Park Villa Pallavicino

Nice experience but we felt the price was a little steep (16eur per adult) for what was available. The chateau is shut for renovation and the animal displays looked like they needed some investment. 6/10 ok half a day out but too expensive for what is there. Also be warned it is all uphill

we just paid to visit the park which has free parking across the road. it was one of my best days while on holiday. I loved it. beautiful gardens with fantastic views of the lake. very well kept including the pet farm which idint just for children. I could of spent all day there. Nice card, playground, streams. Well worth a visit

a real gem! it's an easy walk, and took us about 10mins from the centre of stressa, and a reasonable entrance price. be warned the paths are steep but there's lots of benches to stop and rest! the animal park it's fun but it's the gardens and views that are the real attraction! worth it for them alone!

If you have kids below 7-8 years old they will love it. The garden is beautiful. The farm is full of animals and many of them are free around you. There are several stunning views. The cafe' is nice and in the middle of a lovely garden. The playground is for small kids (I would say up to 4-5yo even if our son of 6yo enjoyed it).

Very beautiful park and nicely preserved and taken care of. The staff was nice and friendly and very caring and attentive to the animals. The only downside,is the size of the cages of some of the animals or the fact that they are alone in their establishments. There is this magnificent eagle, a huge bird and the cage is definitely not big enough for such a creature. And the poor zebra and the squirrel seemed very lonely.. But it's a beautiful park!!! 😅😂

It’s fun to see the animals and be able to pet some of them. The majority of the animals are rescued and not able to live in the wilderness again due to their condition, so they’re taking care of them. The gardens are very beautiful and well taken care of. The bathrooms could have a little update.

Parcs like this are free in other parts of the world. Even if they must charge, the 15 euro entrance fee is preposterous. You're better off visiting the Villa Taranto gardens, cheaper and way prettier. This is a nice enough parc, but not worth a detour. The only entrance is outside Stresa city limits, and as such, not very practical for pedestrians, who are forced to walk on the busy road because of endless works and parked cars blocking the sidewalk. It would have been wiser to have another entrance close to Via San Michele, for example, but logic is not the driving force in Italy. For adults, the only area of mild interest is the gardens. For children there are several areas such as the playground, and the petting zoo. There are just a handful of sitting benches in this park, obviously pushing you to spend your hard-earned money in the restaurant, and overpriced snack kiosks (5 euro fries!).
