Parea Tavern

Had a great experience at Parea. Upon arrival our table wasn’t ready so we were offered a place to sit and wait as well as free drinks, it was very much unnecessary but appreciated nonetheless! The food was delicious. Definitely recommend the moussaka which was the highlight of the meal! Also provides a great view of the city below. We will definitely be back!

It’s on the top of the hill from where you can see the amazing view from the island. Great service! Great food really tastefully. We ordered 2 cocktails in which we didn’t taste any Alcohol. The atmosphere and the views were great. Recommended. It’s the most top of the hill restaurant on the west side of the island.

What a fantastic dinner!! There's no killer view on this roof top terrace (it's kind of behind the caldera) but the food definitely makes this place a dinner to remember. Very attentive and friendly service. Everything we ordered was perfect. The complimentary cheesecake jars for dessert were an unexpected delight.

We tried this restaurant and the food was delicious. The service was fast and friendly, the food came quickly, and the atmosphere was pleasant with a cool breeze. The prices were reasonable, making it a great choice.

Best food ever, highly recommend the sea bass or sea bream, but everything was just fantastic. Extremely efficient and communicative staff, never seen anything like that. Super busy place, there is a line - you talk to one waiter and somehow they all know what was discussed and someone else takes care of it in like 2 minutes. I'm absolutely mesmerized with the logistics and friendliness of this place.

If you're in Fira, you absolutely must visit this place. The dishes are delicious, and the service is top! We had a truly wonderful time here. It was pure pleasure. Ευχαριστώ :) P.S. Don’t leave Parea Tavern without trying the zucchini sticks :).

Dinner at sunset on a hot summer's evening with great service, cold local beer, and delicious dishes — the moussaka and prawns were especially good. Parea was recommended by a local as a place where locals themselves like to eat, and amongst the tourist crowds, that tip was much appreciated.

With a second floor with glass walls, perfect for when you want a break from the sun without forgoing the views. Fantastic seafood. The seafood platter for two has a good variety and great value (mussels, fried calamari, shrimp, octopus, horta, and a whole fish). We started with the eggplant dip and pita. The pita was warm and soft but the eggplant dip wasn’t my favourite. Complimentary “cheesecake” at the end of the meal was a nice change from the usual desserts.
