Beautiful park with lovely nature. It’s completely free and you can take amazing photos. It’s got some sweet colorful flowers and lots of trees. There is a small portion where you could take a little swim in the lake, perfect for a warm day of summer

Absolutely beautiful park with views towards Lugano lake. You can rest on a bench and admire the nature. The park is well maintained with flowers and green grass. Ducks are wandering. No entrance fee. Close to the park entrance is a gate where lots of people stop and take pictures. Beware of homeless people - we had interaction with one asking for money but he was not dangerous.

Nice park with a beautiful view. We visited during a city festival, so there were a lot of little events happening at the same time across the whole park and the rest of the city. Really cool experience overall.

So beautiful and colourful! You can spencer the whole day there! Mountains, łąkę, flowers, palm trees in the park. Places where you can sit and just admire what is around you! At the beginning of July the water in the łąkę was very warm🙂

Went there during Easter holidays (mid-April) and the views were so so breathtaking. The park is well maintained, clean, and the plants are well taken care of. There are few benches along the paths for resting. There is also a gelato cart at the entrance.

Park Ciani is an absolute gem in the heart of Lugano! This beautifully maintained park offers a peaceful escape with its lush greenery, stunning views of Lake Lugano, and well-kept walking paths. It’s the perfect place to relax, have a picnic, or enjoy a leisurely stroll. The flowerbeds and trees are meticulously cared for, creating a serene atmosphere that makes you feel at peace. It’s also family-friendly, with plenty of space for children to play. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning, Park Ciani never fails to impress. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy nature in Lugano!

Yelp
Strolling through this park to enjoy the views and landscaping was one of the highlights of our visit to Lugano. What will you find at this waterfront park? Swans rolling in the waves, large magnolia trees, stunning flower installations, plenty of activities for kids, a rocky beach-like area and an abundance of shade and public art. It truly is a Lugano gem with the mix of mountain backdrop, palm trees and lush Mediterranean vibes. There are also a few stops throughout the park to grab gelato or a drink to soak in the views. Entrance to the park is free and you can reach it within a ten minute walk along the lake from the core of downtown Lugano. This would make for a great spot to pack a picnic and enjoy the lake breeze on a hot summer day.

Yelp
I came here while strolling through Lugano. The park is very green, has a gate for photo ops, some swans, and a playground with a beautiful view of Switzerland.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in town I always come here for a nice picnic Pros: - Beautiful garden within the park - Well kept - the grass is mowed and super clean - Clean bathrooms (they're a fancier version of a porta potty); there's also a nice fountain right outside the bathrooms to clean your face - 20 minutes from the train station; 5 minutes away from a boat rental place - View of the lake is amazing! Cons: - None!

Yelp
Beautiful park that's a 10-15 minute walk away from the train station. Once you get off the train, just continue to walk down through the town until you get to the lake. Follow the path lined with trees and you'll arrive at the park. Very serene. If you go earlier in the morning you'll have more of the park to yourself - it can get busier during lunch time. A must-see.

Yelp
The trip to this park is incomplete without a picture at the romantic gates. Walk through the whole park. The parking is available underground to the side of the park.
