Yelp
Had dinner at Park Slope Ale House on Wednesday night. This local pub upped its food game making it a nice place for dinner when the game is on.
Quality: Park Slope Ale House has made some recent changes that make it a much more attractive spot for a bite, a beer, and to watch a game. I started with a cold beer from their draft list, which has a lot of familiar local breweries. The Mozzarella Sticks were a solid choice as an appetizer. The Ale House Burger was good as well, simple and tasty. Appreciate lots of pickles, and the fries were fantastic.
Quantity: The Burger was on the smaller side, but the pile of fries it came with were substantial.
Value: $7-$8 for Draft Beers. $12 for Mozzarella Sticks. $18 for the Ale House Burger.
Ambiance: Park Slope Ale House has been a staple of the Park Slope area, but recently received a make-over. The menu is expanded and the space cleaned up. It still has that local pub charm, but the food is a bit more refined as is the drink list. They have three televisions above the bar seating, a row of tables inside, and a few more tables outside, for when the weather warms up.
Crowd: Busy on a Wednesday evening. The bar completely filled up as did most of the tables. It is also family friendly.
Service: Friendly bartender, but clearly they are new to the sports element of multiple televisions. They changed away from basketball games, which guests were clearly watching without really noticing.
Parking: Limited parking in this residential area.
