"Just off the lake and a short walk from the city center," this "impeccable high-rise" near the Bahnhofstrasse has a reception area with a bamboo garden, a polished blackberry granite floor, and cream-colored leather paneling. Minimalist rooms in warm hues have Italian furniture, deep soaking tubs, and Blaise Mautin toiletries. "It’s all classically understated." Parkhuus has floor-to-ceiling windows and emphasizes seasonal ingredients in pan-European fare such as cream of pea soup and rainbow trout with wild herbs. The wine library is two stories tall and holds more than 3,000 bottles."

Property itself is solid - good, walkable ocation near a major pier, solid cocktail bar, great breakfast experience, rooms are a bit dated but serviceable. ||Stayed in June, globalist - called when we landed to see if we could switch twin to king bed, gave assurances over the phone that this could be accommodated but only at checkin. When we got there, told that we could not - that they were completely sold out and no other room available that night. Check-in agent said when we left he would have the room rearranged (ie beds put together, new mattress) so that it would be almost exactly like a king room. I get to room, twin beds are tiny, and crib requested too high for our toddler. At this point, I check the app and see that multiple king rooms are available. I go back to check in and request a room change as well as a new crib with lower mattress for our toddler. This time the (what appeared to be) more senior agent said there was no point changing the room, that he would ensure the beds rearranged so that it would be exactly as a king. |- We leave for the day and let the team know so that they can rearrange the room|- 6 hours later we return - room is exactly the way we left it - nothing rearranged, baby can’t be put down as the crib way too high so now we have a screaming tired toddler|- Go to front desk - this time Eduardo (someone who clearly has more customer service sense) profusely apologizes and immediately changes our room to a larger room with a crib, and calls to ensure a crib change. Adrian kindly comes quickly to move us out of our room, and Bimi delivers our lower-mattress crib within the hour - these guys saved the stay.|- I spoke with management (Claudiele) the next day, who also apologized and was kind enough to comp our ride to the train station||Overall, expected at least minimal accommodation (esp as a Globalist) at initial checkin, even the exact room with just different bed which was clearly available, and was sorely disappointed with the service received. This was made worse by the failed promises of rearranging the room and delivering an adjusted crib. Thankfully the evening crew (Eduardo, Adrian, Bimi) saved the day, but this definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They could use some lessons from the PH Milan crew.

Stayed there for 1 night and that was a very good experience from start to finish. This is a luxury hotel combines modern elegance with outstanding service, and is located just a few steps from Bahnhofstrasse and the main attractions.||||Our room was very clean, spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every amenity one could need. The bed was comfortable, and the large bathroom was also clean and well equipped.||||The service was great. Every staff member we encountered — from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant — was warm, professional, and very attentive. ||||Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. We also enjoyed a delicious food at the Onyx bar, which offered both a refined atmosphere and delicious snacks.|||| Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!

Google
I had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Zürich. First of all, I arrived at the hotel early in the morning due to my early flight. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and immediately checked to see if there was a room available for early check-in. While I waited in the lobby enjoying a cup of coffee, they got a room ready for me in just about half an hour. I’m very grateful for being allowed to check in early. The hotel’s location is excellent, the room was spacious, and everything is within walking distance — Zürich Lake, Lindenhof, and the shopping center. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Google
Luxurious hotel walking distance to old town Zurich. Spacious and clean room with an amazing shower and tub. We arrived in the room and they had sleepers and a stuffed animal for my son. They also came to the room and brought him some treats (chocolates and cupcakes) which made him feel special. Everyone working at the front desk and outside are very friendly and always willing to assist with everything. Breakfast is not included so if you dont want to eat at the hotel there's a grocery store and bakeries walking distance.

I enjoyed a very nice breakfast buffet with a good variety of options and excellent quality. Above all, the service stood out it was attentive, kind, and always with a smile. We were looked after by Sumar. A lovely experience that I truly appreciated.

Very nice place to stay. Large rooms, convenient location, close to downtown area. The check in process was very quick and easy. The Breakfast was very good! We were able to walk to several places in town. The staff was helpful and friendly..

We had a fantastic stay at the Park Hyatt Zurich. The service was professional, warm, and attentive from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail — from the concierge recommendations to in-room amenities — was thoughtful and high-end. Perfect location for exploring the city, and we really appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel felt despite being so central. Highly recommended for a luxury experience in Zurich!

- Have stayed many times at this property over the years. By a wide margin, this was the worst stay. |- PH Zurich was particularly disappointing this time - quite disorganised and unreliable, which was surprising given usual Swiss standards and excellence. |- Simple requests were repeatedly missed or forgotten altogether. |- Many aspects of the room were not up to standard. The shower leaked into the bathroom, the rooms were loud (sounds easily heard from hallway or outside), the closet light could never turn off, the air conditioner barely worked. It was consistently too hot in the room. |- Staff often did not follow up on basic requests such as ice or luggage. |- Service was unusually poor and uncoordinated in genera; it seems the departments do not coordinate or communicate well together. |- 2 members of front desk staff promised to update regarding a room change; hours later, had never heard back from them. They disappeared. |- Service was largely impersonal and unfriendly, with a few key exceptions:|- Duty manager Marta at least tried to make an effort and to remedy some of the issues. She was professional and proactive. |- Breakfast staff went out of the way to be helpful. Lukas and Natalia, in particular, were excellent. Both were incredibly professional, went out of the way to help, were outstanding examples of service. |- The new members of the bellboy team seemed quite untrained and miserable and lost. The bellboy team that has been there for years were still helpful and attentive |- Overall, not a good stay and service certainly was not at the luxury or 5-star level. Room was uncomfortable and service was often completely lacking.

Yelp
Le Labo bath products? YES PLEASE that alone earns 5 stars !!! Room was nicely appointed with complete toiletries, coffee/tea, slippers, robes, and comfortable bedding and mattress- luxurious towels- Wonderful breakfast buffet with healthy juices- Centrally located - we walked everywhere!

Ac K.

Yelp
The AC in the room doesn't function properly, temperature in May was above 32C, basically you get to sleep in a sauna for $700/night. Hotel management is aware of that and are offering in this 5* hotel a portable air fan to bring to your room.

Yelp
With all my heart strongly I recommend avoiding this hotel. It feels like an entire security operation where the staff (guards) talk down to all the guests and try to enforce the rules as if it is a prison camp. I also saw several acts of religious discrimination as well as racism. This is totally unacceptable in today's day and age. I asked that you'd be an ally and stand against this hotel, until they stand up for what is right, and start providing hospitality and treating all people equally. I tried to report the behavior to seven different people at the hotel and no one asked me a question about it or investigated or apologized. They tried to cover up the discrimination and to hide it. It's time to call it what it is and fix it. Not hide from it. The all white male staff would not understand what it means to be discriminated against but at least they can stop fostering it and become an ally. And maybe even hire diverse staff. And perhaps train staff how to treat all with respect. A sensitivity training could go a long long ways here. Seems like Hyatt globally has an issue here. Time to beef up training especially in Zurich. https://denvergazette.com/news/local/accusations-of-racial-profiling-at-hyatt-regency-denver-prompt-public-apology-from-hotel/article_998ff6f8-acaf-11ed-b0c5-d35682066bbb.amp.html

Yelp
Everyone here is SO nice and coming the last 3 countries, it's a breath of fresh air. The wi-fi is also amazing here! Start getting those Hyatt points people! You won't regret it. No matter what country you are in, Hyatt literally will never let you down. And yes I know I sound like a commercial lol. But it's just so good to be in a Hyatt.

Yelp
Was good but fell short in some aspects. When we arrived, no one offered to help with our bags. The spa was a bit poorly organized. The lobby lounge was fine but nothing special.

Yelp
We stayed here last week on the tail end of our anniversary trip and we could not have ended on a better note. Everything from check in to check out was handled professionally, kindly, and efficiently. We were upgraded to a Park Executive Suite that was amazingly spacious and beautiful with huge windows and a gigantic bathroom with a soaking tub. The crib for our 1yo was a beautiful Stokke with a stuffed animal and plenty of cute baby bath amenities. There was champagne in the room and later some chocolate covered strawberries and a platter of fresh fruit were brought up and replenished throughout our stay. The fruits on this platter were impressive from mangosteen to green guava, each piece, regardless of how ripe they looked or not tasted perfect! We ordered room service several times and every dish was delicious. Each time we asked for directions, or had questions about our flight, restaurant reservations; our queries were always treated with care and efficiency. Every single staff was solicitous, friendly and completely professional. We would love to return to this beautiful hotel in this wonderful city. We could not recommend this hotel more. We have stayed at several Park Hyatts and stayed at 3 during this Europe trip. We consider this to be our top choice hotel and look forward to returning. I would give more stars if it were possible!

Yelp
I've been to the bar here once before for a UCLA Anderson Alumni mixer when the dean was visiting. Fantastic atmosphere and lovely drinks and appetizers. Last night my friend wanted to try the restaurant, and we got a table immediately without a reservation at about 9 pm. The place was filled with businessmen and birthday celebrations on a Thursday night. As in all fancy establishments in Zurich, the staff was quite attentive and spoke very good English. I was amazed at how the girl working the coat check automatically matched everyone's coats to their respective owners after dinner without any assistance. I wonder if she had a secret system to identify the owners of each jacket. The bread came with a pleasant tomato paste. Our sparkling water came in a lovely glass bottle. I ordered heritage angus beef tenderloin from Canada. Grilled, 160g lady's cut for CHF 56 with Café de Paris sauce. Cooked medium, it was quite juicy and tender. My side of hokkaido pumpkin with grilled goat cheese and pine nut honey glaze was rich and heavy and cost CHF 8. I would say the dinner was quite lovely. We got English menus without prompting (probably because we obviously looked like foreigners). The only negative thing was that I got sick right after dinner. Not sure what the cause was though. I don't know if it was just due to exhaustion, or if it was related to the food. My friend also had the steak, but she didn't get sick. My dinner cost CHF 70 without alcohol, so it would have been a nice, fancy dinner... except I got sick at the very end.

Yelp
This hotel deserves nothing less than five stars. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This is for a visit back in late October. It was at the end of our trip through Europe and we were flying back to the States a few days later. As a member of their elite program, I had requested to have an early check in. I knew this was just a request and the Park Hyatt said he would try to meet our needs. When we did arrive, we were unable to check in early but were offered breakfast in the restaurant which was greatly appreciated. We then spent the next few hours exploring the city and returned close to 1 PM to see if the room is ready. At this time I was not feeling so well and luckily the room was ready. We were greeted with the same flourishes I have expected and experienced at other Park Hyatt hotels around the world; the use of names, special requests etc. This visit was no different as we were celebrating a birthday and anniversary. My illness took over and I was unable to leave the room and spent the next several hours resting. The hotel offered to call a doctor which was not necessary. Later that evening a welcome amenity arrived including a birthday/anniversary cake and champagne. It was greatly appreciated however I was unable to fully participate in such a generous gesture. Everyone we encountered was professional and gracious. The room was comfortable well appointed, spotless and beautiful. Aside from the Park Hyatt Tokyo this might be my new favorite Park Hyatt. We will definitely return in the future and recommend to others. It was centrally located and easily accessible to the rest of the city.

Yelp
We ended up in Zurich after an awful flight that was diverted here instead of landing in Paris. The airline was going to put us on a bus to Paris..... another six hours journey.... we decided to stay in Zurich and then go home the next day..... but we had no place to stay. Yelp led us here and what a wonderful experience! The hotel staff upgraded or room, they were so polite, gracious, and professional. What a wonderful stay at a very luxurious location.... Thank you Park Hyatt Zurich!

Yelp
This review is for their hotel. With a one night stay, I did not try the restaurant, bar, spa, or fitness facilities on this trip. My husband and I had a two and a half week trip to Italy and with our airline mile situation, the best deal was to fly out of Zurich Airport. So we made our way up and stayed in the Park Hyatt. I love staying in all levels of Hyatt Hotels so I thought the top of the line would be no different and I was correct! As a treat, my husband treated me to three 5 star hotels during our European excursion and this was absolutely the best. The receptionist was very friendly, offered us late check out and were able to give us early check in. She also gave us a city map and some recommendations. Since we used points, I don't believe we were even in one of their fanciest rooms, but to me, it was an incredible room. Windows with outdoor shades, beautiful furnishings and touches, and even a little fresh fruit basket from the management thanking us for our stay. The bed was very comfortbale and the shower and bath were spacious! There was a very small area in the refridgerator mini bar for personal use which I liked. And with the quality of customer service, I am sure if I needed more space they would have accomidated. The hotel was very centrally located in Zurich so we were able to explore. While we were out exploring, the hotel even restocked us on coffee. The coffee bar in the hotel room was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
I'm always a fan of park hyatts. It is grand and expensive without being stuffy. This one is no exception. We drove, so you can either valet your car for about CHF 40+, park in front of the hotel 8 pm to 7 am for free, or there's a parking ramp adjacent to the hotel that charges hourly rate. We used our upgrade coupon to get 2 suites, which allowed 3 person per room (a well made extra bed was very quickly installed) and the hotel provided a very yummy moist chocolate cake with a bottle of champagne for my mom's birthday. How fantastic is that? Bathroom was huge with a nice modern touch to it. The bellboys were fantastic, considering the fact that we had multiple luggages ranging from hand carries to random stuff in random beat up plastic bags, not once were we made to feel insignificant. Breakfast was included with the room, which is always fantastic. I do have to say the pastry isn't as flaky as they should be (which was a little disappointing, and the chocolate croissant wasn't great either). That being said, just having breakfast provided makes me happy to know that we don't have to pay for a huge lunch afterwards. The hotel is located close to the old town district of Zurich that was easily accessible by foot. Our stay was very very enjoyable, will definitely come back to the park Hyatt in the future.

Yelp
We checked into the Park Hyatt earlier this afternoon... and after 2 weeks on the road, traveling through Europe... we were made to feel like we were home. The receptionist who checked us in, Sophia, was very pleasant, and welcomed us to the hotel. She quickly checked us in, and offered to show us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to a Park Suite. Room is massive, on the 5th floor... and has a living area, bedroom, and a nice sized bathroom. Living room is appointed with Bang and Olufsung TV, and stereo system, a seating area, and a nice work desk, next to a room dividing book case. Bedroom has a very comfortable bed, another B&O TV, and a nice walk-in closet and an area to get ready. Bathroom is also large, with a double sink, closed off shower and WC, and a nice tub highlighted in the room. After dinner, we walked around the hotel, and the ginger bread house caught our eye. When we walked over, Sophia came by and chatted with us. Talking about tea, we mentioned that we missed home made Chai in the mornings... A little while later, when we were back in our room, Sophia sent over chai spices, tea cups and a tea pot. I had mentioned to her that i had a sore throat, and she also sent up some ginger. Beyond everything else, this level of thought and care really makes a tremendous difference. Hotel is great, room is nice, but the service is beyond professional.. it is personal. Looking forward to our next few days here.

The hotel is beautiful and it minutes from the shopping district in Zurich. The staff is friendly and there are lot of food choices in and around the hotel. I will stay here again.

Yelp
I'm usually not one to give five stars because good service is hard to find these days. However we changed our hotel last minute to this one and I'm very glad we did. First off breakfast was included in the room which was great because it's very very expensive here in Zurich. The buffet style is huge and has all kinds of great food to offer. After arriving early we were unable to check into our room, so we checked our bags and went out exploring. Upon returning to the hotel we were met by front desk and concierge employee Miriam. She was very thankful and led us up to our room which we entered to our luggage already in place. She took further time to explain to us the local area, map, and point out recommendations for food and shopping. After going out to dinner, my girlfriend and I returned to our room to find roses around the bed, tub, and a bottle of champagne with chocolate cover strawberries curtesy of Miriam and the hotel with a hand written note. Needless to say it's these types of things that are often lost these days with everyone looking to make a buck. It was very nice to see them make sure they're guests feel welcome and special. A big thanks to Miriam and the hotel for a wonderful time in Zurich.

Yelp
This is an outstanding hotel, in a central location near public transport, with great staff, & very nice spacious modern rooms. Their hotel bar has a non alcoholic mocktail menu which we liked as well. This is truly an expensive 5 star hotel with a hotel room you can actually enjoy & not worry about.

Yelp
-Bar review- White glass wall with clear glass bottles and bright light is worth visiting this bar. Interior is modern and spacious so you can come here after work or business meeting. Drinks are reasonably priced and quite strong so you might need just one drink :) Menu offers some interesting cocktails at under CHF 20. Complimentary nuts are on the bar table. Service is good! PS: There is rumor that this is the bar where you can see Zurich hookers hanging out to look for a client... Come by .. maybe it's your lucky night to see one without going to langstrasse :)

Yelp
Amazing hotel!!! Everything about this hotel was perfect. The rooms are huge and have every amenity you could ever want. The room bathrooms are spacious and no detail was left out. The service here is unmatched and they seem to always be over staffed which is great. Great location walking distance to everything in Zurich. From check-in to check-out I have zero complaints and thank you to all the amazing staff of the Hyatt Zurich. My wife and I had a truly wonderful experience and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
My husband and I were returning from Barcelona to the NY area and our connecting Swiss air flight was cancelled due to technical issues. Although Swiss air provided us with a night at the Hilton close to the airport, we chose to book a night at the Park Hyatt with the intention of checking out Zurich for a day (might as well right?). We were warmly welcomed and luggage was assisted to immediately as soon as we stepped out of our cab. Despite our disheveled looks and despite being the only 2 people not in suits in the lobby, we were not made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in any way. The concierge who checked us in explained to us what we could do in such a short amount of time in Zurich by pulling out a map and circling points of interest and what would be the best route to navigate Our deluxe king was perfectly appointed and not much of a view but it isn't a high rise building so I don't think there is a view in any room I'm assuming. I thought the rain shower area was a bit strange bc it isn't enclosed in any way but didn't pose a problem at all. Little luxuries such as an embedded tv in the bathroom mirror, heated towel racks, subtle night light, high quality toiletries were all appreciated. My husband spent a couple of hours at the gym and said that although small, it sufficed, and the provision of headphones and water bottles were useful. Were I ever to visit Zurich again I would not hesitate to stay here! Hopefully next time it will be during a warmer season. Was NOT dressed appropriately! =)

Toughest steak o ever tried, send it back. Pork chop came under cooked a big no no. Service Great. Only Swiss Wines...

Yelp
We were three adults staying for two nights, and were very pleased with our stay at the Park Hyatt Zurich. We notified the hotel in advance of arrival that we would be arriving quite early, in hopes that they could allow us into our room in the morning, if available. The room was not ready upon arrival, but they allowed us to rest in a clean, temporary room while our room was finished being prepared! This excellent customer service was very much appreciated after a full day of travel from the US. The staff was all very friendly, and we were treated wonderfully during the entire stay. The room and bathroom were both quite spacious and very clean. And the bathtub was very large and comfortable. Room service was very good quality and fast, and the morning breakfast buffet was quite enjoyable, with a good variety to choose from. The hotel is in a convenient location, walking distance to Alstadt, the Limmat River, Lake Zurich, and other sites. I would stay here again when returning to Zurich and definitely recommend to others.

Yelp
We stayed in a suite with a toddler, so that worked out well. As for the hotel room, stunning, incredible interior design and very nice furniture! The hotel overall is stunning with superior staff all around! Location is top notch, too!! The Spa and women's and men's spa bathrooms have a steam room, sauna and a shared resting room! A great mid-day retreat to rest and relax! Hotel food was excellent. We did a lot of room services....and glad we did. Even the fine attention to detail to how the food was presented is what makes this hotel a top notch/five star. They are so attentive to the tiniest details, which I noticed and loved! They gave us toddler shampoo without us even asking for it! That's just huge to me! And the staff was so sweet to my toddler. That's another big factor for me. The hotel manager should be proud of ALL his staff. Hotel is very well run and cared for from all areas. I will be back.

Yelp
The best hotel service ever! I have never been escorted to my room and shown exactly how everything works. Additionally, we arrived early and our room was not ready, they let me know where to find some coffee shops and when we came back an hour or so later they remembered my name and that I was waiting on my room. The luggage was in the room when we arrived. I happened to check out on my birthday and they gave me a nice box of chocolates ----- AWESOME!

Yelp
Awesome hotel. The nightly rate was over $800 but thanks to the Hyatt Gold Passport program, our two nights were free. It's located about a block from the lake and is walking distance to everything in the city. The tram (which is great for getting around) is also about a block away. Upon arrival, one of the front desk personnel will personally show you to your room and make sure you know how to use all of the amenities. They also bring you fresh fruit daily. Just note that if you move stuff around in the mini fridge, the sensors will automatically charge you instantly. Of course the front desk will take items off your bill that you didn't take but were accidentally charged for. Overall a great experience in a fantastic city!
