This is the third time I have stayed at this really nice Inn! Twice for my husband and I. I can't say enough about how, in my opinion, is the best place to stay in Alma. It has an onsite restaurant and the rooms are spacious. A nice gift provided is Fundy Sea Soap. I can't wait to try it out. The owner was very busy when we arrived. She was sending her daughter off to University and was balancing checking us in, answering questions, and because this was her daughter's first year at university, she was a little emotional. But she helped me with my luggage and showed me the room. I felt like family! Our room was a suite with two bedrooms with the washroom in the middle. We had a beautiful view of the harbour. If you are going to visit the Hopewell Rocks or the Bay of Fundy, this is THE place to stay in my opinion. Restaurant and pub on site, centrally located.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view. Scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt and various breads were served for breakfast. The Inn was centrally located and despite being in the heart of town, was very quiet. It was so nice to be able to walk to restaurants and stroll on the pier next to the Inn. There is no elevator so we just brought in our duffle bags to avoid carrying suitcases.

I’m rating my experience as 2 out of 5 as the staff and food were amazing.||The hotel itself is fine: dated but clean with a great view of the Bay, centrally located with the all that Alma has to offer nearby.||That said, if you are assigned a room on the second floor above the restaurant and you are a light sleeper or value peace and quiet, understand that you will not get it. There is no sound barrier between floors. The third floor activity while we were there was very loud. You will hear the people above you, who I believe were residents and not hotel guests, as well as the daily activity of the restaurant below.||To their benefit, after I mentioned the noise to the front desk staff after the first sleep-deprived night, it was slightly better the second night. But the experience left me very disappointed.

Great location. Customer service top shelf. Be prepared there is no AC but backs onto the bay, always a cool breeze. Hotel and town hidden gem, small fishing town. Views are amazing, sit in your room and watch the unreal tidal changes. Quaint, quiet, perfect. Walking distance to Fundy National Park and the best fresh seafood markets. I don't have any negatives.

Five Stars – A Must-Visit in Alma! My husband and I were visiting Canada around Mother’s Day and decided to stop at the Tides Restaurant in Alma, New Brunswick—and we’re so glad we did! Our table was right by a window with a hummingbird feeder, and it was such a treat to watch the hummingbirds come and go while we ate. The food was outstanding. I ordered the lobster with two sides, and it was the most delicious lobster I’ve ever had—perfectly briny and fresh, just like the ocean. My husband had the scallops and loved his meal as well. Coming from Massachusetts, we always thought we had the best lobster around—until we came here. It was so good that we told our waitress we’d be back, and sure enough, we returned two days later. I ordered the exact same meal, and it was just as amazing the second time. This place is a gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Five stars all the way!

Awful. Stay away! We booked through Expedia as Parkland's website did not offer the option for two double beds, we needed. If we had known we would be treated like the lowest cast of humanity, because we used a third party, one that Parkland negotiates & contracts with (in their control) then they need to stop using third parking booking agents. They pay Expedia and other third parties a commission (do not know how much Parkland agrees to pay, again in their control),then make the customer pay with ill will and bad treatment which is appalling (google says about 10 - 20 to 30%). ||We called three time to ask for a quiet, upper level room and got put in an accessible, awful ground floor room (felt like it was in the middle of the main strip with the noisy motorcycles and pick-up trucks). The accessible shower stall floor (was disgusting), hand rail and heater dirty & rusted, dresser, bed headboard had stains all over, very wobbly ceiling fan - not safe. Room smelled of old air freshener (you'd think they could get some 'nicer' smelling plug in's instead of cheap spray) so we had to use a table to prop the front door open and use the fan to clear out the stench from the room. As a meeting and event planner, I know how hotels make their money, by commission from a third parties (and do not take as much money to the bank) with having to dole out funds to a third party (again if they do not want to pay third parties then do not list it, but do not choose to list it then treat people like crap, like Parkland does. I will contact Expedia directly to tell them of the abhorrent treatment by Parkland and all of it's staff (they're trained to give third party clients the worse rooms), and will also contact NB Health as they told me they have no rooms with AC (I have asthma and asked) as with our changing climate they need to have AC (just like they need to have heat in the winter months). Even long-term care homes are now required to have AC for our brutal heat. We had stayed there previously, and it was great, but booked directly, talked with owner multiple times and he was friendly, saw the hummingbirds out of the dining room window). This time due to the treatment we did not step into the hotel and chose to give our F&B (food & beverage) budget to others in town.||When we checked in, asking for our preferred room, the reception told us should have cancel with Expedia and re-book with them directly (again Parkland did not offer the room we wanted). Paid over $200 with tax for the pleasure of this disaster.||This owner does not understand that repeat customers are the bread & butter of the hotel industry as it's cheaper to keep a customer coming back, based on how you treat them, vs trying to find a new customer, especially after bad reviews, of which there are many for Parkland.

Beautiful room with comfortable bed and sea view from the bed. We have king room with balcony on the third floor. You can watch the low tides from your room/bed or go down to walk out. The restaurant at the hotel is good and quite popular that some people came to make reservation before going in to Fundy NP. The only complaint is no breakfast. The bakery next door don’t open until 8:30.

My only complaint was the ease of mobility, stairs were a killer and floor in room was warped so made walking tricky. Food was fabulous, my grandson is still talking about the burger and comparing to every other one he eats. All staff are fantastic, room was extremely clean and a great location and view from the room. Beds not the most comfortable but tolerable.

Yelp
What kind of hospitality entity watches 5 guys on Motorcycles check-in after battling torrential rain in a 6 hour ride and then close their kitchen and bar?... THIS PLACE DOES! (4) rooms were booked at 10:00 am and due to the brutal weather we arrived at 7:30 pm Check-in was absolutely painful... the guy behind the desk was a clueless moron. After I was told $187 for a street view I was also informed we'd have to walk our soaked bags up 3 flights of stairs. Upon opening the door my jaw dropped. The decor was beyond "dated"!! The carpet looked 20 yrs old... NO A/C and the headboards and Armoire looked like they had 40 yrs of cigarette smoke stains. I needed the laundry room to dry my clothes... I was told it wasn't available till the morning. UNACCEPTABLE!!... 15 minutes later I grabbed some Scotch and headed downstairs after removing my soaked things from my bag.... and WOW!!! THE ENTIRE PLACE WAS LIGHTS OFF AND LOCKED UP WITHOUT ANY WARNING! ;( We had stood in line forever and watched people dining, "eating Lobster dinners"...THE ONLY REASON WE CAME THERE!!!... and the pub was open, " everyone staring at us dripping all over the floor from our ride".. not once, from anyone... did they say the Kitchen or the Pub was shutting down soon and if we needed anything we should put an order in! Absolutely DISGUSTED!!... Especially in a town that has no nightlife after dark! So there we are 5 men...WET, HUNGRY and THIRSTY and left to figure it out for ourselves after dropping just under $1000 in accommodations. We easily would've spent $600-700 in food/ drinks.. PLUS a huge tip! and paid wages for O.T if necessary ! I guess Covid didn't affect their bottom line? I'll never return to this overpriced sh*thole. We loaded up the bikes at sunrise and never looked back!

Yelp
Great location right before the entrance to Fundy National Park but quite a drive to see the best views at low tide. Don't get Room 5 if you plan to go to sleep before the kitchen closes. I had to listen to every order called- apparently the lobster and mussels are very popular. We had lunch in the restaurant with a beautiful view of the water. Great food and very good service.

Yelp
Staff was very friendly and the room looked nice. Unfortunately, the beds were not comfortable and the entire room seemed creaky. And unlevel. Anytime any person moved above us, the ceiling creaked and you heard them moving around. View was nice. If it wasn't for the noise above us it would have been adequate, considering the area, but it was quite loud. Includes breakfast which was basically toast, frozen waffles, and cereal.

Yelp
Parkland Village Inn's incompetent staff made an error in my reservation and then charged me the no-show fee because they expected me on a random date, before my actual arrival. Thanks to their incompetence or dishonesty, I paid one night's room charge and received no service. And of course no room upon my actual arrival.

Yelp
After booking through Expedia, several months in advance to ensure I had a place to stay, today I received notice that my reservation was canceled. After talking to the person at the front desk, I strongly suspect that my reservation was canceled to accommodate a tour bus. This would indicate a poor understanding and appreciation of customer service. After looking forward to visiting this area, to say I am disappointed is a gross understatement. Update: I called Expedia, the website I booked through and who the hotel blamed for the error. Expedia had a record of my reservation on the correct date, April 10, which Expedia says is automatically passed along to the hotel. The hotel overbooked. It is an area with few places to stay and now no other hotel options exist. Thanks a lot.

Yelp
It isn't bad for the price but sure would of like to have AC in our room.. What hotel room doesn't have AC ? The restaurant food is very good, the Thai style muscle are to die for but the meal is very expensive for the style of place.. Hard to say if I would recommend this as it is just okay

Yelp
We would like to say something nice about the inn but we never got to stay there. We made a reservation 6 months ago for 2 nights for 2 rooms. When we arrived we were told we had arrived a day early. After showing them our confirmation they said sorry we can't help you. They managed to find us a very low end place where they told us we must stay for 2 nights or share a VERY small room for 1 night. This is our first and probably last trip to the area.
