Just wow! Took the pups on this trail for the first time and loved every second of it. We did the large red rabbit trail (approx 5.5 kilometres) and it was a great mix of terrain, from paved paths to padded down dirt trails. I recommend starting to the left (into the woods) and finishing by the water. Very clean, well marked and dog friendly.

This is for the hiking part. Big easy parking lot. Very nice and clean bathroom areas. Well marked trails. Very easy trail to walk. Not long.

Our favourite place to walk around winter or summer. We went a few times during the weekend. little bit of snow falling and nice temperature makes it even better Visit Cap Saint-Jacques, it is worth visiting. Huge selection to do all kinds of activities with your family!

Nice and calm park with a beautiful view of Saint Laurence river. Some trails available for a walk and also picnic area to spend the day. Parking is paid $8 for 2 hours or $10 for the day

Not a bad place for a walk, parking is paid though. Probably not the place if you want a solid day of hiking, more a close by place for a picnic and some beach time.

A small beach. Great hiking trails. An interesting farm with live animals. A thrill for children Clean washrooms (at least the one near the farm) picnic tables both around the beach and the river shore near the farm. A nice area to spend the day with a picnic. Parking is $7 for 2 hrs or $9 for the day. The ticket is good for both parking lots

I quite like this Park, it is tucked away in Pierrefonds, and it was a bit of a journey to get there from East Montreal, but worth it. There is a small, quaint beach, and trails that are easy to follow and walk on around the beach and surrounding area. There was hardly anyone there, which makes it very attractive. The building with a cafe was closed, but very cool to see such a beautiful old structure close to the beach. It's a gem in the far reaches of Montreal west.

Beautiful area with pristine trails and beaches, a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and wash your stress away to the sound of the susurration of the canopy and the songs of the local birds.

Yelp
Sigh I love this park so much, for so many reasons. The beach here can get crowded in the summer, but the whole space is worth exploring. I've actually helped to throw a gorgeous wedding here in the heritage buildings a number of years ago, it was challenging but so memorable and I'd highly recommend it if you're willing to do the work and deal with the constraints of the space (when they reopen). But winter here is my favourite. We love to come here cross-country skiing as a family, being on these huge trails and wild edges of the island. It's always breezy here in the summer, even hot days are soothing, the waves are wild and you just feel a release from the heaviness of the city. All the more appreciated during these crazy times.

Yelp
This park has parking right across the street. It's beautiful all year long. I discover that it's not only beautiful in the summer to take a walk and relax by the water but a place to enjoy pain! Yes this park has some great Obstacles (adults only!). I've been training my first year for spartan races and discovered a lot of groups use this park for some serious workouts. They take place all season long! Yes u will find us in short mid winter. Get ur tack shoes on and go try it out.. please make sure you don't try the the obstacles alone.. they can be dangerous.

Yelp
I visited this park a few times before, mostly as part of the Israeli independence day picnic which we got together with friends for barbecue and Israeli games. Today we came here for the beach. Apparently, this is a very popular spot, or maybe its the 35C day that forced people to search for ways they can cool their body. I was a little annoyed I had to pay an entrance fee ( 5$ per person) and a parking fee (9$) I think you should either pay for the parking or an entrance fee that includes the parking. Anyway, the beach was super cool, sandy beach (if you like those) cool water that was perfect and the kids loved it. Too bad the swimming area is not really deep for swimming but if you have kids its exactly what you need.

Yelp
We decided to go there around supper time on a Saturday evening, in one of those gruesome 40+ degrees humidex days. The good: Even though it was 40+ degrees, there was a good breeze and it was super comfortable, even sort of cold when sun was going down. Water warm. Not busy (at the time we went). Paid parking close enough to beach. Pretty clean. Lots of shade areas on sunny days. Fireflies can be seen on the way back to the car. The bad: Driving to paid parking confusing. Paid machine did not want to take credit card, prepare change. Garbage cans were full. No lifeguards and a "Do not swim" sign (people went anyway). Very charming place and a hidden gem on hot days.

Yelp

Yelp
I live not too far from Cap St Jacques. Place is huge. They have beach and some picnic tables to use on perfect summer weather - grill some bbq. They have public toilet. You have to pay for parking.

Yelp
Love this place for relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, playing and enjoying a beautiful spring, summer or fall day or night. Bring a guitar and some friends and make it memorable. Absolutely worthy place to make a weekly gathering of friends and/or lovers. This is a must for any lover of nature. Summertime is the time and place to come here and enjoy the "sand, sex and sun"_ Serge Gainsbourg.

Yelp
It's a park for all seasons. We ski here in the winter and we bathe here in the summer. I don't have much to add to what the other reviewers said (they've covered it) but here are some tips: - There's a sweet spot in early summer before the young'uns have been released from school. The beach is deserted and amazing. We went in late May - it was such a great day. - Arrive EARLY in the morning in summer or winter. Parking can be beastly difficult. - The skiing is GREAT for all levels. I was a total novice the first time we came and I had no problems. There are a couple of little hills on the more difficult trail - great for learning. - Winter. Lodge. Cocoa. Fire. AMAAAZING. Do it.
