon, my very first. It’s about 3/4’s of a mile or 1.2 km along the periphery. There’s a couple of restaurants, kiosks, etc. Great place for a leisurely stroll.

Such a great park. Lots of benches, grass, and room to spread out. I also loved being able to buy an ice cream in the park.

A very beautiful parc with old trees, perfect for a stroll. Unfortunately it is very frustrating that they apply nonsensical rules to the visitors like : foldable furniture to sit down in the grass areas comfortably is not allowed. Meaning that older people who cannot sit on the ground are segregated. 🤔

It is a nice park. Compared to parc luxemburg it is much better

This is a really nice park where you can bring your dog on a leash. It's a pity they don't allow dogs off leash here during specific times in a specific area as it really is enormous. This is ideal for people with children as there is heaps of play areas. Lots of little cafes as well. Good also if you are a trail runner and looking for some smaller challenging runs in the city

Yay for Parc Montsouris! And recently oh so beautiful under the snow. Running paths are all over the place, the park is well kept. Dogs allowed (but not on the grass and always leashed....unless you break the rules ;).....) Its a great spot for a summer picnic.

This free park and garden is a beautiful escape from the ravages of the City of Lights. Paris, like NYC in the states to me, will captivate you. It will also wear you out and beat you senseless and emotionless. Come to Montsouris for relief. Take a stroll. Take a jog. Watch a rugby or soccer team work out. Read a book on a bench. Sunbathe. It is worth the time to decompress in this sanctuary in the city.

Parc Montsouris is so beautiful. I was a lucky gal at CU once, and spent time there nearly every day. The running paths are so nice and convenient. The landscape offers acres of lounging and recreational space. And, it is one of the best places to sketch in the 14th. Also, it is right next to RER B.

I have eaten many lunches in this park and I must say, its really quite nice. If your in the area, I recommend checking it out.
