Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing

"Located in a commercial and shopping district minutes away from the Imperial Palace and Tiananmen Square, this hotel is "an easy walk to most anything you might be looking for." The contemporary decor is "clean, simple, and elegant, very pleasing to the eye," while guest rooms have warm neutral tones, floor-to-ceiling windows, and "all of the accoutrements of any hotel in Europe." Ooodle Restaurant serves up Asian noodles and northern Chinese dishes in a setting with wooden floors and high-backed leather seats. Head to Bloo Dining in the early evening for "an ample buffet" of international and Asian cuisine and views of Beijing’s skyline at sunset."

Our recent 6 nights stay at Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. 1 of the rooms smelled like cigarettes but when I mentioned to the front desk they cleaned it immediately the next day. They have options for pillows which is great. The hotel staff also decorated the room with balloons and gave my child a birthday bear when I mentioned about his birthday on one of the days. Special mention to all the front desk staff who were very helpful including the concierge. Housekeeping was efficient and responsive. Location is convenient being close to subway, shopping and food options. There’s also a 24 hr convenient store across the hotel. Overall, staff is polite and helpful and breakfast at the hotel was also quite good. A great hotel overall for a family vacation. I would return to this hotel if visiting Beijing again.

Excellent hotel to stay in Beijing! The room is clean and comfortable and the service is great! There is a laundry room to do your washings for free! It's super convenient! We've only had the breakfast buffet, which was good, but they also serve dinner. For the cigar afficionado like my hubby, there is a well stocked cigar shop in the lobby with a knowledgeable and helpful salesperson. Highly recommended for staying in Beijing with less than 10 minutes walk to Wang Fu Jing.

I had a pleasant stay at Park Plaza Wangfujing during my recent trip to Beijing. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located near major attractions and public transport, making it a great base for exploring the city. The staff were courteous and professional throughout my stay, and the room was comfortable and quiet. However, I did find the pricing to be on the higher side, especially considering that it is a 4-star property. While the amenities and service were good, they didn’t quite stand out in a way that justified the premium. That said, if location and cleanliness are your top priorities, this hotel is still a solid choice.

I have stayed in this place 4 separate times and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The staff are great, they speak English which was a bonus. The rooms were spotless and place was a pleasure and a joy. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Beijing. It’s close to the Metro System, easy to walk to the shop and get around. A wonderful experience

Location was good, right in the heart of the city centre. This means that you’re (mostly) in rather close proximity to the attractions e.g. forbidden palace, and the malls; but it also means that the area is prone to traffic jams - so do factor this into your travelling plans if you intend to take taxis / Didi around (as I did). Housekeeping was fine, no complaints. The star of the stay was definitely the concierge desk, which was extremely helpful. In particular, Yuelong Wang and another gentlemen with the last name Jia (apologies if I got his last name wrong). They was fantastic - from answering our queries about how to get around, how much time to buffer for traffic jams (which are pretty common), where to go, what kinds of souvenirs to get etc.; to collecting and holding our parcels and deliveries and safekeeping them. They were also extremely attentive - when we were out of the hotel, they held our parcels at the desk; whereas when we returned to the hotel (and they noticed when we returned), they automatically sent up the parcels to our rooms without us having to request for it. Service was generally also great. I told the front desk that I would be arriving early, and they let me check in at 12pm instead of the usual 3pm; they also allowed a slightly later checkout when I informed them our flight was later in the day. Would not hesitate to recommend Park Plaza, and to stay here again in the future. Special mention again to the concierge desk, which made this stay much more enjoyable.

The location is next to the metro subway. Super convenient. Wangfujing street, forbidden city and Tiananmen square is within walking distance. The room is spacious and comfortable. There is also a complimentary laundry room for use. Overall, my 7 nights of stay in the hotel was a pleasant one. Thank you.

Location is quiet good, about 10min to walking street Wangfujing. Many thanks to Kevin Li for help with our room. Good advantage is self laundry service 24/7, free dinners (for our room) and free mini bar with soft drinks (in fact we didn’t knew it during our stay). The restaurant doesn’t walk late and it is a problem to order early breakfast. The hotel is a bit tired and need to be renovated

Conveniently located in the eastern inner quarter of old Beijing. Nearby is the Shijia Hutong Museum, recommended for those who want to have an understanding of Hutong history and the courtyard houses. Some plus and minuses, there is a self service laundry room however the twelve oldd washing machines and dryers are fully utilized in the evening. So choose your laundry time wisely. One of the dryer was down but left unrepaired.Eateries, catering to the local residents and tourists alike are conveniently located. The hotel staff is generally polite helpful and friendly.
