An amazing Zoo, with many animals and a lot to explore. My favorite points were: The big bird aviary where the birds can fly over, next you. The tropical greenhouse The savannah area where only a water feature and an electric fence seems to separate visitors from the animals.

Visiting this zoo is an amazing experience. You can easily spend one whole day here. The park itself isn't really big, but it is very well organized and has a lot of animal species to discover. I also got the chance to observe the 3-weeks-old otocyon cubs, which were absolutely adorable. One really nice addition is the free activities which are held every day throughout the zoo; for example, you can see the animals as they are being fed (the presentations are held in French, but you can join in even if you don't understand the language). The animals seemed to be very well taken care of; some of them had lots of space in their enclosure. On the downside, there were also some which had much less moving space. All in all, this is a worthy experience if you love discovering animals and exploring a zoo.

Google
A good experience. Small but well populated with a good range of animals, including a manatee which we had not seen before. We spent 4h30 on site, including a quick lunch and the little shop at the end. The enclosures looked big enough for the animals. Overall, we enjoyed and likely to go back at some point, reminded us of the London Zoo.

Google
A true nature escape in the city for locals and visitors alike, definitely worth a visit! you can book tickets online and skip the wait. The entire layout is well-organized and easy to navigate. The space is large, with plenty of activities. You can follow the schedule to catch animal feeding sessions and educational moments, really great! A relaxed visit takes about 3 hours. In summer, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. It’s a perfect place for families to enjoy time together.

Google
Brillant zoo. Lovely enclosures, staff were very helpful. All animals looked well maintained. Terrible weather and the zoo closed for safety and we were given a full refund. Didnt make the gift shop so my teddy collection is short 🤣 great morning out no crowds

Google
We have spent 3 hours exploring the zoo. We enjoyed our time. The zoo route is clear and guides u easily between animals. It contains a good variety of animals & birds. It could have been great if there were an elephant and bear. A recommendation for sure!

Google
Easily one of the best zoos I have been to. Went on a day where it was rainy midday and the zoo was nearly empty. We had great weather and the animals were awake and active. The enclosures seemed like they had planets of space for the animals within them and the animals seemed content, which made me happy.

Google
A great experience, for those who love the animals. The Zoo is very well suited and big but not too big. You can walk it through in a couple of hours and won't miss a thing.

Yelp
Amazing zoo in the 12th, totally worth the longish transit ride. We live near one of the world's greatest zoos (San Diego Zoo), and we were totally satisfied with the Parc Zoologique de Paris. We didn't feel like it was in any way underwhelming or disappointing. On the contrary ,we were impressed with the very modern habitats, which seemed quite a bit roomier than most zoos, while not quite as spacious as the more open wild animal parks. Of course, as is the case with any zoo, you won't get to see every animal, as, you know, they're wild animals and can't be told to be in the window at all times. But as my wife pointed out, all the snakes can be found under their heat lamps! We will definitely be back next time we're in Paris.

Yelp
Not a bad big city zoo. Admission is online with zoos of this caliber. Animals seem well cared for. Some unique animals not seen at every zoo (e.g., manatee). On the smaller side of larger city zoos. Not a destination zoo, but not bad if in area.

Yelp
This is a lovely zoo nestled in the park. Timed tickets makes it very uncrowded. Easy to walk around with young children. The animals are easy to see. The zoo does an excellent job with the signage in French and English. They make a point of mentioning animal insecurity in the wild, and how the zoo has helped to save and repopulate several species back into their natural habitat.

Yelp
Horrible example of French hospitality!!! We have 2 French citizens & 4 tourists. We accidentally bought 1 extra ticket, and realized it BEFORE THEY HANDED THE TICKETS THROUGH THE WINDOW! We apologized for asking for an extra, and asked to return one. Some woman "manager" came out and spoke to the French people in the group. "It's not our fault that you miscounted!" She said. They refused to take back a ticket. Then they even warned us that it's illegal to sell the extra ticket to someone else. Good thing, we had French locals to tell us what that woman was saying. It just doesn't make sense to the rest of the world that they couldn't refund the one ticket before they actually pass the tickets through the window because the credit card had already gone through. And to be so rude about it! If none of us spoke the language, we would just stand there being completely baffled at whatever she was babbling. The 2 locals have brought many friends here before. They say they will never return.

Yelp
I was in Paris for 10 days, and for logistical purposes I had one particular half-day to kill with my 6 year old nephew. I didn't plan or actually want to visit this place to begin with. Anyways, kids will love it. It's a zoo with animals, so I can't imagine any kid being bored with that in mind. I'm just saying, don't waste your time or money at this zoo. It's small and boring. It's not terrible like the zoos in Mainland China where the animals look to be clearly depressed and mistreated. The zoo in Paris is very well-kept, as a matter of fact. It's just that the variety of animals are limited. This zoo pales in comparison to Singapore Zoo (apples-to-apples comparison, in my opinion).

Yelp
Not very big but it's really modern since it was closed for 5 years and they recently reopened it. you might think this place is expensive compared to a zoo in the united states, but for Paris the price is acceptable. you'll get many mosquito bites inside the tropical animal area where the humidity is controlled, if you have kids with you then you really need to consider bringing bug spray even it's winter time because you'll have to take of your jacket inside, it's very warm. there are two restaurants inside, one at the entrance to the right, and one in the middle of the map (you get a map when you buy the ticket). both restaurants are good.

Yelp
My children told me I have to give this zoo a 5-star rating as we had a great morning here. We needed a break from the typical Paris tourist attractions, and took the metro out to this medium-sized zoo. It is not as large as the premier city zoos of the world, but it also doesn't cost as much (although it is definitely Parisian pricing). It has 5 geozones, all well done, and took us about 2 1/2 hours to tour it with a stop for food. The Tropical area with the manatee aquarium was the favorite. Combined with renting row boats on the lake in the next door park, and a visit to Chateau de Vincennes in the same park, it was a great day, without the crowds.

Yelp
Super modern Zoo with smart layout. Expensive, but worth while. Very modern zoo area. New aquarium area and everything very clean and well organized. It may sound as if an clean and well organized zoo would work for your well being. But you can actually see much mire in a clean aquarium that brings you close to where the animals are and offers large wide clean glass fronts that you can look through. See the pictures to understand what I am talking about. Children can get a view through low level fences and glass fronts. The entrance fee is pretty high and the automatic vending machines wouldn't accept any cards. The zoo is spacy and creates a calm atmosphere. It is most probably the most modern zoo that I have visited until now. I assume that everything has been renovated recently. The area is relatively small. The layout is smart and in some areas with almost invisible electric fences that make you feel as if you were within the animals territory. There are no elephants in this zoo.

Yelp
We were there in December, it was super cold and the sun was not out. It was our last day in Paris and my daughter begged me to go to the zoo. I thought it would be fine since the person at the front counter said things would clear up and the animals would come out. After we paid and went in the animals did not come out and were not visible. We went to cage after cage and area after area and no animals appeared. We went back out and told the person who sold us the tickets the situation and she wouldn't give us our money back. And, she was super rude about it and made my daughter cry. She told us it was our fault for coming on a day with bad weather. Don't waste your time here. I think they could've treated us kinder and done the right thing.

Yelp
Modern Zoo - Lots of Animals This is a fun zoo. We went on a mild day (75F degrees). There were lots of animals out and they were fairly active -- even the bats!! We went to Par Zoologique de Paris, during our weeklong trip to Paris, in which we visit lots of museums. The zoo was a welcome change of pace. It is perfectly sized (a good half-day trip), clean (except for the men's bathroom) and modern. The zoo was a leisurely 15 minute (at most) stroll from the closest metro station. Just follow the signs. The park is flat, walking isn't a problem. There is one gift shop, a few food stands, and at least one sit down restaurant. The food in the restaurant was good; service friendly, but slow. I would recommend a visit to this zoo, especially if traveling with kids.
