Park Place Lodge

Great value for money - close to the hill & restaurants and free breakfast. The pub beside the hotel is amazing. They have a pool, hot tub, and sauna. The main concern is the noise. We were on the first floor as we had a dog with us and those are the only pet-friendly rooms with the hotel. You will hear EVERYTHING. If you are trying to sleep early to have a good sleep for your ski day and you’re on the first floor - good luck.

We stayed just 1 night, passing through town. Friendly and efficient reception. Lovely pool and lobby area. Rooms were basic, but good amenities with fridge and sink. very clean. Nice shower and bathroom. Good location - can walk to everything in town. Did not notice road noise although we faced major highway. Good buffet breakfast. Nice to see dining room with original Canadian art on the walls. Would stay again.

I’ve stayed here almost every time I’ve stayed in Fernie. The location is great not directly in town meaning it’s less busy but only 10 mins max to walk to downtown. The pool is in a weird space but honestly it’s beautiful setting and makes it really great. The service is great and efficient when responding back to my emails and questions. And it’s great for assisting when there’s an issue. I’m coming back this new years and I definitely recommend staying here whether it’s a longer stay or even just stopping by. Very much appreciate the experience I’ve always had here the past years.

The room was nice. The pool was great. The breakfast was good. The young man working front reception last night around 7pm was very rude, aggressive, and lacked basic communication skills.

Super cute and cozy hotel! Stayed here last year and absolutely loved the pool. It’s so cool how it was right in the lobby. Only thing I would suggest is a restaurant on site and/or a breakfast option. The location was really good very close to the center and the views were so nice from the room! beautiful mountain views. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Parking was also easy and there were lots of spots . Super cute and cozy hotel in Fernie would recommend!

Very clean rooms, also had a balcony which is very nice. Pool and hot tub were a great touch right in the center of the hotel. Only complaint is you can hear the kids swimming right outside your door and parking is slim to find when they're fully booked.

10/10 this was a fantastic stay! The pool and hot tub were great, the room was fantastic and super clean! The location is great. Right on highway 3 but we didn't hear the traffic go by at all. Its also only a 5 - 7 minute walk into town. 10 minutes max to anywhere which is great! My husband is a wheelchair user and the lodge is very accessible....minus maybe the bathrooms in the rooms. Other than that we will definitely be back again!

Absolutely admire and love this establishment. - All the amenities you could need and then some. - Rooms are always clean and comfortable. - Gym, Pool, Hot Tub, Pub, Liquor Store, Restaurant. You literally wouldn’t have to leave for anything.

After spending a lot of money on sometimes spartan hotel accommodations and very average meals in Glacier National Park and Waterton's Prince of Wales Hotel, we really appreciated the Park Place Lodge. Besides being a great value, we loved the comfort, the amenities, the pool and hot tub, the best complimentary hotel breakfast we've had in a long time, and the friendliness of the staff.

This place is beyond amazing. I stayed there for a couple of romantic occasions with my soon to be wife. I must say nothing was left to desire. The rooms we stayed in were very nice. Some of the most restful sleeps I have ever had. The views are amazing, breathtaking even. The staff are friendly and the services are many. The hotel's decor definitely reflects the 4 stars it has earned. we will stay there again! While there, one must also try the restaurant nearby as it offers some tasty meals. Our group of 8 touring bicyclists stayed here on July 10, 2017. Kelly and staff were very welcoming to us upon arrival after riding 60 miles. They accommodated our needs and made us feel at home! We highly recommend staying here while you explore Fernie and the surrounding area.

Stopped overnight in Fernie and found a vacancy at this hotel. It was well appointed, clean and with above average finishes. Only downside was we asked for a quiet room and were given a room facing the Main Street, which wasn't quiet. A reasonable value for the money and the front desk person was very welcoming .
