12 New Hotels in Greece Opening this Spring - AFAR

"A more affordable option than many of Greece’s coastal resorts, the family-friendly Parga Beach Resort, set amid lush gardens filled with centuries-old olive trees in the northwest of the country, reopens for this summer season with a new restaurant, Kokona, that focuses on the culinary heritage of the Epirus Coast." - Nicola Chilton

I must start with heaping praise on Georgia and Gabriella at Kitron bar. They were the loveliest staff we have ever had the pleasure to meet. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We will miss them. I wish all guests treated all the staff with the respect and good manners that they deserve. ||We stayed in an aura suite room 413 which far exceeded our expectation. Plenty of room, modern and a fabulous private pool with a view of the hills and one of the pools. We were given a fresh bottle of water in the mini fridge daily and the cleaning staff were again so friendly. ||The village feel of the hotel is like nothing we have experienced before and it is utterly charming with rooms nestled like little cottages amongst beautiful planting and the most impressive olive trees. It was a sheer delight to walk through to the beach and the beachside restaurant for the evening buffet.||There is a really relaxing feel to the hotel which enabled us to really relax. No loud music at all hours just a fun Greek night which we watched from our pool area. ||The food for breakfast and lunch was great. Buffet breakfast and coffee served to you with a good solid choice. Lunch was a la carte and the pizzas in the wood fired pizza oven were to die for. Evening meal was a buffet from the beach restaurant and had a good choice but not as wide-ranging as other all inclusives we have stayed at. The plates are whipped away from you a little too quickly though 😂. |Overall all a great experience which ended too quickly

Lovely resort. Top location with views and relaxing experience that are second to none. Hotel rooms are very comfortable all with great views and nice surrounding gardens. The restaurants are lovely settings, a little limited on choice but what is served is nice. Pizza poolside bar surprisingly limited choice. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Beach is stunning and a 20 minute walk into parga (up and steep hill). There is also a water taxi. Mini market nearby is well stocked. Parga town is lovely, lots of choice and a lovely evening out.

Five star service from this far star hotel, staff very attentive and obliging. Breakfast was excellent. The free sunbeds and beach towels were a great touch however a few hotel guests took advantage and reserved beds by the pools and the beach at the same time which spoiled it for others. Several times we noticed guests keeping additional beds so they could have one out in the sun and the luxury of another bed in the shade

The main reason for 3 stars is to represent the actual star rating this hotel should get. Really disappointed with level of service for 5 stars, if you have stayed in 5 star then you know the difference The hotel sells a unique style boutique 5 star resort. However it is not. The breakfast experience is stressful and quality is poor. Small kids running around everywhere. Yes there are some great staff at the front desk, concierge and cleaners all doing great job. The layout and style is really stunning, the garden is gorgeous. Gym is a little out of date and the business area and play area is very poor. Very little/ no areas to chill out or do any remote working unless you want to sit in the restaurant. It’s a good walk to town up a steep hill and a lot of steps downhill, so a taxi was needed. Just overall disappointed and underwhelmed. Would hate to pay full prices in the summer

We booked our stay at Parga Beach Resort through an agency for 4 nights, with breakfast and dinner included (half board). Considering the amount we spent, we were surprised to find that the meals were served in a restaurant with no air conditioning. Eating in 40°C heat was far from pleasant.|Also, the most unacceptable thing was that, unlike other resorts in Greece we have stayed at—even with half board—no drinks were included with dinner during our entire stay, not even water. We had to pay for every bottle of water we consumed.|But there were many positive things as well, like the very kind staff, the cleanliness, the room that was very close to the beach, the garden, and the pools for children.

An amazing beach with crystal-clear water – very clean and peaceful. Mr. Giorgos was extremely helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. His food and drink recommendations were excellent – we especially recommend the chicken club and the Miranda cocktail. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

Overall a pretty great hotel but definitely not anything special. The rooms were clean and nice but again, nothing special, though the shower products and the hair dryer were on the better side according to my own experiences! The service definitely varied from person to person and wasn’t always the greatest… some of the staff would greet you and even remember specific things about you, which was fun, but some on the other hand seemed uninterested in their jobs and didn’t seem to know what they were talking about at all when questions were asked (might of course be the language barrier)… The location was alright for me, but for the hot weather, the city was way too far away, luckily there is a taxi boat that shuttled between the city and the beach, which was handy and cheap! But the beach was nice and clean, as well as not far away, since it is a beach resort of course! There is a limited amount of restaurants nearby, and the food in them was nor the greatest i have tasted either, there was however a couple mini markets around which were handy if you just wanted a snack! The hotel breakfast wasn’t anything special either, but I enjoyed the simplicity of it! (Would recommend for kids, as there were a lot and they all seemed happy. There were equally many seniors though!)

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was perfect and the staff were very kind and helpful. The room was cozy, though I did notice a few small spiders. Also, the price was a bit higher than expected. Still, overall a great experience and I would happily stay again.
