Excellent Park Boutique Hotel, Varaždin I recently had the pleasure of staying at Park Boutique Hotel in Varaždin, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The hotel is ideally located in a picturesque setting, right next to a beautiful park, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The interior is modern yet cozy, with stylish decor that makes you feel right at home. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s restaurant. The breakfast selection was diverse and delicious, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients. I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant in the evening, and the food was simply outstanding – a perfect blend of traditional Croatian flavors with a modern twist. The staff at Park Boutique Hotel deserves special recognition. They were friendly, professional, and always eager to assist with any request. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly made my stay memorable. Overall, Park Boutique Hotel is a hidden gem in Varaždin. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers an exceptional experience with its elegant ambiance, excellent service, and top-notch facilities. I stayed one night, both the hotel and the old town was amazing. The food they served in the hotel was excellent. The staff is very friendly and they speak a good English. The old castle, which is famous, is in a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I can recommend it. Stay at least 2 hours walking in the old historical town. There are many hidden treasures.

The hotel is in a great location. Practically in the center. The room and bathroom are spacious. These are good things, but not everything is rosy. They advertise a good breakfast included in the price. That's where we have a problem. The fried eggs were fried a long time ago, the selection of cold cuts and cheeses was poor. The highlight was the juice, which was not drinkable. It looked to me like a bucket of several liters of water into which someone had dropped a little orange concentrate. I recommended to the receptionist that she take a glass of juice to the hotel director so that he could try the slush they offer. Finally, I must praise the waiter who brought me freshly fried eggs at my request.

We had lunch for bigger family. The table (big one) was served and waiting for us at exact time, in quite part of the restoran. Nice atmosphere. Very good meal just in time for our hunger. The stuff was very good, especially main guy which was responsible for our table. Original and tasty food.

Needed to visit some new sites in Croatia and Slovenia so found myself in Varazdin.|There was a "walking festival" on in the evening so the town and hotel were very busy but had a good atmosphere.||Hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel is located in the centre of the town. ||Hotel is very modern with lots of wood in the interior. I was located in a "Park Room" which had a nice view of the local park, was large and spacious with plenty of storage, a big desk to work and great air conditioning.||The bathroom was large, clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries.||The restaurant served good food and the bar had a nice selection of drinks.|Breakfast was ok - small selection of cold meats, cheeses, breads and cakes.||If I have to come to Varazdin again I will definitely stay at the Park Hotel.

Excellent location right in the centre of the town. Modern hotel and helpful reception staff. Rooms were nice on first impression but we found the beds and pillows very uncomfortable. There was a silly staircase which was difficult to go up to the attic room with bags. We were also unable to control the air conditioning in the room. The service in the restaurant was very average and breakfast could have been much better for the price of the rooms. If you stay here bring earplugs as the church bells ring every hour and all through the night!

The two major plus points for the Park Boutique Hotel are first, the very large windows in the dining area overlooking the park area provide excellent atmosphere for dining. Second, the outside seating area is next to the park, and the park, as it is right next to the hotel, provides great leisure in relaxing and enjoying seeing the park area. The hotel is very well managed, very clean, and provides a very good morning buffet. The hotel is located in an excellent area of accessibility to the city center and surrounding area, eg, the castle.

I strongly advise against staying at this. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Its facilities are great, but stay it self was ridiculous. We were there for one night and could not sleep. They forget to mention that the hotel is in front of a church that rings it’s bell every 15 minutes. The room has a automatic tilt window that in our room was left open, and is hidden by the curtains. We thought that the sound isolation was bad, and did not expect to have bels during the night. We found this window open at the middle of the night. Next morning complained with the front desk and their reaction was to say: you should have asked the front desk. Next time (that there won’t be one) you should ask for a room on the park side, those are cheaper because are street side (120€ is too cheap to allow you to sleep). Wee booked a double room, they gave us two tween beds and also said we should ask for double bed next time during reservation. The breakfast included is so bad. The coffee is simply soluble coffee, even though they have a great espresso machine at the place, but to have a decent coffee at the breakfast you need to pay for it. The extra pillows left at the bedroom had no pillowcases, how are we supposed to use them?!?! Not to mention they had a problem with booking and instead of solving their problem themselves, they made us pay a second time with the hope of booking giving us the money back, that is still to be seen in the future.
