What to Bring: Always carry a valid ID card for security checks at the entrance.

This structure was a great construction of Mughal emperor.Pari Mahal, a historic monument and garden complex located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Also known as the "Palace of Fairies" or "Angels' Abode," it sits atop the Zabarwan mountain range, offering panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. The structure was built by Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh in the mid-1600s and served as a library and an observatory for teaching astrology and astronomy. It features a unique example of Islamic and Mughal architecture, with a design consisting of seven terraced gardens. The gardens are known for their lush greenery, vibrant flowers, water channels, and well-maintained lawns.

Pari Mahal refers to a very old Mughal built palace and the workmanship done in it. This is a palace built in the north-western parts of Srinagar. The view of Dal Lake and the city from Pari Mahal is very beautiful. Situated at a short distance from Dal Lake, it takes little time to reach this palace. There is a road to reach here and you can easily go here by vehicle. To enter inside you will have to buy a ticket first.

₹30/- entrance ticket to be paid in cash. Located atop a hill Has great views of Srinagar city. Heavy security of BSF here. Srinagar being city of gardens has ample of open space & green cover here. From atop u can see a golf course & an helipad. Definitely worth a visit. We visited in November & it was pretty cold

Finally found something decent to visit after all the other gardens, which were practically barren in the winter months with no flowers pr greenery. Good place to visit, great views on a clear day. Need abt 1 hr to explore.

The old Mughal architecture, peaceful surroundings, and fresh mountain air make it a perfect spot for photography and relaxation. Best time to visit is during sunset! Very clean and well-managed. A great place for history lovers and nature enthusiasts.
