Staff aggressively removed my pot from the stove, claiming it was burning even though there was no smoke and I was standing right there. When asked to communicate, they yelled aggressively (the staff went ballistic - I thought she was having a mental fit as she came across as very disturbed). She proceeded, saying I’d “never stay there again,” despite me having no intention or interest of staying longer than the 3 nights booked. The woman was the most delusional person I’ve ever met, worse in a professional setting. Overall antisocial environment- staff ganging up on customers, taking over the kitchen area, and shouting/talking so loudly and aggressively.
Their behaviour was disrespectful, stalking, controlling, and unprofessional - Just no personal manners or self-esteem.
The manager gave unsolicited advice and, when told their behaviour was inappropriate, he said he “owns the place” and can do as he pleases — showing zero professionalism or respect for guest boundaries. The staff’s aggressive and unprofessional behaviour clearly reflected the management culture.
The environment felt hostile and chaotic. I checked out early and couldn’t be happier.
