"Day Trip to the Orchard Visitors coming to Montreal in the fall should expect two things: incredibly colorful foliage and an abundance of apples. Although Montreal is a big city, nature is never far away. Indeed, the Mont Saint-Bruno National Park is just a half-hour ride from the island, and it offers plenty to do on a sunny day—like hiking, cycling, and apple picking. The orchard is not only incredibly beautiful to wander in, but it also has a nice on-site coffee shop, with a dessert menu offering all things apple. Open late August to mid-October."

Went for a winter hike there. Absolutely amazing, loved the trail and very much enjoyed the lovely snow sparkles. If you are a hiker, be aware that trails in different provinces of Canada have different way of directing the hikers and the signs are different. For a winter hiking you need an extra layer than whatever you wear on a winter hike in Ontario as Quebec weather is different.

Very nice natural park not far from the big city. We did the Lake trail (Blue; Sentier des Lacs), which is a nice and easy walk. I won't call it a "Moderate" hike as they state in the park's trail guide, unless you consider the ~8.8KM trail very long. The trail is very wide, in perfect shape and is shaded for most of its length. The view of the lakes is great and we saw quite a lot of wildlife. On the other hand only few bugs were spotted. Bikes are forbidden along most of the trail, and dogs at some. A great trail to do with small children in order to introduce them to hiking. Please bare in mind that this is a very busy park, especially over the weekend. Daily access is 9.85CAD for an adult and it is highly recommended to purchase it in advance.

Nice park with many hiking trails. They have all the difficulties listed out (four trails are "easy" and one is "intermediate". Terrain is fairly flat and you can go around two lakes.

This park has a lot of activities, We went for canoe for 10dollar each person , need to walk through a nice forest to the lake around 35 min. was very nice . We could not do the board today because it quite cloudy . Though for the board is 20$ / person . We didn’t prepare water suite today . Sometime in summer has many event such as yoga on the board on the lake , garden , teaching class for champions, looking shooting star at night . Very nice here It would be worth to come and get annual card for entrance . Because for each visit it around 10 $ you can follow what happening on their page !

It's a beautiful park ,fall colors are amazing.Got scary a bit because it was dark already and we're still near the lake looking for the way to parking lot 🥲,no light post on the trail. But it was a nice walk.

Located just about 30 minutes from Montreal, this park is a true gem. The entrance fee is $9.55 per adult, and you can easily purchase it at the entrance. I highly recommend the hike around the lake (tour du lac) which takes around 2 hours covering about 9 km, but there are shorter trails too. The views are breathtaking, especially during the fall season, with serene lakes. It's pet and stroller-friendly, so you'll spot many dogs on leashes. Tip: Ask for a Map at the entrance because the trail. An get confusing. Bring snacks and drinks, and get there early as it can get quite busy.

Nice trails with beautiful historical homes to view along the way and the lake was scenic indeed. No elevation- pretty flat! Wide enough to have bikers, walkers, runners, and dogs. Parking is available for everyone. Before the lake, it is a good idea to take parallel route with asphalt road, which is next to the welcome centre. So relieved when you walk on the colourful leaves! 🍂🍁

I took those photos last Saturday. The reason I like it is not far from downtown, and the trees and lakes are so green and quiet. There is a pity that many beautiful sceneries are occupied by private houses.
