Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin (Berlin, Germany) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Berlin may very well be the hipster capital of Germany, and possibly all of Europe. But there’s still business that needs to be done. Still, there’s no reason why the business hotels shouldn’t have a bit of fun. What makes the Park Plaza Wallstreet unique is that its particular idea of fun is in exaggerating, rather than obscuring, its big-business leanings — it’d be impossible to walk across the dollar-print carpets, for example, without picking up on the Wall Street theme." - Tablet Hotels

Warm and welcoming reception from the moment we arrived. The room was perfectly organized, spacious, and offered plenty of storage options with several compartments and accessories. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches: chocolates and bottles of water waiting for us in the room. The staff took excellent care of us throughout our stay and even offered an early check-in at no extra charge. The breakfast was fabulous—delicious and varied. A wonderful experience overall!

I traveled with my dad and this hotel was a great choice mainly for the position. It has been a lovely stay, the place was clean and quite. Staff was very nice and always available. The only thing I was really disappointed with was that there was no gluten-free food at breakfast. Since it's a 4 star hotel I was expecting some bread maybe, but they just had some mixed nuts. Overall it was a good experience.

This hotel is funky. In a good way. It’s a no vibe. The location is awesome, the staff are friendly, and great, it’s clean enough. There is a lovely sauna, a great bar, funky elevators… it has character. They gave us a place for our bikes, and are storing our bike bags until we come back from our trip for free, which is amazing. Our room was bright and sunny. This was a great place for us to land in Berlin. We had everything we needed. There is also a wonderful little coffee shop a few doors down.

The hotel is kind of an odd one, everything was fine but it’s all a bit out-dated and has some weird quirks. The biggest being that on booking.com they advertise A/C but they actually don’t let you use it until May. We stayed mid-April when there was a 27 degree sunny day, and the room was so hot even with all the windows open. I rang hotel service at midnight asking if they could turn the A/C on but they said no, they did manage to find a fan to bring me which helped though. Our room was also down 4 corridors from the elevator and there was no way to get the stairs there as they locked from the outside. It was fine, and okay for price as it’s a bit cheaper than others in the area, but there is a reason for that.

Hotel Review – Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed for 4 nights on a girly trip and had a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. I got there early and asked if both our rooms could be near each other, the young man at the desk was incredibly helpful and sorted it out within minutes. While we waited, we enjoyed complimentary cold lemon water and chocolates in the lobby, a lovely touch. Our rooms were spacious, light, and airy, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Each had tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and a safe. The hotel also provided water bottles for all guests, which was really appreciated. The location is brilliant, close to the underground and within walking distance of the canal and Museum Island. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay in Berlin!

Location: Close to tram stop on U2 line. Just across from museum island. Not lots of restaurant options nearby if looking to stay amongst it all (I wasn’t). Room: Money theme styling (a nod to Wall Street I assume). Nice towels. Spacious shower. Bedside shelf with power point flood for charging. Complimentary bottles of still and sparking water provided. View from top floor at sunset a bonus. Service: 24/7 reception. Elevator.

The hotel, it's in an excellent location. Centric and near to railway and metro and yet quiet and calm. Easy to walk to most of the best city spots. Next to U bahn, boat tour by the Spree river, Berliner dome or Checkpoint Charlie. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we need. For us, the most valuable was the Nespresso at the cupboard, enjoying the first coffee of the day in the room. We only taste the breakfast and it was amazing. I was new to German food, and it was a very successful first experience. Coffee machine made it well, there are many sweet and savoury options to choose from, cold or hot. Everything fresh and handmade cooked. Salted quark with herbs, a variety of breads, boiled or scrambled eggs, cold cuts, variety of cheese, etc... I was very surprised by the quality of all the food and the variety of German cuisine, even more so in a hotel. Finally, the best, the staff. Friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond what we expected. Also German, English and Spanish is spoken.

We were quite disappointed with our stay at Park Plaza Berlin Mitte. Despite the name, the hotel is not actually in Mitte and is not within walking distance of most major sights you'd want to see in Berlin. After staying in a much more central location earlier in our trip, this felt like a letdown and really put a damper on the rest of our stay. While it’s conveniently close to a train station, which helped with getting around, the overall experience fell short. The hotel itself felt dated, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was really off-putting. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel—especially if you’re hoping to explore central Berlin easily on foot. There are better-located and more inviting options available.

Yelp
Rooms are small but clean and functional. Breakfast is a buffet style with good selection of meats, fruits, breads, and yogurts. Right next to the markisches museum (U2) subway stop which is very convenient. The neighborhood immediately around the hotel is quiet with very few restaurants and shops. The wifi is absolutely horrible. I paid for it, but it is so slow that it is basically unusable.

Yelp
Good solid hotel in a nice area of Berlin. Quiet street, not far from lots to do and see. A bit strange visiting old East Germany and opening the door to your room to find a giant dollar bill rug, but I've had worse surprises. Rent a bike and ride around the city, try to see as much as you can!

Yelp
This was the first hotel i stayed in Europe, I was very disappointed at the room size and how simple the room is furnished. But later I got used to the European style hotel room, and realized this hotel was not that bad. Easy accessible location, as it's close to a subway station, only two stop away from Alexanderplatz station. I also enjoyed their breakfast during my stay. Btw, the front desk sells stamps, so I was able to mail my postcards right from the hotel.
