If you're looking for a cozy and inviting spot to hang out with your buddies while sipping on a steaming cup of coffee, look no further. This place offers the perfect ambiance for unwinding, catching up on conversations, and creating memorable moments with friends. Whether you’re planning a casual meetup or a long-overdue reunion, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it an ideal choice. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, instantly lifting your spirits. From classic espresso-based drinks to rich, creamy lattes, every sip feels like a warm hug. Pair your favorite coffee with a slice of their must-try Gooey Butter Cake, a delightful treat that melts in your mouth with its soft, buttery goodness. We highly recommend Mom’s Original Flavor, which captures the essence of homemade comfort with its sweet, rich, and slightly caramelized crust. The cake’s irresistible texture and flavor perfectly complement the bold, aromatic coffee, making every bite a heavenly experience. Whether you’re settling in for a long chat, diving into deep discussions, or simply enjoying the company of friends, this café offers a relaxing environment with cozy seating and a laid-back vibe. It’s the ultimate destination to relax, laugh, and indulge in delicious treats that keep you coming back for more.

This is a review of the smoothies at Park Avenue Coffee. The menu and the actual price of the smoothie is off. When I asked, apparently management didn’t print the menu correctly? Also, the ingredients to the smoothie are: peach juice, powdered vegetables, and powdered yogurt. There aren’t actual vegetables in the smoothie. Which made for a pretty bad tasting smoothie. The coffee looked great, I’d just recommend staying far away from the “smoothies”. See the photo…smoothie after 20 minutes.

I'm a huge fan of Park Avenue Coffee, especially in Lafayette Square. It's a small-ish space but the coffee and snacks are excellently handled. Moreover, the atmosphere of their location is perfect. It's*very* relaxed and comfortable with good natural light. Get the Lavender Brown Sugar Coffee while you are there, and try out the savory scones on offer!

Hands down the best gooey butter cake in St. Louis! The cake is rich, buttery, and perfectly gooey..exactly how it should be. The prices for a full cake are super reasonable, especially for the high quality you get. I always end up leaving with at least two, haha! Their cold brew coffee is fantastic! It’s smooth, bold, and full of flavor. And the smoothies? Just as impressive. They’re always fresh, delicious, and a great complement to their baked treats. Whether you’re craving a classic St. Louis dessert or just need a great coffee break, this place is a must visit. Highly recommend!! My one and only complaint is that they close so early, I wish they’d stay open later!

Google
Cute place with good gooey butter cake. Lots of Flavor to choose from. It was fresh! The place is very clean and lots of seating. I had to have gooey cake seeming I was in at Louis and it being the home of. So I looked up places and this one popped up as the best. I was excited and after driving 4 hrs with only 10min before closing we made it. The girl waiting on us was shy and quiet with short answers. Another girl came out and seemed rude an just bossy. I know 10min before closing really but there were other people inside and more coming in as we were leaving. So I don’t think that was the cause of the off customer service. If I had not just been passing through st Louis heading to Branson I would have waited for the next day to visit. But aside from the off customer service food was great and we will stop back by when we have more time an not so last min!

I come here when it’s convenient but to be honest I’m often a little disappointed. The staff is always super friendly. It’s just the drinks can be inconsistent. Maybe I’m Just not the target market, but I wish there were more specialty drinks or just a clearer menu with all the options. My last order was something like a sweet cream cold brew… and the drink was completely white. I didn’t watch them make it so I’m not sure if they were heavy handed with the dairy or what. I thought the price was a little steep too. I got the smaller of the two sizes and after the recommended tip it was almost $8. All in all I feel like it lacks attention to detail. Would love to see them step it up.

Google
Small but nice coffee shop in the amazing Lafayette Square neighborhood across from the park. Looks like they may have an outdoor back patio as well, but it was closed due to time of year (winter). Good coffee and fast friendly service. Since it is so small, it's not the type of place to spend a lot of time there.

Google
I am definitely a new fan! They had multiple sugar-free syrups, the employees were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I loved the atmosphere. I had a very good sugar-free hazelnut latte. Successfully resisted the gooey butter cake, but I did let myself enjoy the smells! Their WiFi was open and didn't require some secret password. Coffee was delicious, no bitterness whatsoever.

Yelp
What a gem in Lafayette Square! This was my first trip to Park Ave Coffee and we were very impressed! We ordered two different iced coffees- a brown sugar latte and a thai coffee. Both were amazing with a perfect combination of sweetness and slight bitterness. Although we had not intended to buy anything else, the chocolate chip scone was too tempting to not try! And it was just as good as it looks! This is a great spot to grab a quick bite or a coffee. Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Super cute, small and quiet! Plenty of off-street parking and in a safe and fun historic neighborhood. We were visiting St.Louis on the weekend & were on a hunt on a Sunday for Gooey Butter Cake, and the people of Reddit claimed this was the place to go... and they were not wrong. They had 3 amazing options, even late in the day! The drinks were very tasty and overall a fantastic place to work, study or just relax. Plenty of sunshine and a fantastic ambiance.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Open to serve during Lafayette holiday home tour. Recommended in the home tour pamphlet for coffee, restrooms and fire pits. A poor excuse for chai latte, poor toilet paper situation, and fire pits not on. Then despite purchasing food and drink, yelled at to leave and shown significant disrespect when standing in line for restroom. Will not plan on returning.

Yelp
Solid coffee place. The barista recommended iced mocha with honey and I ordered it with oatmilk, great combination! My husband got a hot caramel macchiato with oatmilk and it also tasted great. Not like others we tried where it has too much of a sweet caramel flavor. Perfect balance of flavors all around! The shop is also small and cute, a nice place to stop by.

Yelp
Hit up Park Avenue Coffee this morning, and man, what a treat! I was just looking for a caffeine kick, but got so much more. **What I Liked:** - **Iced Coffee Game Strong:** Ordered something with lavender in it, maybe vanilla espresso? Not exactly sure, but it was a game changer. Probably my new favorite iced coffee. - **Cookie Temptation:** Saw some oatmeal cookies while waiting, and I couldn't resist. They looked fresh and tasted even better. - **Fudge Brownie Cake:** Okay, this thing? Amazing. The barista said it was a mix of cake, fudge, and brownie. She wasn't kidding. And major props to her for grabbing a fresh one from the back for me. - **Swift Service:** In and out in less than 10 minutes. That's how you start a day right. **what I didn't dig:** - Honestly? Nothing. It was all smooth sailing (or should I say sipping?). To wrap it up, Park Avenue Coffee didn't just wake me up, it made my morning. If you're nearby, you gotta check this place out!

Yelp
A lively spot to grab a coffee with a nice quiet backyard patio next to Lafayette Square. I usually opt for the Frosted Coffee - it's dog friendly so easy to pop in as I go for a walk in the park. I would give it five stars if they had cozier seating, it isn't a coffee shop I necessarily recommend as a place to hunker down for a study session but could be great for a work meeting.

R J.

Yelp
We live nearby and we have been making a huge effort to go to locally owned/small coffee chains for the past few years now. Coming here was one of our worst experiences. The coffee was only mediocre, but what really mattered was the girl they had working. She was one of the worst people I've ever encountered in customer service, anywhere. Terrible demeanor. It felt like she hated us? Or that we were in her way? We were the only two people in there, and she treated us like an inconvenience. It was the middle of the day on a Tuesday. Kinda weird that she even had a job in such a sector with such foul energy.

Yelp
Great service, excellent coffee, and WOW, the Gooey Butter Cake!! First visit to Lafayette Square, and we chose this for a quick refresher. Good choice.

Abraham M.

Yelp
Coffee is amazing, the service is always poor. Been there on several occasions and staff is always rude, having bad attitudes. I went today and both employees were incredibly rude and smug to both myself and my Mother. I live in the neighborhood and try to support local business but will not return. I prefer not to complain or bad mouth service but today's experience was that awful. The staff was so rude to my Mother, it was so unbelievable it motivated me to create a yelp account!

Yelp
Starbucks and there so-so coffees are everywhere so it is easy to stop there. Lifer St Louisians will say Kaldi all day But...if you want something special... Tucked into a great St. Louis City neighborhood is a tiny hidden gem. The have all you coffee needs from drips to espresso to calories bombs all perfectly crafted by an invest crew. There is a mix of tables and comfortable chairs but space is limited. However what brings me back every time is the raspberry mocha. Brew your way thru soon.

Yelp
Best late I've had in a long time! Get a coffee and stroll through the park! Highly recommend

Yelp
There are great study vibes at this cafe. It's quiet and the ambiance is great, there's good wifi and even better coffee. The brown sugar lavender latte is amazing!

Dakota N.

Yelp
Relaxing, cozy and quick. Great snacks and friendly staff. Bit tricky to get into, but worth stopping in.

Yelp
You think if you spent over $60 at a coffee place, you'd maybe get at little appreciation or at least kindness. Especially considering the over saturated coffee market, you'd think kindness would help you get repeat customers. That was not the case here as we felt like we were an inconvenience to the 2 people working there. So far we've been impressed with the fun, kind service we've had here in St. Louis. This was the first place to buck the trend. I'd suggest taking your business to a place that wants it.

Yelp
This is a cute little coffee shop off of Lafayette square. They had a pretty typical coffee menu with an assortment of baked goods. We really enjoyed the gooey butter cake, and it looks like they have many different flavors! The worker that helped us was very nice and accommodating to our orders!

Yelp
One of my coworkers sent me a delicious butter cake from here and I HAD to rave about it. First of all, shipping cake is incredible. I feel like more bakeries need to do this. It came with instructions on how to keep it fresh for as long as possible and let me know I didn't even need to heat it up. It was awesome! It was packaged super well and the entire cake was still in tact. It even came with a handwritten card from my coworker, which was so sweet. As soon as I got it, I couldn't wait to eat it, but figured I should probably wait for my husband. When we both got to dive in, WOW!!! It was such a perfect cake to eat with my coffee (which makes sense that it came from a Coffee spot, too). It was sooo goey, delicious and tasty!!! Seriously, I keep dreaming about it. If I ever make my way to St. Louis, I know this spot is FIRST on my list to check out and have that delicious cake again. I mean, I should probably just order it again anyway haha! But it was sooo good! Highly recommend it! And again, thank you so much Aimee for sending this! It really does make such a great gift to send to someone during the holidays. Support local, yall!

Alicia S.

Yelp
I've only stopped in to grab and go, but the coffee is very good and the muffins are absolutely amazing. The staff is very nice as well. If I have more time I'll definitely hang out in the cafe, it seems like a great place to work or just have coffee with a friend.

Yelp
Not a ton of seating inside but we were able to get a little table for two when we went about 11:30a on a Saturday). They had some delicious fall flavored drinks; I got a caramel madeleine latte which was divine. The person with me got a PSL and enjoyed it and a bacon/cheddar scone which was apparently also a big hit. We've been to other locations of Park Ave Coffee but it's nice to drink some coffee on a chilly morning while overlooking Lafayette Park!

Yelp
don't know what is wrong with the people of saint Louis but they seem miserable. I went in to park avenue coffee and it took awhile to be greeted or even acknowledged. The female with the burgundy/ red Colored hair had a rude demeanor about her and seemed unfriendly. The female checking me out was ok but seemed confused. Needless to say i won't be back. The coffee and breads were good but it's the negative energy for me.

Yelp
To celebrate 3.14 day, I decided to grab a coffee at Park Avenue. Placing the order over the phone was super easy to do and then when I arrived, I went inside to pay and pick it up. My caramel macchiato was ready at the exact moment that I walked in the door and the baristas were super friendly and efficient. Definitely going to visit again soon and maybe treat myself to a slice of gooey butter cake!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is very nice. They have street parking. The vanilla latte is great and their gooey butter cake is really awesome (get it, you'll thank me later!) Service is quick and friendly and they make good recommendations. To remember my visit, I bought a travel cup and it keeps my drinks hot for hours!

Yelp
It's funny how 2020 has made the little things I used to take for granted so much more special and enjoyable. Had to run a few errands this morning before starting work for the day, and I decided to treat myself to a fresh cup of coffee and pastry while I was out. Typically I make my coffee at home along with my breakfast as part of my new work from home routine. It's just SUCH a treat when I get to go to a shop, support a local business, and get fresh coffee. Park Avenue in Lafayette Square was smack dab in the middle of the route I was taking. I think that typically I forget that this little shop is there. Today, I'm glad that I passed it! Due to COVID precautions you must have a mask on to enter. The baristas were also masked. The furniture they usually for people to sit and read or meet with friends have been moved out. It's kind of sad, but I'm thankful Park Avenue is doing their part to stop the spread. The barista at the register was SO nice. Like really nice. I didn't catch her name, but she really was a bright spot in my morning. I changed my mind on my order like four times. She just chuckled each time, and it didn't seem to mind my indecision. I finally landed on a pumpkin chocolate scone. Park Avenue REALLY excels in the baked goods department. Anything I've ever had is always spectacular. Today was no different. I usually find scones to be really too dry and end up dunking them in my coffee. But today, this scone was delightfully moist. I was nervous that the pumpkin would be overpowering, but luckily it was very well balanced with the other spices. The chocolate was rich! Loved having this sweet treat to start my morning. Park Avenue was also already gearing up for the holidays. The coffee sleeve was red and festive! I ordered the medium roast coffee, not knowing that it seemed to be a holiday blend. Wow, was I surprised!! It had so much flavor. I got a hint of clove that added a lovely deepness to the brew. While I don't look forward to colder weather, I can definitely imagine warming up all season long with this holiday blend.

Yelp
Park Avenue Coffee has a great lineup of coffees for all. Just a plain black cup to a latte' or an ice drink, they have it all. I like coming here with a group or to meet with a business contact. They have a wide variety of items to match up with everyone's taste. I love their lattes. My adult kids love the ice coffees and friends of mine have various choices also. Their desserts are phenomenal. Love taking my wife and kids and friends to the desserts bar next the the cash register. The best ones for me are their gooey butter cakes. In fact, whenever I want to impress a client or bring a smile on the face of someone that needs a bright spot in their day, I ship them their favorite flavors. They are always a winner for everyone! They have established themselves as a St Louis icon.

Yelp
We live right down the road, and love Park Avenue on a weekend morning. They're doing a great job socially distancing, and they all wear their masks. They have GREAT espresso drinks (I could drink their raspberry mocha like water), and their customer service is top notch. The more I go, the better it gets. If you're looking for a local coffee shop, this is your spot. They even have a few tables to enjoy it outside across the street, or take it to go on a walk through Lafayette Park. The most convenient and delicious coffee in the area.

Yelp
Park Ave. Coffee Co. Dale & team offer a wonderful & welcoming take on the corner coffee shop. In the mood for a warm wake-me-up caffeine drink? They've got you covered. In the mood for a caffeinated cold brew? Yep, they gotcha. Want to sit in a relaxing back patio and hangout a bit? You guessed it....they've got you covered. I could go on & on. This is a favorite little local coffee shop of mine, has been for many years. They serve up some of the best gooey butter in the city. Not opinion. That's a fact. Admittedly, sometimes I visit them just for that. I always leave happy. They have more flavors than I can count. I'm a fan. You should check them out. A final note: Their travel mugs are my favorite ever. We got two for Christmas several years ago and we threw out all our other travel coffee mugs and have been using these exclusively for years. They hold up and keep your coffee hot for hours. -------- May 2018

Yelp
What a wonderful place! As an out-of-towner, this was a wonderful place on the corner to stop for coffee in the morning during my trip. Great vanilla latte! And had my first Gooey Butter Cake - thoroughly impressed.

Yelp
Love Park Avenue! It was my go-to spot when I worked in an office so I was thrilled to get to come back. The drinks are delicious and it is the cutest spot to get some work done.

Yelp
This coffee shop is doing a great job with COVID! Thank you for keeping us safe! Plus they serve good coffee and sweets (such as gooey butter cake)!! The service is super as well. I'm always impressed when a clerk can face an endless line while maintaining a happy face with a pleasant tone of voice. Thanks again for keeping us safe during COVID!

Yelp
I have been frequenting Park Avenue lately since my maternity leave. I wasn't that impressed when I tried them years ago but I feel much differently now! The iced lattes are delicious and the flavors are creative. I love that they serve Thai iced coffee and the lavender brown sugar flavor is really nice for summer. The muffins are great I love the cinnamon one and the cappuccino chip is a close second. They have a ton of gooey butter cake flavors which I know they're known for. I'm not a gooey butter cake fan (don't kill me I'm not from St. Louis) but if I were I would definitely stop by here. I wish they were open a little earlier now that I'm back to work but I understand a lot of local coffee shops are opening at 7am since the pandemic.
google avatar

Braden T.

Yelp
The caramel macchiato from Park Avenue Coffee was stellar! It's a great place to visit prior to taking a walk around Lafayette Park to observe the amazing homes. I can't wait to visit again to try some of their gooey butter cake. Parking is curbside. #bradENstl

Yelp
Strong coffee and house made pastries. If you've never tried St. Louis's famous gooey butter cake, here's your chance! Choose from several flavors, or buy a take home kit and make your own. Great for meeting a friend or client. Fast friendly service. Owner very active in the community !
google avatar

Keera G.

Yelp
I came here because I heard that they had the best ooey gooey butter cake. I've never had it before, but it was pretty good! I got the traditional one, but they had so many flavors. I also got the iced turtle mocha per one of the staff member's recommendation. It was sweet but so good. I hung out for a little and studied. They have two tables that would be good to sit at for studying, but there was only one electric outlet by one of the tables. Since the table closest to the electric outlet was taken, I had to sit in an armchair by the outlet. So the layout isn't if you need to charge up. I loved the coffee so much that as I was leaving, I got the iced raspberry mocha to go. It was pretty good, but not as sweet and delicious as the iced turtle mocha. The staff were super friendly too. I definitely recommend stopping by here for some coffee and ooey gooey butter cake.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried two kinds of gooey butter cake while visiting St. Louis since it's a specialty of the city. The cake is like a blondie type texture with a thin crisp top and gooey, fudgy inside. This is a sugar and butter bomb, so bring your sweet tooth and maybe some water to wash everything down! I also got a latte that was fine but I should've just gotten some regular coffee due to the sugar overload. The employees ringing us up gave us their recommendations for their favorite flavors of gooey butter cake. I liked the original better than the turtle version. In my opinion, the cake doesn't need any additional toppings or sugar! Our visit was pre-COVID so we sat inside and enjoyed our treats. I liked being able to try this dessert since I'd never had it, and I always try to find a specialty of the cities I'm visiting. I don't know that I need to try it again in the future, but it was fun to try!

Yelp
I was on a mission to find gooey butter cake, which is a necessity when I'm in STL. I yelped for the nearest gooey butter cake, and Park Avenue Coffee came up as one of the top searches. It was such a romantic, cute and quaint little coffee shop! It didn't feel commercialized with products all up in your face like at major chains. Park Avenue Coffee has a unique drink menu, and you can order non-dairy alternatives to milk such as almond milk and soy milk. I saw that it had its own version of an iced latte called the Park Avenue iced latte, that uses white chocolate as its flavoring. I ended up ordering an Iced Vanilla Latte with almond milk, and it was delicious. I was totally blown away by the variety of ooey gooey butter cake that were made available at Park Avenue Coffee! In addition to original, there were white chocolate raspberry, turtle, triple chocolate, espresso chip, pumpkin spice... and probably more that I can't recall off the top of my head. What's crazy was that the server was rolling off all these flavors like no big deal. I got the original, white chocolate raspberry, and triple chocolate. They were all AMAZING, and they get them shipped in daily from a local bakery. The white chocolate raspberry was by far my favorite flavor of the 3. Definitely will be making Park Avenue Coffee a staple when I visit STL.

Yelp
Got the traditional butter cake. Very, very sweet. Too sweet. Would have been happy with 1/3 the sugar. Although it had a nice sugary crunch all round and corners are slightly chewy. Would not go back, but happy I tried this St. Louis staple.

Yelp
Rating: 4.3 Stars I enjoy Park Avenue Coffee. My favor coffee that they offer is the Grog, and I get it with oat milk. This is a fantastic combination, and I recommend it. I have also had the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffee with oat milk. This is another good flavor. Their coffee definitely beats Starbucks. As for their famed gooey butter cakes, I will say that they are solid. As a gooey butter cake and baked goods lover, I have certainly had better gooey butter cakes. The slices are a little thin for me, but that is my only true complaint. I prefer the various Schucks Bakery gooey butter cake flavors. I have had the Mom's Traditional Gooey Butter Cake, and I had the Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake for my birthday yesterday. I like red velvet, and I actually had a generous serving of red velvet cake from Schnucks at my birthday party at lunch as well. What a wonderfully unhealth day full of red velvet flavor! The Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake slice had a nice sweetness, and the home-made cream cheese icing complemented it nicely. This ice had a nice sweetness. I will continue to compare cream cheese icings to the bad cream cheese icing that I had at Crumbl Cookies on their Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cookie, which was literally just plain, unsweetened cream cheese. Moreover, the Ghirardelli chocolate gooey butter crust was not overwhelming. Finally, I have had their Cranberry Orange Muffin, which is also tasty.

Yelp
Honestly, I heard about this place because I saw a review from the Las Vegas Yelp CM raving about the butter cake she was sent. The butter cake was at a good price and they had a triple chocolate gooey butter cake. It looked good and I knew my sister would appreciate it for Christmas. I had been wanting to send her food anyway, so woot this was perfect. Ordering through the website was pretty easy. I chose original (they have it in gluten free!) and 9x9 for $16.99 (I almost ordered the 9x13 for $22.99 but I figured to start "small" and see how my sister liked it before trying to order a bigger size.) You're able to write a message that they send with it if you're making this a gift, like I was, so that was awesome. The shipping cost was actually more than the price of the cake, but honestly, that's about the price of a USPS priority box, depending on size, so I didn't care. I was still coming out ahead in price. The shipping was about 2 business days supposedly as I ordered on Friday and it was supposed to arrive on the east coast on Tuesday. It actually arrived a day early on Monday! Taste? My sister and one of her daughters LOVED it (some of them don't eat chocolate, sad face). In fact, they went online and discovered there are more flavors of this gooey butter cake and I suspect they may order more. I know I want to order one for myself because my sister got to eat the whole thing (duh, it was a gift) so now it's my turn. I'm nowhere near Saint Louis, but honestly I want to travel here and try out Park Avenue Coffee in person. Until then, it's time for me to ship their gooey butter cake to myself in Nevada and try it out. I already know if my sister approved of it, I'm definitely going to approve of it. Thank you, Kayla for the Yelp review that led me to order this!

Yelp
Average little coffee shop off of a beautiful strip. Not much space but enough to do computer work at a small two top or find some window space. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was fresh but I didn't think it was outstanding. They have extremely enormous rice crispy treat's though I didn't purchase one. I ordered two different varieties of butter cake. I preferred the traditional -it was yummy. The raspberry one I would pass on.

Yelp
Best Gooey butter cakes. I love how they have different flavors: red velvet, blueberry, etc. .. Large variety of drinks includes: coffees, teas, smoothies, etc. I want to try them all...especially the iced coffees. I got their original gooey butter cake with a cup of coffee and it was just absolutely perfect. My friend lives in Boston and since there are no Gooey butter cakes there, she bought 2 boxes to take with her. They do have an online menu where they can ship it to your house, but the shipping fee is expensive. The only thing i didnt like about this place was that the space of the place was small. It was hard to fine seats even though there were only about 10 people in there. Overall, Park Ave is definitely recommended!

Yelp
Park Ave Coffee was delicious! I love Lafayette Square, so from the moment I park my car, I am enjoying my experience on the way to Park Ave Coffee! I always get the Chai latte, and sometimes a baked good, which there are many of, and they are especially known for their Saint Louis gooey butter cake. The service is great, and there are always places to sit. Nice combo of chairs and couches for a homey vibe. Great place to meet with friends or read a book. I live by the Columbia Ave Park Ave Coffee location, and frequent there too. Always a winner coffee shop!

Kim W.

Yelp
Great coffee, good price and I love to support local businesses! Typically better service, atmosphere and selections than Starbucks or other chains offer. Overall, 10/10 recommend Park Ave coffee to everyone! They also have teas, smoothies, and pastries on top of their selection of coffee.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop serving up a St. Louis original. Gooey butter cake. We tried cinnamon, cookie dough, and turtle. I enjoyed all three. The first two reminded me of a blondie, but the turtle was gooey. Nicely priced under $3.00 per piece. It would be nice if they listed the available flavors of the day on a board.

Yelp
We didn't try any of the delicious looking pastries but my husband and I both really enjoyed my turtle mocha and his caramel dulce blended drink. No inside seating at this time but there's a park directly across the street with some tables and benches.

Yelp
Wonderful coffee. Great coffee mugs. Tasty mini blueberry pies. Plentiful seating. Nice outside tables. Friendly baristas. Can't go wrong for your morning coffee stop.

Yelp
Cute neighborhood coffee shop right across from Lafayette Park. Great selection of baked goods, lattes, frozen coffees, tea, coffee, and sparkling water. There is outdoor seating in the front and a patio in the back. I was hoping to refill my water bottle but didn't see a station.

Yelp
Roasted: wanted to check out park avenue coffee downtown since we were staying there but they were out of milk so had to trek up to Lafayette Hill to check it out. Disappointed that this location was out of the flavor I wanted in my latte and more so after the other location being out of milk. Team was friendly enough but it bothers me seeing employees with long hair not pulled back and not washing their hands after playing with their hair. Decor is so so. Highlight of this visit was the latte - it was delicious. I'd come back to grab a latte and go but wouldn't make this my go to place for my daily coffee. Unroasted: walking in we were greeted which is al always nice. The decor does not work for me. The faux leather chairs take up so much room and only two round tables for them. Love the sugar free options for my latte. No latte art and presented it in a to go cup even though we didn't say. The taste was really good. That is the only thing that saves this place and I would recommend as a grab and go place. No extra sugar added

Yelp
Was told gooey butter cake was a must while I was in St Louis and although I don't have a good comparison, this one was amazing! Went with two friends and we tried the original, chocolate, and turtle versions. I think my favorite was the turtle which had a great combo of chocolate, caramel and nuts, but all their versions were so so good! Definitely recommend! Also, the lattes should not be passed up either! They go great with the gooey butter cake.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Love the vibe here and also the amount of menu choices. A lot of places don't offer decaf options, but I appreciate that they do. Got their vanilla iced latte and minus being a little too sweet for me, it's delicious!

Yelp
The BF and I have stopped in Park Avenue Coffee a couple times after leaving Four Muddy Paws. We enjoy walking along the strip, down Park Avenue with all the various businesses, homes and the park. Park Avenue is a cute little coffee shop and they display all their many desserts on the counter at the register, so they immediately catch your eye. The employees are friendly. It's a chill, casual spot. We always just get our goodies to go and enjoy them either across the street in that little seating area with the benches or at home because we have the fur baby. I saw a post about their mini seasonal pies and had to stop in and try one. I've tried their apple, cherry and blueberry varieties. Their pies are absolutely delicious!!!! I take mine home and pop them into the toaster oven to heat the inside. There is nothing like a hot pie to tickle your fancy. Then lately I've been adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top as well. I am in love with their mini pies. They are the perfect size, not too big, not too small, just enough to get that perfect fill. The crust is flakey, the insides are stuffed solid with this amazing filling, which yields the perfect amount of sweetness. I haven't eaten a single bad pie. I was nervous about the cherry and blueberry pies at first, because I am very particular. I have never tried a blueberry pie, so I wondered if I would like it or not and I've found that everyone doesn't know how to properly execute a cherry pie filling. When I tell you Park Avenue Coffee nailed it, I mean they are killing it in the dessert game, let me tell you.....OMG!!!!! The BF enjoys their coffee, he's not a pie guy. My sister is a fein for their Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake, she says theirs is the BEST in town. Since she is a frequent flyer to their establishment, I always have her grab me a pie when she goes, especially since she lives closer.
