I wanted to say that I appreciate everything from A-to-Z. I had such an incredible experience. I just booked my time for the pool for the day for me and my daughters. Everything was incredible from entering to the hotel and to the pool service was extremely top-notch. I would like to mention a few names, which I did very much appreciated their service, ambience, and vibes Mr. Robert, the floor, captain, dearest Linda and Señor Angel they were such a good team players all of them I couldn’t ask for more. I have received everything that I have asked for it was such a wonderful experience for me and my two little ladies daughters. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all and I’ll for sure will come back and continue to be a loyal customer. Five stars I give for everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a beautiful, classic hotel with a regal feel. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you have stepped back in time and Grace Kelly is going to walk in any moment! The lobby with the frescos on the ceiling are stunning.|We stayed two nights. We ate dinner both nights at the hotel as we were exhausted and the hotel is a little off the beaten path. We had walked to the Coliseum and back which is about a 2 mile walk, and honestly we didn't see many restaurants near the hotel. It does back up to a magnificent park so if you like to walk or run, it's a great place to do so. The room was beautifully appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We had an upgraded room which looked onto the pool; the grounds are gorgeous. The bathroom is a little tight but not horrible (certainly larger than any bathroom in a NYC hotel!)|The reason for the 4 stars versus 5 stars is that we had asked for help from the Concierge to get some skip the line tickets. He told us to be on our way and he would email the tickets. They never came and I really felt that I needed to hound him about them. Ultimately we never got the tickets and we asked for a refund; we are still waiting to see the refund. While the concierge was just the "middle man" I think he could have been more proactive about getting the tickets to us.|The hotel is pricey but if you are looking for a relaxing kind of vacation this is a great choice.

An oasis in the middle is the best I can describe this wonderful property, the hotel is located on the sidelines of the lush Villa Borghese, the hotel seems removed from the hectic city center but it’s just a 10 min taxi ride from the historic core, you get the best of both worlds, the property is very well kept, luxurious and the personnel think of every detail. The renovated rooms are delightful, minibar full of interesting choices and the Italian shower is amazing for a nighttime shower after those long summer days. Breakfast is delightful as well.

This hotel is beautiful inside and out, the perfect representation of luxe and old school glamour. Staff were welcoming, friendly and more than happy to help in any way they can. Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious however aircon/heating was difficult to work and it didn’t seem to work at all. Having a balcony really added to the experience. Bar and terrace area were amazing and the bar staff were very attentive. Breakfast didn’t blow me away, had to pay extra for hot items which at the cost I would think would be included however the continental selection was good. Overall an amazing hotel in a great location.

My husband, myself, and our 18 year old son stayed for a week in July 2025. We felt the rooms were pretty small. There were only three small drawers, which of course didn't hold hardly any of the clothes we brought. Please know there are no irons in the room. We knew this ahead of time and brought our steamer but it tripped the circuit each time we used it. The bathroom is incredibly small and the shower has only a half fixed glass partition, so we got water all over the place when we showered. The water pressure was very intense and we couldn't figure out a way to adjust it. I had to hold me hands over my face because it just stung so much. The breakfast is only so-so, it is the same thing each morning and not a huge selection. The pastries/muffins, etc were pretty dry. The pool was pretty nice, the temperature was perfect. There are attendants there who come by frequently to take your food/drink order but the prices are pretty high at this hotel. It is quite a bit of a walk to the ancient Roman ruins, depending on where you are going, a mile give or take. The side walks are plenty but Rome itself is very hilly and the streets/sidewalks are cobble stone and very easy to trip so if you're walking bring sturdy shoes and pay attention every step. It butts up to Borghese park, which is a huge 150 acre park with plenty of runners, bikers, walkers and is a great place to stroll around. There are some pretty fountains, statues, etc. There is a nice little restaurant and pond there, as well as the famous Borghese museum (book weeks in advance). Overall, I was disappointed and likely wouldn't go back. The room and bathroom were just so small!

This is a classically beautiful grand hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable. The furnishings were lovely but old fashioned so if you are looking for modern, this is not it. I, however, found everything to be beautifully appointed. Great art, classic grand furnishings and sophisticated finishings. The staff was beyond helpful, going out of their way maybt times to assist me and my friends. There was a lovely buffet every morning and the restaurant staff was also very accommodating. We arrived just after Pope Francis passed away and as result, many dignitaries were staying in this hotel. That’s always a good sign! Rome is an amazing city and the Parco Dei Principi is a great place to stay when you are visiting!

Family of 5 adults and 3 children (17, 15 and 9). Stayed 3 nights. Interconnecting rooms. Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is so welcoming and service was exceptional. very clean everywhere. The hotel is located by the park. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the city wall, but generally we just used uber to get to where we needed to go. Some really super local restaurants less than 10 minutes walk away just use google maps to show them and their associates ratings. The swimming pool was a welcome addition after a long hot day sightseeing. The indoor spa is really very very lovely! enjoyed the cold plunge pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. A really lovely relaxing room in there too. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a quiet residential neighbourhood. If you want to be walking distance of everything then this might be too far out but if you are happy for some Ubers (we needed a van each time as there was five of us and was around €18 per trip, car I think was about €11) and prefer staying in a quieter more authentic and less touristy part of town this is a perfect choice.

Five stars for a true 5-star hotel! We stayed 2 nights at the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi and it was everything you expect from a real luxury experience, elegant rooms, relaxing spa and pool, excellent breakfast, and impeccable service. Peaceful yet close to the city. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Food is okay. Honestly the town food is way better on the side shops. The rooms pillows are as hard as a rock. Have a massive stiff neck from sleeping on them. The elevators are exceptionally small & the walls are thin. Can hear my neighbor rip ass occasionally as I sleep. The only thing carrying the hotel is the gym. And if you want access to the indoor pool is $25/day & not included. Not worth it.

Yelp
This place is definitely better than average. Rooms are clean and well appointed, staff is friendly and in a great and quiet neighborhood. Prices were fair and they have an awesome spa and pool area, which when in Rome I rarely have used. This is a welcome surprise and we'll worth the price. Done discount place like this if you can find them in very pricy Rome. I'd come back easily here

Yelp
This hotel is shabby. They claim to be a 5 star but they most certainly are not. Their rooms are old and dirty. They told us over the phone while booking that their rooms had been redone. They were not. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom was tiny and dated. Motel quality at best. Their service was rude and unhelpful across the board. The housekeeping was tragic. Restaurant servers were rude. Front desk staff was completely unhelpful. Worst hotel experience I've had in decades.

Yelp
Wow, what a stunning boutiquey hotel upon first impression. In the lobby, the couches were unique, and the decor was classic Roman with statues and paintings. The pool was the best we experienced on our road trip through Italy; it was one of the most perfect pool temperatures and sizes for a hotel that we've ever had actually! The bar/grill prices for the hotel were pretty high but we still got a glass of wine and water, and your order comes with snacks like nuts and chips. In the room, the beds and sheets were super comfortable. Not sure if Italy doesn't usually have king size beds, but it's two twin beds pushed together with bedding over it to appear like a king- doesn't matter because still comfy. I liked the balcony view of the pool and the Vatican out in the distance. Breakfast was in what seemed like a wedding cocktail hour room with beautiful seating and also balcony seating. Their spread was the same everyday, but still delicious- I was obsessed with the knots of mozzarella and the little tomato/pizza bread. We also had dessert at their hotel bar one night- great tiramisu - the romantic candlelit setting on the balcony was beautiful. The valet staff were also helpful with informing us about the shuttle to the Spanish steps to save us from a cab ride. The concierge was always willing to answer questions and help us with logistics of our day. The turndown service was also prompt and appreciated. We really enjoyed staying here!

Yelp
I really can't say anything bad about this hotel. The front desk was so kind and extremely helpful. They spoiled my daughter with gifts and cookies. We arrived before check in and were upgraded to a suite with a king bed and a separate room with a sofa bed. The bathroom was huge with a Roman bath, you felt like a king/Queen sitting in the bathtub as it was raised up off the ground. There was a bidet as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were thick blackout curtains that kept every bit of light out. They had a turn down service each evening and they left us bottles of water each night. The room had a Nespresso machine and there were lots of cupboards, closets and drawers for storage. The cafe outside had cappuccinos and espresso and they give croissants with your drinks. I just about died the first morning I came down to breakfast. There was a long table, both sides filled with things you only dream of. So many varieties of cheese, tarts, breads, cereals, little Nutellas, hard boiled eggs, champagne, cookies, hot food and a corner just for bread! Lots of types of bread! I felt like a kid in s candy store. Breakfast alone is what determined that we will return in the future. The hotels location is not near the city center but there is a large park nice for strolling and it's not far from a large shopping area.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed staying at this hotel, but we did feel a little out of place. We're from LA and are used to dressing really casual but noticed that several of the other guests who stayed here were either diplomats or models, haha. We honestly had a lovely time at this hotel. We swam in the outside pool, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to take advantage of their indoor gym and indoor pool, and jacuzzi. We had one of the best dinners here (rabbit ravioli, pork loin, pistachio dessert, etc., but we didn't like their continental breakfast, which I guess is very different from what we would expect in the U.S.). We felt really cared for by the staff here and would definitely enjoy staying here again. Just wished their king sized beds were actually king sized and not two mattresses squished into one bed frame... I kept falling in the crack of the bed which was really uncomfortable.

Yelp
Exceptional service from the moment we arrived. I left my passport in the drivers car and Frederico was quick to reach out to the driver to have him return. In the meantime I enjoyed a delightful cocktail as I waited. Later in the evening we experienced the tasting menu and it was spectacular. The only item not to my taste was the squid. The risotto was absolutely brilliant. Probably the best I've had in my life. And the wine selection was extensive. This is definitely a boutique hotel with some wonderful old world charm. Right when you walk into the lobby The classic beauty of the chandeliers welcome you, and the reception rooms feel like a living space in a stunning villa. It exactly what I was hoping for in Rome.

Yelp
Day 2: I called in for breakfast, and I was quite upset to find a mainly continental selection, with eggs and bacon, they did have tomato but many British Breakfast favourites, like baked beans were missing. Scrambled Egg for example, with Tomato would be free, but if you wanted Fried Egg, Omelette, pancakes etc you would have to pay extortionate prices. The food isn't great to warrant that price either, the tomatoes have an unusual taste and seem weaker with more juice, which I don't like. My main order for breakfast was an omelette with cheese, ham and tomato, I found it to be pricey for 14 euros, and I was upset they did not serve baked beans to go with it, another classic English breakfast favourite, my omelette was not very nice, it was far too thick in my opinion and that ruined it, I asked for only a little tomato and I found they was too much, and the ham tasted more like a gammon rather than ham, which I didn't really like in an omelette. Overall, it was just to thick and for 14 euros, they just can't do that. The staff at breakfast seem good, they speak English but due to my fast speaking nature, and them not being fluent it can be hard, a woman even had to get a man to help translate for her, due to me ordering a special brand of tea, and then he was explaining to her right in-front of me about different types of tea, she (like most the staff here) is quite nice, and I know next time I see her what I have to ask for! It would of been nice to actually see the teabags, rather than request a flavour, as they was limited supply on my table and then some, staff keep on them, so that could of helped me get my "Prince of Wales" tea I wanted to have, and avoid the mis-understanding, but nevertheless I still enjoyed my cup of tea, even though it was "English Breakfast" Along with the disappointing breakfast experience, Day 2 was also a nightmare, in the evening, in the hotel, with the food situation. I wanted to grab something to eat, hence I went to order a toastie, I wanted it on my own bread, having not liked the bread they offer, but even though I offered to pay the full 10 euro for them to make it on my bread, they wouldn't do it, hence I was really upset to find they didn't do it on my bread, or use bread at all, they used a muffin, and they didn't use my toaster bag either, hence a cross-contamination risk. It took about 90 minutes of having my friend to get a drink and toasties in the bar, for them to bring mine back up to me (they didn't even want food), back and forth journeys, a good number of euros, just to get 2 slices of toast, as the toasty was inedible, luckily they did eventually toast my bread in the toaster bag free of charge, but after all this messing about and stress, they could have done it in the first place. Day 3: After a bad night in the hotel, I just wanted a good night's sleep and with a relatively comfortable bed, I thought this is something they could deliver on, but I was wrong. At 2am, I was waken up through 2 calls of the telephone, one which was created and the other one by mistake, and since then I struggled to get back to sleep, I do struggle to sleep well, especially in hotels so when I am getting calls like this, it really wasn't good for me and near enough kept me awake ever since, giving me literally no sleep. The phone did ring the first time and they did say straight away it was the wrong number, but it did ring straight after, it was only a "one-ring" but still it shouldn't have rang a second time. It should have rung once. They also rang my friend in the adjoining room, for which must have been at a similar time, or an hour before, so they did definitely know that they shouldn't be ringing me, so 4 times is just ridiculous and they said, they couldn't even stop it because it had been requested and I had to take my phone off the hook (I wasn't told, my friend was) General: The breakfast and cleaning staff here seem to be nice as well, the cleaning staff didn't leave my room in immaculate condition, with a few places they missed, but they still done well to clear up the sugar I left dotted around the room! (You can't take away my teabags!). No plug sockets near the bed (They are all near the desk) - I don't like this! The Scrambled Eggs here is probably one of the better, free breakfast options. They are actually quite nice, going alongside Twynings teabags and fruit juice, although I have found bits of shell left inside on numerous occasions. The wi-fi here is very intermittent and on "Gold" level, as long as you submit your details every day, it is free, although quite slow and often disconnecting. I still feel I can only give this hotel 2 stars, with the main reasons being the wake up incident and them taking advantage of being a 5 star hotel too much, and to the advantage of them, not the guest with overpricing, making it impossible to eat or drink in the hotel, and sometimes it isn't optional with nothing being that close to the hotel.

Yelp
The reviews of the hotel worried me, I don't get it. This was a 5 star hotel, and every aspect of the hotel held up to what I would expect from a hotel of its caliber. The price was 100-150 euros a night cheaper than the next cheapest 5 star, or 1000 euros night cheaper than the ones in the heart of the city. The hotel is like 1 of 5 with a pool, and the pool was perfect! Big, deep, very few kids, comfortable seating with waiter service. The hotel rooms were big, with a view. The bedding was super comfortable which is so rare in Italy. The only complaint I can think of, and I am digging for complaints just to find one is the door in the bathrooms should slide rather than open into the bathroom. And the shower was a big narrow. That is it! This hotel was perfect in every other way. Ubers picked us up in front and took us around the city. The part of town we are in is quiet which makes walking around at night feel safe.

Yelp
Spent almost a two weeks at this hotel. Nice hotel although it has a very vintage feeling to it. The staff were very nice although a bit rude when I would call them back saying they had forgotten from my room service order. Their food was great. Their breakfast was to die for. The scrambled eggs in the all you can eat buffet were really good as well as the bacon. The cleaning staff were magnificent and very friendly. My only complain was that they sometimes had trouble understanding English and would therefore mess up my good orders alot. Would definitely go back again when I can afford 600€ a night.

Yelp
Came here for business stay. The room is decent and all the extra stuff are ok. But at $300 US a night, you would think that the hotel is amazing. The extra charges are what this hotel stay ridiculous. When you make local calls, they charge you 20 cents EU a minute. That's fine if you have to pay for local calls. Then when you check out, they charge you for mini bar in the room when nothing is missing. They do not give you a detail of what was missing, and just tell you that you are being charge $17EU. This is ridiculous when I had to go out to supermarket to get water, drinks, and water to make sure that I didn't have to drink the overprice items in the fridge. Water in the fridge was $5 a bottle vs. supermarket was 30 cents a bottle. It isn't worth it for $300 a night and then have to deal with unethical charge afterward

Yelp
I visited this Hotel some weeks ago with my friend. It is an oldschool romantic Hotel, clean and chic. BUT: the seems to be a lack of communication between visitors and the staff. Sometimes they did not understand what we wanted, even though we are able to speak proper english. The juices for breakfast should be changend the taste like everything but not juice! Wunderful and a must: the pool and spa area.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed in Hotel Parco dei Principi as part of our honeymoon. This was the shortest stay of our trip, so I cannot say that I got to experience all of what the hotel has to offer. However, our room was nice and clean, the bathroom especially. Our balcony was great and looked out over the pool and Villa Borghese. Signing into the internet WiFi was a chore, and I had to go to the desk as I was told I reached my limit of devices before I even signed up one of them. Once I got to the desk they were happy to waive the rule and gave me an access code instead. We grabbed a quick lunch at the restaurant by the pool which was enjoyable both times. Dinner in the restaurant downstairs was fair, though the staff refused to do anything about a party seated near us who couldn't control their child (who was about 7 years too old for the behavior he was exhibiting). I don't think the mohawk haircut, loud and obnoxious sounds/comments, and feet on the chair are something the hotel should allow if they care to keep the other guests happy. It was ridiculous to pay what we did for dinner just to struggle to hear one another over this snobby group of 3, two of which were "adults" if judging by age only. I think the two women needed as much parental supervision as their child could use as well. If they parents aren't going to "parent," then the hotel should at least have the management capability to control a set of circumstances for the sake of the rest of their guests. One other note was the unexpected but interesting fact that we saw / met multiple notable people or over the course of our three days. "Celebrities" of United States television and Italian sporting fame.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous and very large outdoor pool. windows open in the rooms and we had a balcony off of our room. Room did smell a little musty when we got there but that odor was gone within minutes of opening the windows. It is in a quieter section of Rome which is nice for sleeping purposes. Overlooked Borghese Park which was right across the street. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and had lots of options. The pool is really great if you are traveling with kids!

Yelp
We had the opportunity to stay at the Parco Dei Principi Grand Hotel in Rome as part of a pre-cruise package arranged through Holland America Cruise line. We found it to be excellent hotel that is rated as a 5 star hotel in most tour books we checked. The hotel lobby is beautiful; their level of service was quite good. Everything in the hotel is beautifully appointed, lobby, eating areas, etc. They offered decent size rooms and even provided a king size bed which is not always available in Rome or Europe. The breakfast buffet is also "above the top", lots of good generous choices and excellent service. However because of a number of minor issues, which I did not consider critical but one major "security issue", which I do consider very serious, I would never stay there again. Minor issues include the fact that the hotel is not in the center of things. However it is close enough to walk to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, about 20 minutes. It is also right next to Borghese Park, one of the spots tour books advise you must visit. They do provide Wi-Fi, but charge for it. At the prices they charge for a nights stay you would expect that service to be provided for free. However, I discovered a "security problem that apparently exists in each hotel room which I prefer not to detail to avoid the information getting into the wrong hands. I pointed it out to the hotel staff and management and was told "that is the way it is in every room". They kept insisting that the hotel is in a safe neighborhood and they never had a problem, which I can't believe is the case. In my opinion even though the hotel appears to be in a good area I believe this issue is an invitation to potential problems. If it were not for that one problem I would give the hotel a rating of 4. Because of the one issue I am only rating the hotel as a 1.

Yelp
This hotel has horrible service esp for the price you're paying! The front desk people are NOT very helpful, they act like snobs!!. They claim to have shuttle service but its very limited and unpredictable. You have to pay for wifi. They even make you buy over priced swimming caps to use the hotel pool! The only reason Im giving the hotel 2 stars is for the indoor pool. Its beautiful! they also have a HUGE jacuzzi that has individual massage chairs that stream jet water into different pressure points down to your finger tips. that was pretty cool. Overall, i do not recommend this place though.

Yelp
This hotel has a rustic, old Parisian feel to it. Wonderful complimentary breakfast included with a lot of variety to pick from and a lovely, lovely spa area to go after a nice long day out wondering the streets of Rome. I would definitely come back. Only down side, no free wifi.

Yelp
I am a current guest at this hotel and I am very disappointed with my reservation. One of the primary reasons I chose this hotel was the reported views but most importantly was access to a pool facility after a long day of touring. When we checked into our room 431 we had the view of a side street and we were told if we wanted a better view it would cost more money. When we went to the pool we were told it wasn't included in our reservation and that it would cost $18 euros each. Never at anytime when I was booking the reservation was I given a rate that included or excluded access to the pool. Today the pool closed early for a private event which is beyond rude to the guests who booked here specifically to use the pool in the first place. We were then directed to the spa pool where we were told we would have to pay $25 euro each to use the pool that wasn't even the one we wanted to use in the first place. While our accommodations are fine I am beyond disappointed that the amenities that were suppose to be included have turned out to be a cleverly veiled way to fleece their customers. I will not recommend this hotel because it does not stand by its reservation and is so obviously trying to milk every euro it can from the guests that are already paying astronomical prices for tiny rooms with views of any alley. We were just told that the hotel has only recently started charging for use of the pool. So it wasn't even something I would have been aware of at booking. I cannot in good conscience even think to support the reported five star rating that I was originally hooked by to book the reservation. Very disappointed!!!! Beware before you book!
