Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam

Our experience was outstanding from the initial greeting! We arrived early in the day and easily checked our luggage. We were promised an early and they were right on time! The room was clean, quiet, modern and comfortable. It was so comfortable we slept right through the breakfast hour. Great experience!

The hotel is in a great location and has a nice bar in the lobby. The bartender was fabulous, remembered faces and drinks! The rooms were sparse, not much storage space and all lights were controlled through panels that were difficult to navigate. The hotel is eco conscious offering a coupon (Monetary credit) for deferring housekeeping for three days. However, they are not explicit in where the credit can be used, which was frustrating. They stated the credit could be used in the restaurant, but when we went there for breakfast we were told it wasn’t usable there. We were then told we could use it at the coffee shop next door which we had already visited. The breakfast is a buffet which was mediocre at best. The concierge were very friendly & helpful.

We had a very disappointing stay here. My parents and I booked a suite with views for their 40th anniversary trip, while I stayed at a nearby hotel. I let the hotel know in advance that it was a special occasion, but unlike every other hotel on our trip (Paris, Barcelona, Athens), there was no effort to make the stay memorable - not even a simple welcome letter. The biggest issue happened at breakfast. Because my parents don’t speak English fluently, they were turned away at the door. Even after I got on the phone to explain, the staff still refused to let them in until I walked over from my own hotel in the pouring rain. This was incredibly embarrassing and upsetting, especially on the morning of their anniversary week. At every other hotel we visited in Europe, staff went out of their way to be welcoming and respectful regardless of language barriers. Unfortunately, this experience showed a real lack of hospitality and cultural sensitivity. For such a milestone trip, I expected much better. I expect thorough training on how to treat elderly people with respect. So, so disappointing.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the services provided were top-notch. A special thanks to Maria, who was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. She made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. The room offered an amazing view that made every morning feel special. The location is absolutely perfect, everything I needed was within easy reach, making my trip both relaxing and convenient.||The breakfast experience was excellent, with variety and delicious options to start the day right. What really stood out, however, was the service. I would like to give special thanks to Fatima who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Pro’s: great location. Good size shower. Hotel clean. Con’s: not good service. Front desk people acted annoyed to be helping you. They offered a ten euro certificate to skip housekeeping. They didn’t say there were a zillion restrictions on using it. Couldn’t use it for breakfast? Or at bar for drinks. Rooms had very weird light tablet system to turn everything on and off.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the elegance and charm of this hotel! The interior design is simply breathtaking—tastefully decorated with luxurious touches that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every corner felt curated, from the plush lounge areas to the artful lighting and cozy rooms. What truly made the stay exceptional was the staff! Definitely will come back!

Really enjoying the stay at Park Plaza. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic and the room is great - like the smart hub the operates the different lighting and opening and closing of the curtains. Breakfast is awesome- lots of variety and highly recommended getting the omelette. I had two as it was that good. Also like the variety of side veggies and garnishes you can add to your plate. A very smooth and efficient breakfast service in a relaxed environment. Dinner service they've just started doing steaks and the rib eye was on point. Additionally, the use of the gym, pool and sauna is fantastic. The gym is spacious and has enough equipment for a thorough workout. All in all a great stay.
