Parco Naturale Sciliar - Catinaccio

Free parking near the ticket office. Take the Alpe do Suisi funicular then walk about one kilometer to the Panorama chairlift. From there you have a multitude of amazing hikes and views on this majestic high plain. Plan for a full day.

Great place for a gateway away from the city. If you love hiking this is definitely the place to be. One of the most fantastic places i have been. I took the hike to Mont Pez. And it was great one it medium hike everyone can do it however if you have a good cardio. You might be hiking around 2 hours uphill. On top of the mountain you can find an hotel with restaurant.

A heaven for hikers of various levels. You will get tired of majestic views of rock towers from every direction! There are many via ferrata sections. They are not difficult but long and physically demanding. I needed to clip in only in few places (as an experienced mountain runner) but make sure you have the equipment for those critical passes.

Swisher Alm is a hoghland meadow with tons of different trek options of various length and difficulty. Everything is so beautiful, it looks photoshopped :)

!!!! Very beautiful place with the great view on mountains! Also you can drink something hot/cold and to eat there with affordable prices!

They have shut off access via car forcing you to use the cable car. We bailed after my wife talked to others about how the car was a sweat box (hot spell in June) with no ventilation. Disappointing.
