The food was excellent — hats off to the chef/kitchen. My husband thought the salmon was the best he’d EVER had. Flavorful, cooked correctly, delicious.
The service was not what we expected for this nice of a place; they appeared to be understaffed. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and waited almost 10 minutes before anyone spoke to us, although several wait staff passed us in the entryway. Then a man, who turned out to be our waiter, asked us to wait until they went to clean off a table. After my husband’s soup, I asked what the small bowl of oil and herbs was for on the table. Waiter replied “for the bread,” and then realized he had not brought us any. It was delicious too, but was brought to the table after we had begun our entrees. Waiter also did not check regularly to replenish drinks. Sometimes it is the little things.
