Park Hotel (Boppard, Rheinland-Pfalz) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The lovingly designed one-off rooms here at the Park Hotel are themed – including New York, Renoir and Afrika Lodge – and for something a little more spacious, try the junior suite or the "alcove" rooms. There is also a beauty and massage parlour while the modern EssBAR serves a small range of dishes to residents only." - Tablet Hotels

Booked this quite last minute for our party of six. Clean and comfortable rooms, quite small but had everything we needed. We were greeted at reception by a friendly gentleman but there were no staff on duty and the restaurant was closed (no breakfast either). The hotel gave the impression that it was shut for the season.

Highly recommend. Clean and chic hotel with comfortable beds. Extra pillows were conveniently available. Restaurant/bar had upscale feel without upscale prices. Quiet surroundings. Private parking was easy and convenient. All in all, a very good value for the price.

My brother came from America for my nephew's wedding and spent 3 nights at the Park Hotel. He was very impressed about the friendliness of everyone at the hotel. He also found the rooms very clean. Not only that, but he will definitely stay here when he comes again and recommends the hotel to everyone.

My wife and I spent two nights at this nice little hotel. We do not travel very often in Europe, but we wanted to spend some time in a village instead of a larger city. We also wanted to visit castles and see the outdoors. This was a perfect place. We traveled by train, and were a little worried about getting to the hotel from the train station, but it was about a 10 minute walk, and it wasn't bad at all (although a little uphill...). We could probably rode in a cab, but we decided to try it. ||||Boppard - Bad Salzig was very small village with cobblestone sidewalks, and beautiful houses. We felt very safe. The hotel was very economical compared to some of the nicer hotels around, and had wonderful dinners and breakfasts available. The location was perfect for us as we took the train to the various castles and locations we wanted to visit, and the stay included free train passes for the local area.||||The visit was much better than we would have imagined, and we are so glad to have found this little place.

We arrived in Bad Salzig early and it was raining so we decided to see if we could check in to our hotel, The Parkhotel. We were pleasantly surprised that we could get a room with a balcony so we spent the afternoon relaxing on our balcony, watching the rain, and enjoying the peaceful area. We decided to have dinner there as well and enjoyed a excellent dinner with outstanding service. The staff was very professional, polite, and helpful as well as friendly. A SUPER experience all around.

We ended up here because our planned hotel did not work out. What a lucky find for us. There are wonderful places to sit and relax on the grounds. Quirky, fun decorated bedrooms and public places. Incredible breakfast. It is only two miles from the Rhine. Very nice restaurant. Attentive staff.

I'm afraid to say we did NOT enjoy our stay.||It started with first seeing how SMALL the room was. By far the smallest hotel room I've seen in my 76 years. See the photo of how the bed is squeezed between the walls.. impossible to even walk.||The ‘double' room was not really DOUBLE.. it's a TWIN, with two beds pushed together. You can’t sleep as a couple and the annoying single duvets keep falling on the ground continuously having to wake up to rearrange.||The TV was broken.. no sound..(was replaced)||The WIFI in our room was a disaster.||The bathroom was just a 2 square meter box and the shower leaked VERY badly under the shower doors..||The restaurant menu can't really be called a menu. There was a choice of just one beef, one pork, one fish, one pasta and one salad dish. A stay of more than one night would be culinaire boring.. and €15 for a simple continental breakfast... definitely not worth it.||The parking places are quite small and difficult manoeuvring.. and they even charged for them.. however there was parking on the road.||There was ONE plus point.. free covered parking for your bikes.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel near Boppard. The family Joswig are superb hosts, going out of their way to welcome us. The breakfast is a spread and set in a beautiful bright room. This is a good base to explore the areas round.
