Decent concert arena but the stage doesn’t cater to viewing from the sides. The stage is rather deep and unless the band is at the edge of the stage many sections will not be able to see the musicians. Recommend buying tickets straight in front of the stage or as little as possible at an angle. The parking is difficult here, and you need to walk about one kilometer to get to the arena.

The atmosphere here is hard to beat. Fair enough, this comes usually at a meaty price. If you're willing to pay you probably get the best concert experience & service in and around Berlin, if you're favorite acts is playing. This type of event location is especially nice for less tall people, as the vertical arrangement of the seating makes up for "shortcomings". Pro tip: don't try to find a shortcut when waiting for the S-Bahn - just wait. It takes half an hour still - but it's not as bad as it looks when arriving there after the event initially.

Fantastic place for open air concerts!

A fabulous open air venue with great sound. Public transport links are good and the train station and venue are connected by a pathway that is well signposted. Unless there's special access that I didn't see, the way in did not seem very accessible though for people with mobility issues. The entry was swift and coordinated, there were lots of staff on hand to show you where your seats were and as one would expect there was a lot of food and drink stands all over the arena, plus people walking around selling pretzels and beer. The toilets were very clean and maintained and the addition of extra porta cabins meant the wait was not too long. My only negative points are that I noticed that there were some seating areas on the far sides of the stage that would have given very poor views so I wouldn't recommend those tickets if you have seating allocations like I did. Also, they inexplicably did not sell any alcohol free beer, so if you didn't want to drink alcohol the only choice was water or sugary soft drinks. Many venues in Berlin will have at least one alcohol free beer so I don't really understand why the Parkbühne doesn't as well. Finally, like all open air venues you are at the mercy of the elements, I was there during glorious weather, not too hot but sunny and warm, I'm not sure I would have enjoyed myself quite as much in the rain!

One of nicest place to watch/enjoy a show.

Fantastic outdoor arena for medium - large scale music gigs. It’s for sure on the commercial side. But it’s a great venue. A bit of a stretch on the edge of the city limits of Berlin. But wonderful during the summer. Terrible parking situation. No real onsite parking which is odd. So carpool or similar. Worth the way out there though! So WuTang and NAS. 🎤😎

There is something wrong with Germany as a state. How can you allow smoking at a big public event?! Plus the venue didn’t provide any earplugs regardless of where you sit in regards to the speakers…..

Great organisation & atmosphere. There was several stands to get drinks and food from. The audio setup could be better but overall it's a great place for a summer open air concert.

I docked a point for RIDICULOUS concession prices and overall chaotic mess of people oh well, it was RADIOHEAD!!!! I didn't mind the negatives, I just didn't buy anything or move once we found our seats. hehe I'm a purist. Aside from being the sickest concert ever, I will say that the lighting and stage setup (yes also done by people with the band, but is subject to the capabilities of the venue) was so sweet. They put on a truly professional show, in grand fashion. The four stars mainly point to the lighting/stage setup, my memories of the concert, and the fact that BIG names come here, so therefore it obviously garners some respect for being able to handle the capacity and show requirements. I will also say that being out in the foresty area with greenery and fresh air was a welcome atmosphere coming from the big city of Berlin. Just an overall great location and vibe here. RECOMMENDED, see if your favorite band is playing here, and come early to grab yourself a good seat!!!!

On a whim a couple of months ago, when i couldn't get Faith No More tickets for Brixton, I bought some for the gig in Berlin instead. As you do. As it turned out, it was the best thing I've ever done. This venue is fantastic. Great stage, great sound, brilliant seating with a perfect view of the stage (I've injured my foot, so that's where I should have been, of course I was in the crowd moshing away). What struck me was the friendliness. Everyone is friendly. You know when you go to an outdoor gig in the UK and the queue for the bar is a mile long? It doesn't happen here. They don't care about the drinking. They've also got a nifty little system where you pay a deposit for the glass. That'll stop you throwing them about the place. Very clever. I have no idea what this place is used for in Winter, but if you get the chance to go hear, do. Not just to see wonderful aging rockbands, but to see anyone. Best gig I've ever been to.
