Park Theatre

It’s a great little theatre running two shows. One in the main theatre and a second downstairs in a smaller space. For theatre goers looking for a more intimate space at a decent price and it’s an 8 min walk from Finsbury Park Tube. What’s not to like.@mimramcam

What a wonderful little theatre . A great venue. Really friendly staff. Relaxed and charming. Intimate auditorium. The performance I went to , 'My Cosmic Dust' was great adding to the positive view. Lovely little bar/cafe/pizza hub. Short walk to buses and tube. This place deserves to be supported as much as possible. What an asset.

Nice local theatre in Finsbury park. I have been to see a few plays over the years.

Wonderful little theater with great entertainment options flowing through. Bar and ticket staff were friendly. They have pizza available while you wait for the show to start. The theater is intimate and laid out well, maybe too well. You are so close to the stage, it almost feels like you shouldn’t be watching. Like some kind of voyeuristic fever dream.

This venue is absolutely worth a visit. Only a few stops from central London, go and experience the magic of 'small' theatre. I have seen so many shows here (all amazing !) and the recent Dracapella is certainly no exception. You must get this one on your Christmas list and make the trip, it will be worth it ! The staff are super friendly, there is a real local community vibe about the place and all the casts and crew always seem so passionate about what they're creating and it really is magical ! GO GO GO !

Great theatre, nice bar/pizzas. Really needs more women's toilets! Big queues for the ladies. Lots of innovative productions many of which I am sure will go onto be big! See them here for £30 not on the west end for £100!

I’m a regular at this theatre all the staff no me coming from South Africa where there is a theatre like this it’s a home away from home for me tonight I befriended the theatre manager David at the Meat kings of Brooklyn heights he made me feel welcome along with all the staff go an hour before the show to enjoy their pizzas

Terrific intimate theatre,where you can get a hand made Pizza in the foyer.

A very intimate theatre stage and rustic very unique. No matter where you sit you will get a good view. I love the fact they also have a nice cafe area where you can buy a nice homemade sandwich , cake or soup. I went along and saw Raising Martha the play was quite interesting even though I got lost in parts but there was a lot of tongue in cheek jokes that kept me interested in listening out for those. The second part of the play was better than the first.

I came to see a show called 'The Quiet House' which shares the story of a couple working through fertility issues and making the decision to try IVF. A heavy and emotive subject and, even thought this was in the larger of the 2 theatres with 200 seats, this equates to just 3 rows around 3 sides of the stage so makes for a very intimate setting; a setting that suited the topic well. A 90 minute production with no intervals made the roller coaster journey unrelenting and very real. You may not think such a topic could provide laughs but, before it made me sob with sadness, it made me weep with laughter. This production is so beautifully portrayed and all the actors (a small cast of 4) gave such strong performances establishing the feeling of their pre existing relationships and what felt like just a glimpse into a life that existed before you arrived and will continue once you go. If this is the standard to expect from the Park Theatre I will defiantly be visiting again and if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the West End hype then this may be for you. I have to say all the titles of the shows really intrigue me.

Located just behind Finsbury Park underground station and bus station, so very good location, transport-wise. Easy to get to. A bar downstairs and a bar upstairs with space outside, and decent food and drinks. The day I went was a warm day, so they were offering pimms and lemonade for a fiver and we sat outside enjoying the sunshine and people watched, before our show. The Park 90 was a very intimate space and the seating was in a u-shape with the stage in the middle so you were literally next to the actors, and could almost touch them! The setting and props worked really well in the small theatre for this play, The Glass Protege, tickets for the press night was £18 for a pre-drink, show and after party which was a fair price. Show is running until 9 May. Brilliant performances, a sharp script, and unique story, in a lovely fringe theatre. Recommended.

Came along to see the 2015 Script Accelerator - the three extracts I saw were great, and the stage is thrust so the audience feel quite connected to the action. Unfortunately we sat right by the only speaker that was playing music (stage right!) so we couldn't hear some of the dialogue. The bar just inside the entrance is nice - a basic seating area but the staff were lovely and helpful, and the food was actually really tasty (I had a quiche with green salad). Not badly priced either (I had said food plus an Aspall cider for a total under £10). I really liked the atmosphere of the place, it felt inclusive and supportive - the Script Accelerator is a great scheme too. Plus the creative director had her dog with her, who was a real character and stole the show during the q&a session! I'll be back :)

This place rocks! My bf has a play there right now, and oh, how I wish I could've made the trip over! It looks amazing, and they really have such great vision, cheers and bravo! The American Wife is playing until Oct. 1st, bravo to all involved!

Absolute theatre gem! Small local theatre in Finsbury Park with modern interiors, two theatre stages and a beautiful coffee/drink bar. Each theatre production is excellently prepared making Park Theatre the absolute destination for every theatre lover for off West End productions.

Saw a new musical "This little Life of Mine" ..It was very good,great acting ,and wonderful music...The lighting was superb.I hope this musical goes on the West End!

New theatre space in North London comprising two auditoria - Park 200 and Park 90 (the numbers relating to the seating capacity of each) and a workshop/rehearsal space. Very modern with a light and airy ambience. There's a cafe bar which makes a great social spot. The theatre even boasts it's own dog complete with Twitter page! The staff are enthusiastic and friendly. I look forward to future theatre outings there.

This place is a mess. They had market stalls outside AND INSIDE! It just made the space feel tight and overcrowded. Getting to the bar to pick up the pre-ordered tickets as well as ordering a drink was hectic. The theatre itself is small but that should not have been a problem. I have seen excellent plays in much smaller spaces. The play we saw was "Fog". The acting was good but the play itself was amateurish.
