Park Inn by Radisson Uppsala

In general quite good hotel but: -Bathroom should be renovated -We booked for 4 people (we have 2 kids) and there was only 3 beds in the room. We had to ask for an extra bed at the reception. Then we realized they gave us only bed linen, so we asked for a duvet but got only a thin blanket. Finally I had to put my coat on the bed otherwise it was too cold for my daughter. Good breakfast.

Forget trendy, go with quality and service. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The included breakfast only adds to the great value of this hotel, especially compared to U.S. standards. And don't forget the lager, it's expensive in Sweden, but was the best value was here.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff, excellent location and a small but cozy lobby. Rooms are clean and comfy. The place has some minor wear and tear, but it's well maintained. It lacks the impersonal, sterile perfection of more luxurious hotels, but for me, this is actually a great plus. Highly recommended.

3-star maybe. If it's warm outside, book the neighbouring hotel instead. Price difference is small and you'll get as pleasant stay in Uppsala. Park Inn oss old and three ventilation system is too. Your only option is to borrow a fan. Otherwise they have a standard breakfast (same selection as most hotels in same price range in Sweden) and good location.

Simple cosy hotel, just 10 minutes from Uppsala Central Station. Nice single room with a large bathroom for two. Fantastic breakfast included. Highlight: fresh unsalted bacon...delicious. Do they have a pig farm in the back? Just a crack of the hall mirror in our room, oversight

Located in the central part of Uppsala. Great buffet breakfast. Nice smoking space. Clean rooms and kind services. I love that hotel because of easily accessible to all famous places of Uppsala.

I'm in Uppsala for a long weekend and this is a perfect hotel for that. It's nicely furnished, the breakfast is great and the staff are lovely and more than happy to help. I've stayed in the Radisson Blu down the road and I would say this hotel is on par with that. I'd suggest a superior room if you want a bit more space and a bath tub too!

Very comfortable bed and lovely room, but there was no airconditioning. Which you hardly ever need in Sweden. I was just unlucky to be there during the heatwave. Location is great!

We stayed here for one night while in Uppsala. It was pricey ($200/night on expedia and we booked it in advance). Pros: Minutes from the Uppsala central station Large room for Europe Fairly large bathroom Free breakfast (not the best but fine) Soft beds Good tv channels Within walking distance of a delicious pizza place (mmmmm kebab pizza!!!) Cons: The room was a little stuffy because there was no AC (there were NO ACs at any of the hotels in Sweden & Denmark). Not much to do around there Overall, a decent hotel if you need to be close to the train station. Service was friendly and the rooms were very clean.

I have stayed here at the Park Inn several times while staying in Uppsala. It is on the edge of the center of Uppsala, so it is easier to get to from the airport and more convenient to the office parks in Boländerna and Fyrislund and it is across the street from the train station. If you want to go the restaurants in the center of town, those are about a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are typical Swedish fare: sparse, clean, small beds, and just enough room for a business trip. I would not want to try to stuff a family in one of these rooms, but for me it was ok. The bathroom is well appointed as well. Breakfast (included with the room) is a pretty decent continental spread. They also serve dinner here as well, which over the years has swung back and forth from mediocre to excellent - I guess it depends on who is running the kitchen. The desk staff is excellent. They are very friendly and professional. There are only a few hotels that I choose when I am in the area and this is one of them.

I like this hotel, and we have stayed here several times. It's nice and quiet, the beds and bathrooms are very nice, the location just behind the railway station is convenient, and the breakfast is great. They also serve a fine dinner, as well as drinks and stuff to nibble on in the evening. The building was originally for some sort of manufacturing, which explains the sometimes unusual layout. Parking can be an issue: if you are sufficiently early you can have one of their spots, and you're good. If not, well, you are relocated to street parking, which may be just outside the door, but you will be ticketed if you don't pay enough. Anyway, obviously I'm quite pleased with this hotel and they will surely see me again, before long.
