Exceptional visit to Fragonard in Èze! Our visit to the Fragonard shop and museum in Èze was an absolute delight, made truly special by the wonderful Lyudmyla. She is not only exceptionally knowledgeable about perfumes and the art of fragrance making but also genuinely passionate about sharing it. Lyudmyla took her time to explain every detail with warmth and enthusiasm, answering all our questions and helping us discover scents that suited each of us perfectly. Her professionalism, charm, and kindness turned what could have been a simple shop visit into a memorable experience. We left with beautiful perfumes — and an even greater appreciation for the craftsmanship behind them — all thanks to her. Fragonard is lucky to have such a fantastic ambassador for their brand!

We had such a lovely time at the perfume workshop! Creating our own scent was a unique and fun experience, and the guide was friendly, patient, and very informative. It was fascinating to learn just how much thought and effort goes into making a perfume. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area who wants to try something different.

We really enjoyed our tour of the Fragonard Laboratory and Factory. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for our tour guide. Lyudmila spoke excellent English and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to try different products and scents after the tour but didn’t feel pressured to buy anything.

Visited the Perfumerie Fragonard Èze as a day tour from Nice. They provided a free guided tour of their facility to show the process of conversion of raw materials into perfumes, soaps, and other products. It was very interesting to observe the entire process. At the end tour we visited their store and purchased some products.

The visit and perfume making is worth it. You can only reserve online, however. We were able to reserve online once there because they still had spots. Not sure it would be the case in the middle of summer. It was still very busy in October. Our guide, Magdalena, was amazing. Not only is her English impeccable but she conveys such pride to work for this family and maison. She was remarkable and the perfume making expérience is worth the stop. Their products are excellent. If you don’t know about them, you might find them expensive but once you know how they’re made, what goes in them and experience how they feel in your skin, you’ll become an instant fan.

The tour was interesting and enjoyable. Our guide was kind and professional. However, the visit itself was quite short and there wasn’t much to see or explore. The highlight was definitely the olfactory workshop, where we got to create our own perfumes – a truly worthwhile experience. Overall, the visit focused mainly on time spent in the shop and promoting the products.

We visited this perfumery factory and got a guided tour. They explained the perfume history and showed us the manufacturing process. The staff was kind and the soft-selling was smooth. But the small 10ml decant bottle they sold is not transparent though, barely half filled, it felt as if they short changed us. Should be changed to a transparent bottle so the customer can see the liquid.

Perfumery heaven! The smell of luxury! The tour is short, but covers all you need to know. You start by trying to identify smells. The guide explains the ins and outs of how the perfume is made and the history. There's a video that shows the process of different scents. Upstairs, you get to enjoy a presentation of various perfumes and shop to your heart's content. Of course, there's a push for you to buy the product. A great little tour and shop where you can buy soaps, diffusers, perfume, and the like. If you're on a tour, don't take much time because the Village of Eze is a place worth exploring!

Ana provided outstanding customer service! Thanks Ana!! Located right at the base of Ezé village lies Fragonard, one of the utmost respected parfumeries in the region. Loads of choices -perfumes, eau de toilettes, soaps, lotions, and more! We purchased a perfume, and a couple of eau de toilettes, all of which were wonderful, and reasonably priced. I really like how they sell large "bulk" versions of some of their Eau de toilets. I ended up picking up a reasonably priced bulk bottle for about ~80 Euro, and then purchased a small spray bottle for about 10 Euro. If you do buy their spray bottle, just know that the inner bottle opening is small, so you may need to use a funnel to fill it without spilling. We loved Fragonard so much, we ended up shopping at the Nice Airport store as well. Prices at the airport were the same as in-store, which is great. Thanks again to Ana for answering all of our questions and providing excellent service. Also, thank you for the samples!!! If you're coming to Ezé, be sure to stop by. Really enjoyed my time here. The person giving us the tour was really lovely and really went in depth about the history and the process of perfume making. The tour is around 30 minutes and they end the tour in the gift shop where they have a huge selection of fragrances, lotions, soaps, etc. Their prices are a bit elevated but they do offer good deals if you buy different sets. It is so hard to select any perfume since they all smell so good. The employees are all super helpful in trying to narrow down scents and make the selection process a little easier. The perfumery is also located on a beautiful mountain with the most amazing view of France which makes for beautiful pictures.

My visit to the Fragonard Perfume Factory caught me completely by surprise. We stopped here before heading to Eze on a tour and my expectations were blown away. The experience allowed us to learn about the perfume-making process and smell different components of various fragrances. The tour is quick and ends in the shop. I usually struggle to find a perfume I love but each one I smelled was amazing. I went in with no intention of buying anything but left with a set of five perfumes. I don't regret it at all! It's a great memory and much more affordable than getting the perfumes in the US and they make perfect gifts. Definitely worth the stop!

This was a fun thing to try out by making your own perfume. We ordered tickets in advance and when we arrived right at 3pm the staff tried to say that we didn't have a reservation/ tickets. They were very rude and she realized we were with the 3pm group, which already started (so make sure you arrive ahead of time because they will start right on time). Making the perfume was a fun experience but I imagined more scents to mix with. You only get 3 scents to mix around to make your perfume. Once the tour is done they take you to the gift shop.

As a scheduled stop on our 'French Riviera in One Day' tour, our one hour visit to Fragonard, ended up being one of our most enjoyable parts of our day. One thing that can happen on guided tours all over the world is when a retail outlet gives kickbacks to the tour operator for bringing potential buyers to theirs stores. Not sure if this is what happened here, but strangely, it ended in a real good experience. Fragonard offers free tours, and most of the time is spent in learning about the perfume industry, terminology, and even some hands-on labs. Our tour group dropped us off right before 10:30, and we were led to a waiting room. Ramona was the Fragonard employee who led our tour, and she was lovely. First she gave an education: - Every perfume factory has a person, nicknamed 'the Nose', who is responsible for the creation of the smell of the fragrance. He/She must have 10 years of experience/training, and be able to recognize 3,000 different smells. She can only work up to 3 hours a day, since after that the lose their senses. - there are 4 different types of perfumes, based on concentration of the essential oils vs alcohol; 24% is parfum; eau de parfum 15%; 10% eau de toilette; 5% eau de cologne - aluminum bottles are better to keep fragrances in, than clear bottles. It can keep up to 10 years. Next were hands-on: - you had to match up 8 different fragrances together. We both guessed half correctly. - we had the chance to create our own fragrance, from 3 different essential oils, and keep the result as a free souvenir. - we got a walking tour of the factory (it isn't much) where they bottle the parfum and beauty supplies - we then got to sample their lotions, creams, after-shaves, and parfums. Of course, at the end, there was an opportunity to buy any of the products. Ramona was our salesperson as well, and got the commission. We ended up getting 5 small bottles of 5 different scents, for a reduced price. They will make great gifts.

We booked a small group tour of Monaco, which included a stop at the Village d'Eze and the nearby Fragonard parfumerie (perfume factory). The tour was very educational--the guide let us know how flower and plant oil is extracted to create the perfumes and soaps. Apparently it takes at least 6 years to get iris oil (from the start of the life cycle to end)! I've not heard of Fragonard before. They are a parfumerie that is not sold outside or licensed to sell outside of France. At the end, we were able to sample a variety of perfumes. This part was fine until they started to "sell" us on their products. The tour had also ended in their gift shop as well. The nearby village, which is on a hill, was a nice visit. Too bad there wasn't more of a tour of the village. This excursion was very touristy!

This year was my second time visiting this perfume factory and the experience was just as good as the first time. The guided tour felt a bit rushed and we didn't get to see any actual processes behind creating products, but overall it was nice. The tour ends at a gift shop where you get to try various samples and listen to the stories behind each scent, which was fun. This time, we came there towards closing, so it wasn't too crowded.

I used to be a Fragonard Fan until last year. Now there is not one single scent in their entire collection that can qualify as a perfume. Everything is manufactured poorly and watered down. I had visited Fragonard eight years ago and purchased many fragrances soaps and other household stuff. Their fragrances were excellent then. I was really looking forward to replenish my stock of perfumes & was so disappointed. Please dont waste your money here. The fragrances are only scented water that disappears within minutes of wearing it.

Stopped here as part of a day tour package hubs and I booked that included stops in the old town of Eze, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, and St. Paul de Venace. It's one of three Fragonard sites, a family run business making perfumes, soaps, creams, and lotions. This particular site made the latter three, while still providing tours that also discussed perfumes, the four types (parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne, the latter two being the least long-lasting). Our tour guide walked us through the factory, had us try and guess which scents were which, using canisters of different fragrances, and then brought us upstairs where we got to smell multiple samples of perfumes that were also available for purchase. Perfumes aren't my thing, but it was a pleasant way to spend an hour.

I was expecting a full-on tourist trap but I was pleasantly surprised. The "factory" tour wasn't all the revealing but there were a couple interesting sights and tidbits along the way. The main event is the gift shop at the end of the tour and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, which isn't something I associate with perfume and cologne. They had a nice assortment of soaps, colognes, perfumes, air fresheners, all of which you can sample and ask questions about. Ultimately, it's somewhat in the middle of nowhere but it makes a nice stop along with the Jardins Exotique or on the way to Monaco.

Perfume is great. They have everything and offer tours to see how perfume is made. I like the 2oz bottle of perfume because you can take it through airport security.

I wandered into the Fragonard Factory one rainy afternoon after having climbed Nietzsche's path for an hour. I was headed to Eze's village but took a wrong exit. The receptionist was kind enough to offer me some water and a quick tour of the factory. The scents were absolutely Divine and intoxicating. My tour guide Astrid was very knowledgeable and explained the factory's start and family history. The factory itself was beautiful, definitely a gem in the south of France.

Authentic, yes! Touristy, yes! Totally worth the visit, absolutely. Kind staff that speaks multiple languages, ready to sell and share all information about their products with you. It's hard to miss this legendary perfume powerhouse. They welcome all, encourage photos, happy to spend time with you and sell sell sell, it's the perfect souvenir to take home. They truly care about the customers and their business. Their products sell themselves, but there is such a rich history with this company and how the perfumes are made it's actually fun learning about their products. They will tell you everything from beginning to end. Moderately priced items can be found. It's hard to miss this store and you'd feel foolish if you didn't stop in even for a moment.

This is indeed the perfumery that all tourist should go! Still remember I visited this place 10 years ago and bought two bottles of cologne. Was never able to find the same fragrance since! Love this place and it's lovely to visit! I kept the bottle just in case one day I can return and buy another!!

This is THE perfumery that all tourists go to...to visit, and buy lots of perfume / soaps, etc. During our excursion, they dropped us off here to check out the perfumery in Eze and we only spent 15 minutes here, since we were more interested in visiting the gardens on top of Eze Village (gorgeous views there). If your'e interested in picking up some gifts for friends and family, then this sis a good place to do so! Prices are expensive though...

All I can say is that this place is lovely ! If you ever find yourself in Eze I strongly suggest you pay a visit to the " Fragonard Laboratoire. " This perfumerie is located at the highest point this Eze, on the side of a giant cliff which over looks the entire city and ocean , the view is breath taking. Fragonard specializes in making perfume, soap and skin care products from local flowers and plants found in the region. I strongly recommend taking a tour. The staff teach you entire the process of how they extract the sent from the plants and flowers to the finished product. PLUS .. at the end of the tour you can purchase/ create your own perfume based on the collection of fragrances they have on hand at the time. Within the Fragonard Laboratoire houses their shop where you can buy any of their products. While I was there I bought my parents a gift set of soaps , each soap is made from a different flower found in the region of Eze, they smelt AMAZING , plus they were wrapped so pretty my parents were fearful of opening it up. I bought a travel size of custom perfume made from orange extract, I kinda regret not getting a larger bottle .. oh well I now have a reason to go back and visit :)

As part of our day tour with Liven up tours to Monaco, our van stopped here for a guided tour though the lab and gift shop. It's really a scenic location nestled in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean. The process is really fascinating as well to see all the different varieties of flowers and raw scents and just how much it takes to make a small amount of the final product. Our guide really knew her facts about the process and was able to present it to us effectively as we moved throughout the lab. The gift shop has everything from parfum (perfume over 30% conc), eau de parfum (perfume 15-20 % conc), and eau de toilette (perfume around 10% conc for men's cologne) to soaps, moisturizers, etc. Fragonard has really good factory prices on bundles and special products not available in airport duty-free shops. However, other perfumeries like Galimard and Molinard don't sell their products anywhere else. You can find Fragonard in duty-free shops. It was a nice way to start the day by smelling a lot of nice scents but it takes a toll on your nose after a while. You can't miss out on a trip here. They make sell the products in Paris and around the world but the factories are located here in the French Riviera!

Situated in the breathtakingly picturesque mediaeval village of Eze, you'll find this long-established French perfumery. This 'branch' is located in a beautifully decorated and - unsurprisingly - fragrant, traditional village house; a perfect setting to experience and enjoy all the eponymous scents. Many of the products - for personal fragrance and for the home - draw on the richly redolent heritage of Provence. All the herb and blossom notes you might imagine, together with some rarer substances, feature in their ranges. The names too are evocative and descriptive, like Bleu Riviera and Belle de Soleil. You can test-away to your hearts content here, before leaving with just a sample, or a small item, such as a scented sachet; or invest more Euros in a candle, room spray, eau de cologne or perfume. If you want to discover more about the perfumery production process and history of the company - dating back to 1926 - it's also possible to visit the nearby factory.

This is my second visit to Fragonard and I'm happy I accidentally stumbled by it again. The place is exactly how I remembered it from years ago. They offer perfume, body lotion, and skincare at Fragonard. I wasn't as interested in the other products, except the perfume. The packaging is simple and different from retail, but you are also paying a lot less than retail. If you can't make up your mind on which perfume to purchase, the best deal is get the bundle package of 5. They have different sizes to choose from and you can handpick which bottle you want for your bundle. Each sales person will help you guide through the various perfume and help you find your style of preference. It's a good idea to know what type of notes you like in your perfume to help narrow down the search. Tour is available here, but you'll have to inquire and request one if you're interested. Overall, a great stop if you're visiting the hillside town of Eze. PS They offer free parking in their private lot.

This factory is made for tourists, but they do make good quality perfumes and cosmetics which could make for good gifts for your friends and family. Our tour guide showed us around the factory and she was very knowledgable and friendly. I am not into perfumes as they are filled with toxins and chemicals. I was more interested into the rentable Ferraris parked outside. Oh la la !

Fragonard is a lovely experience. You will be greeted by a guide who will give you an outstanding tour of the perfumery. Yes they encourage you to buy but there are so many beautiful items to choose from at all price ranges. A scensory delight and not to be missed!

Have you ever seen how perfume, soap, creams, lotions, potions or anything in the cosmetics field is made? Probably not! I was mesmerized in their laboratory. You can have a tour of the actual laboratory and smell various local scents and watch products being made, or just go to the store portion of the building where you have the option of buying their products (because you will want to). Like everything else in the Cote d'Azur, the drive up a hill is breathtaking in itself, but once you get up it's even more beautiful. Èze, the remarkable village on the hill is not very far from Nice. You can take a bus from Nice, but be warned certain ones don't come that often, and some don't run on Sundays, so check before! Back to the Fragonard... The women who work here don't care if you linger around smelling anything and everything that catches your eye, and will certainly help you if need be, or if you are looking for something for a special someone. They have sets available of certain scents, as well as individual products. I think the sets are a tad overpriced, but at least your know how and where they are made! I would opt for getting different, smaller sizes of various scents and products, but the sets make a very special gift...and yes, men, they carry products for you too! I bought a lemon, argan oil moisturizer/hair serum/face serum and have already ran out of it! I also bought a small size of perfume and only use it for oh so special occasions, with fear of it running out as well. Now their perfume is expensive, but they have scents that I have never smelled before, seriously. $60 will get you a 30ml bottle of pure perfume (15-40%) concentration of scents...not to be mixed up with eau de de parfum (15-20%) or eau de toilette (5-15%). However I guess if my perfume does run out it gives me another reason to visit this spectacular place. (:

This was a tourist trap. Your tour-guide company probably gets a cut for roping in tourists to tour this place. I've been to so many of these tourist traps ranging from leather, sword-making and glass-blowing factories across Europe. However, this one was my favorite. The fragrances were long-lasting but subtle and unique. This was a trap I was glad to fall into, and I came out smelling great.

Personally, I wouldn't make a special trip to visit Fragonard. It's like the Murano glass factory in Venice. They take you on a tour with the expectation that you may possibly purchase their product(s). Granted they are selling quality products, but it is not worth a special trip.
