"The three-towered, blue-and-green glass property is remarkable for its connecting, undulating tiered design inspired by terraced Balinese rice paddies and the elevated gardens that seem to hang from above. Designed by Singapore starchitects WOHA, the Parkroyal on Pickering is almost an extension of the green space in front of it—Hong Lim Park—with 160,000 square feet of gardens, reflecting pools, waterfalls, planter terraces, and vertical landscaping. Eco-mindfulness is evident elsewhere: photo sensors monitor light usage, showers are low-flow, sheets are changed on alternate days (less frequently if requested), and rooms have refillable glass water bottles. The property’s most striking space is the fifth-floor wellness area, where cabanas are shaped like giant bird cages, and the infinity pool looks out above the park with a view of the shophouses across the way. The generally compact rooms espouse the Scandinavian-sleek look."

Parkroyal Pickering provided a wonderful experience for our wedding event, with excellent staff service provided by Jeremy Lok and Jason Khew. The food for the banquet dinner was scrumptious and filling which our guests gave compliments. The Collection Suite stay was comfortable and enjoyable for us as newlyweds. |Jeremy Lok was assigned as our banquet manager to handle our wedding banquet event held on 28 June 2025. In the few months prior to our wedding, he responded promptly to all our queries and provided solutions to our issues faced. He was at all times being professional despite a busy schedule he had. He ensured that things are all in order prior to our wedding and even suggested we come down to take a look at the photography locations and hosted us. On our wedding day, he was there throughout personally with Jason and provided sufficient staff to help out with solemnisation, tea ceremony and banquet, which all our guests and family members gave praises. Jason also briefed us on the rehearsal and did not rush us for both march-in despite the over-run. Jason being professional and assured us that things will be fine made us felt very calm. This wedding event hosted at Parkroyal Pickering wouldn't be a success without Jeremy, Jason and all banquet staff. Jeremy even took the initiative to extend our stay in the same room to avoid the inconvenience of us shifting to another room the next day, which we truly appreciated. We would like to take this chance to express our utmost gratitude and appreciation to Jeremy, Jason and all banquet staff that assisted us for our wedding. We are very pleased we chose Parkroyal and would definitely recommend to others.

We’ve stayed here three times and have generally had very good experiences. However, during our most recent visit, we encountered some challenges at the front desk that impacted our stay. Due to a medical situation involving an injured member of our group, we requested a change in room location to better accommodate their condition. Unfortunately, we felt that our concerns were not met with the level of responsiveness or support we had previously experienced. What could have been a relatively simple adjustment became a prolonged and exhausting process. We were eventually offered new rooms two days later, but by then, we were too worn out to move again. That said, we would like to recognize Samuel Lee, the Assistant Front Office Manager, who made a significant difference on our last day. He took the time to listen, understand our concerns, and offer genuine reassurance. His professionalism and care restored our confidence in the service we had come to appreciate and it is largely because of this positive interaction with Samuel that we would return. On another note, we also noticed some areas for improvement in the Executive Lounge. There is of lack attention to detail in the service of certain dishes, drinks, and the setup of the mini buffets(cheese platters with not the right cheese knives,no spoons to scoop honey/jams). Orders were occasionally mixed up, the quality of the coffee could be enhanced. With a bit more consistency and attentiveness, the overall experience in the lounge could better match the standards expected at this level of hospitality.

Attractive property in a convenient location.   It has a nice open feel to it with natural vegetation adorning the exterior.   Health club is compact but well equipped.   Personal trainer (Zen) was very helpful and is on site to help guests free of charge.   Pool is a nice infinity style pool within a garden setting overlooking the city skyline.   Service is attentive and well trained to interact with guests.  Everyone was friendly and courteous.    Nice coffee machine in the room and complementary 1st round minibar service.   There is some room for improvement so I gave a 4/5.    The rooms are not equipped with bidet or washlet toilets which is a bit primitive.   Bath robes are tiny and do not fit men (I'm 1.8m).   Low water pressure in shower ( I was on 11F).   The breakfast buffet was a bit average compared to other 5 star hotels which I've stayed with lacking depth and availability.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. The room was specious, comfortable and with a nice city view. The room and bathroom had everything I needed (coffee, drinking water, toiletries, etc). Service was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Hotel amenities (pool, lobby, restaurant, were amazing.

Beautiful hotel. Service, friendly and attentive staff are beyond accommodating. Saturday's complementary yoga was nicely led. The gym is a good size, and clean with a good variety of machines, weights, and space for self-guided workouts. The infinity pool and view are unbeatable. The shower has a great water flow. Enjoyed my stay at ParkRoyal Pickering.

The hanging gardens are absolutely stunning and make this hotel feel like no other. A unique blend of urban luxury and tropical nature. It genuinely felt like living in a tropical oasis right in the heart of the city. The natural light in the room made the space feel much larger and more open, and the glass shower overlooking the city added a special touch that made the stay feel truly memorable and luxurious. The breakfast was good, with a decent variety and quality. But what stood out most was the exceptional service: truly 10 out of 10. The staff were attentive, warm, and made the experience seamless and elevated.

Enjoyable stay. 1. Great Location. 4 mins walk to Chinatown MRT station and also within 10 mins walk Maxwell MRT station and Clarke Quake MRT station. Also walking distance to some popular attractions, great for ppl who love doing city walk. 2. Quiet air conditioning with fresh air. I am prone to fall victim to running nose in view of poor air quality, but I had been enjoying the 3-nights stay with no allergy issue which means air con was great while it was also very quiet. 3. Lots of IG worthy spots. 4. Grab pick-up point with shelter. Actually if you exist via Chinatown Point (the shopping mall of China town MRT station exit), the way to the hotel would also be covered by shelter, which means you don’t need to worry about raining when going out. I find it important as it did raining quite a lot during my stay. For a hotel who markets itself as sustainable, the given room food menu offered a bit limited vegetarian/ vegan options. It’s okay for me as I am not full vegan all the times and I came to SG for leisure only.

Really love the greenery of the whole hotel when I walk in. Amazing design, cozy and relax. They have one of the most amazing hotel buffet in Singapore. I am a buffet lovers, and this one really caught my heart. I always come back for their lobster buffet, incredible standards, a lot of varieties of lobster, even have the most amazing Sarawak pepper lobster flavour. So fragrant, the spiciness is just nice.

Yelp
Hotel Pickering - what a gem! I visited Singapore in 2020, before the world shut down, and I happened to pass this hotel during a tour and I knew during a repeat visit, this is the place I wanted to stay. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by the hotel concierge, who immediately tagged our bags and ushered us inside. Upon entry the hotel lobby is absolutely beautiful with lots of greenery, wood accents, and chairs along the left side with floor-to-ceiling windows to watch the world go by. We were quickly checked in and shown to our room. One upstairs in our room, we were absolutely blown away! The room was spacious but cozy with a completely separate bathroom area standing shower, luxurious bathtub and water closet. I love that they include bath salts for you to relax and soothe your body during those long days, walking the Singaporean streets. They even have a filtered water tap on the sink in the bathroom to refill your water bottles - excellent idea! Ample lighting with a working desk and seating area with huge windows to watch the city go by from your room if you don't wanna be downstairs in the lobby. After getting settled, we went downstairs to check out the restaurant and the bar. The hotel was jumping and packed with guests but it didnt feel crowded at all. Yvaraj (one of the highlights from our stay) greeted us warmly and we sat down for a few drinks to check out the scene. We ordered our drinks and chilled for an hour before heading to Lime restaurant for dinner. I loved that he not only remembered our drink orders when we returned the following two days but also my last name and room number - talk about quality service! The food at Lime was fantastic! Whether it be dinner a la carte or breakfast-great variety, taste, and the staff was great as well. We stayed for four nights so really that good layout of the hotel. Spend some quality time at the pool on the fifth floor, which was so cool and even utilize the gym which is well equipped & I love that they have box water available too! If I were to give recommendations for this hotel to really unsurely, be an ultimate luxury experience I would say they need to invest in mattress toppers available upon request I guess because I surely would have requested one and offer a pillow menu as the pillows were too soft and you sunk right into them. All in all, this was a fantastic day and will be my hotel of choice upon returning to Singapore.

Yelp
Very unique and aesthetically pleasing architecture with a kick ass view of the Singapore skyline from the room, pool, and the gym. The gym unfortunately has only baby weights and was lacking equipment, but the view certainly motivated me to do tons of pull ups and swim many many laps.

Yelp
I wrote the review of Amara hotel which was what I had in mind at 1st but changed my mind and booked here, it was a big mistake and I'm still mad at myself. Both properties are near Chinatown and even though I'm against all the climate hoax, I was impressed at all the green things they embraced and I thought I wanted to experience the infinity pool I did not get a chance to use in 2015 when I stayed there. The only thing I must give them credit for was the excellent customer service, I was greeted at the door as if I was family and there was a dude I forgot his name who always greeted me by my name 3 times a day! LOL! They were all so nice to me, I must have inspired good vibes to them they upgraded me to a nice junior suite! A corner room w panoramic view and electronic drapes, wow, I was dazzled touching a button and the drapes moved up and down so definitely 5 stars for customer service. The nightmare started when I realized the room was an icebox, wazzup w this nonsense, ICEBOX EVERYWHERE I GO LATELY? They had no heat which I understood Singapore was a tropical country but come on man, there are people on earth who can't handle 45F air condition, that thermostat was useless, the air condition was on all over the hotel. I could not sleep, they did give me a real blanket (not a fake velour blanket or worse yet, comforters like in many hotels) I packed my own wool blanket in my suitcase but that was not enough so I was able to sleep w 2 blankets but hated the cold when I had to use the bathroom or take a shower. All my siblings are eskimos, they love iceboxes, Amara hotel was just perfect as far as temperature was to make you feel comfortable and cozy. What really made me mad was the cutthroat pricing of the breakfast and dinner, unfortunately they talked me into buying breakfast prepaying it would save a lot of money but still cost $60 pp, I thought why not a beautiful hotel must have had yummy food, well they food was good in 2015. I will pay attention next time if you see the hotel w international guests yet the restaurant only had 1 pale face, my husband that was a RED FLAG RIGH THERE, the Chinese food there was not Chinese as we knew in USA, Cantonese or Schezuan, it was HOKKIEN, FUJIAN, mostly strong fishy fish and I can barely eat fish except Cantonese or thai style, it was horrible, I had to force myself to eat weird things, everybody loved the food around me, they were mostly is not all well to do Singaporean (like in the movie crazy rich Asians) for breakfast they had LAKSA, OY VEY! I cannot eat that stuff, their wonton soup was weird. I wanted refund for the next day breakfast, they told me it was nonrefundable. A walk down the street to a food court a wonton soup would just cost $5, of well, whoever reads this review should take note. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures I took, I'm a food photographer. The dinner was even worse $120 even after discount but w tax was $115 or so pp, not a joke like Brandon said, I thought I heard it incorrectly, I had just left Thailand to come to Singapore, in Kosamui a sumptuous dinner cost us $39 for both of us, again the food was barely edible for us foreigners, at dinner 95% diners were probably Singaporean business people or well to do tourists. I had forgotten they had no bar but a little counter w 3 chairs thus no happy hour, it was strange such a beautiful hotel and no bar? No wonder I did not see too many white folks, my husband was stressed out not having a bar to do some chug a lug, I would have enjoyed a Singapore Sling, one of the 1st drink I had out of college. So food and beverages here deserve a 1 star, yep that bad! 5 stars room, 5 stars customer service just cannot make up for this deficiency so I lost the weight I gained from pigging out in VN and Thailand on the cheap. It was raining for an hour till it got dark so again I was not able to use the infinity pool, btw the rain did make it cool outside and the pool water was cold and it was not illuminated either, major disappointment. To recap you have been warned if you are an eskimo, climate fan, this place is a paradise, the beautiful decoration like in Disneyland but if you are a tropical wuh myn like myself, go down the road to the party place Amara hotel, I missed shopping across the street of Amara to buy designer Tshirt on the cheap ($23or so Versace, etc..) after an exhausting day at the Cloud forest, Avatar forest and finally Sentosa the 2nd day I had no energy to walk to the marketplace and it was raining off and on in Singapore every time I came here, not sunny like in VN or Thailand. Yelp
Parkroyal Collection Pickering is a very nice hotel. My wife booked it on a recent vacation which coincided with Christmas, so I'm not sure how much we paid but I'm sure it was peak-season pricing. The hotel is a really location which is down the street from some of the main Chinatown attractions and with easy access to the public transit (buses or the MRT station), and there was a lot to see within walking distance. It was also pretty easy getting a Grab from the hotel. The hotel is across the street from Point Chinatown was a big multi level shopping and dining center. Our room was comfortable with a lot of the usual amenities you'd expect from a hotel of the class... big shower, nice shampoo/toiletries, etc. Our reservation came included with breakfast buffet from their in-house Lime Restaurant and that was pretty impressive for the breakfast buffet experience with lots of different options. We didn't get a chance to use any of the other amenities (e.g. pool, spa, gym) but I can same the lobby area was pretty spacious, well decorated for Christmas and also had a lot of living plants that they maintained. It was a good experience, and I'd recommend it.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, iconic on the outside, modern and modular on the inside. You feel like you're inside a secluded jungle even in the middle of Chinatown. Their ifinity pool rivals that of the MBS (just a bit smaller and with a more modest view). Breakfast is unbelievably delicious with a vast spread of high quality choices like a DIY donut bar, western classics, and local favorites. We will be booking here again on our next trip to Singapore!

Yelp
Love this place Staff is super friendly and the hotel is in the heart of everything in Singapore by walking distance Would definitely return Love the infinity pool and the garden Room is always clean daily

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel incorporating natural elements throughout. Infinity pool is surrounded by tropical gardens, making it a very relaxing place inside the city. There is also a walkway in the gardens. The hotel is very clean and everyone is very pleasant. It is within walkable distance to Chinatown, hawker centers, Marina Bay Sands, Merlion Park and other landmarks.

Yelp
My husband and I booked the signature executive king for our honeymoon. We stayed four nights and had a corner room with a view of the city. A few nuisances for our room that didn't allow this review to be 5 stars: - room was very far from the elevator - self-closing toilet lid squeaks as it closes all the way down on its own - shower doesn't drain well; flooded enough for us to pause the shower to let it drain before continuing showering - lights are too dim, even with the blinds up which makes it hard to put on makeup well - no ventilation for the shower steam Other than that our stay was good. Check-in was quick and was able to check-in once we arrived around 8:30am vs the usual 3pm time. The foliage and architecture is gorgeous here, which is what really got me to pick this spot. Also love their blackout curtains! There's an small infinity pool with beautiful cabanas that light up at night. There's a nice gym, too! The lobby has free drinks daily, so we always grab a small cup on the way in and out - my favorite is the fresh calamansi and another lychee one. Overall, the stay was nice and walking distance to hawker centers and the malls. Location is super close to Chinatown and we were a total fan of that. The stay was a little more thank $2,630 SGD for 4 nights.

Yelp
There's several Parkroyal locations internationally and I'm not sure how much this one represents the entire enterprise, but I was happy with my 8 night stay for a business trip. I wasn't happy to be on a 19 hour flight from New York, so I'm glad the hotel was comfortable enough for a quick nap upon arrival. The infinity pool is gorgeous but definitely just for dipping in and leisurely cruising- not a pool to do any laps in. You can also order drinks and food at the pool. My biggest disappointment was that they had a "lobster fest" going on the whole duration of our stay, which made it impossible to get dinner at their lobby restaurant. We were able to grab a seat at the bar for a quick drink but the inconvenience was a bit much- enough to take a star or two off. I was aggravated by the sheer amount of foot traffic due to that event. I grew up with Asian culture and always find their attitude to be curt - I'm used to it but don't appreciate it. Guess I'm far too westernized, but I don't like feeling dismissed. It was a short 3 minute walk to our office and an even shorter walk to Chinatown. The gym has ample room and the rooms are modern and luxurious but tiny. Room service food was atrocious but their breakfast buffet made up for the lackluster club sandwiches I'd order at midnight. All in all, I'd recommend staying here for a short or long term stay but the regular king suite is big enough only for one person.

Yelp
This hotel did not disappoint. The pictures were spot on and everything looked and felt exactly as expected. The hotel is centrally located to walk to many attractions and is nearby plenty of shopping and food. The rooms were very clean and seemed like a decently spacious room for this area.

Yelp
Amazing hotel with very comfortable accommodations. The pool is incredible. Staff is amazing and helpful. The decor is beautiful. We were in absolute wow at our stay here. The hotel is also close to a few MRT stations for ease in navigating the area. Highly recommend!

Yelp
7/24- I love, love, love this hotel... I booked it on Expedia because of the architecture. It's so beautiful, unique and oh so green. The proximity to Chinatown, Clarke's Quay, train station, restaurants and malls is very convenient. Between 5-10 minute walk. The room was modern, studio type with impressive shower unit. I love the sliding door conversations if you want more privacy. The mattress was also very comfortable. No garden view from our room, only sky scrapers which wasn't bad either. We had access to the Orchid Lounge and enjoyed breakfast there every morning. They have the same selection every morning which I didn't mind. I got my poached eggs and that's all that matters. The have a very extensive buffet on the first floor, people were saying it's one of the best in town but hubby and I opted to try local cuisines instead.

Yelp
My stay has been nothing short of spectacular. I have been here for almost 3 weeks already and I cannot think of anything bad to say about this hotel and their staff. Well, except for the fact that their complimentary breakfast buffet offers the same thing everyday. I'd suggest having a cyclical menu... Upon checking in, mojitos for the 3 of us. There were issues w/ the company card we used to book the rooms but the nice woman took another card temporarily and said we could check-in and freshen up. We were on a plane for 20-21 hours so it was very obvious we wanted to take a shower and change, The concierge staff at the front were very friendly and welcoming. They took our suitcases and w/in seconds after I entered my room, there he was giving me my relief (my clothes and some stuff I wanted to be displayed during my time here: the 2 cards my kids gave me and a Buddhist bible type of book). I was very thankful that I arrived safely and that my kids are safe and well cared for. I have not been away from them for that long so I definitely had a hard time despite the beautiful views. You will not have to question or worry about your safety here. You do not need to scan your room key if you are going down to level 1 but to go up, you will need your room key. This feature/amenity made me feel incredibly safe. My room was bright and inviting. It's serene just chillin' in my room. W/ the perk that we had, we got free Wi-Fi for up to 5 devices, complimentary 2 laundry pieces a day (I've been doing 3-5 a day), items in the mini bar is free w/ the exception of the alcohol, and I LOVE that they have a scale. I have been tracking my weight which is why I'm back on IF for the time being. 5th floor - outdoor pool (opens from 6AM-10PM) and their 24 hour gym facility 16th floor - Orchid Lounge (the perks: breakfast, afternoon tea, and drinks/cocktails) Lime is their restaurant aka upscale buffet. We've had dinner here and Sunday brunch here. There hasn't been anything that I have tried and did not like. From the many selections and various cuisines, each dish was made w/ intricate detail. Even their cheese offerings and bread selections. I tried foie gras for the 1st time and really enjoyed it. If you are not a diet then I would suggest not even coming here at all. A great experience and though the luxury life is great, I'm counting down to be home.

Yelp
REVIEWER # 19 From the moment I laid eyes on this hotel, I was in love! Parkroyal on Pickering has to be the most beautiful hotel I've ever been to in 27 years of living. Let alone, the customer service is exceptional! I could not have asked for a better stay in Singapore. (smiles) After researching hotels in Singapore I came across this amazing hotel, smackdown near Chinatown, Clark Quay, Boat Quay, and a train stop away from all of the rest of the main areas in Singapore. This hotel is equipped with many fancy amenities: the bar that is located on the lower level and doesn't close till late; the gym and the rooftop pool located on the 5th floor. Downstairs, before you enter the elevator, is the Lime restaurant, but you get 20% off just from being in the hotel itself. Let's not forget the amazing continental breakfast in the morning from 6:30 AM-10AM; this was one of the best parts of my stay! After researching hotels around the downtown area, I realized that this was the best one. I purchased a room with Orchid Club Lounge Privileges and I totally recommend it! Boy, would you feel fancy when you stay here! Orchid Club Lounge comes with: complimentary welcome drink, all-day refreshments (non-alcoholic), champagne breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. But wait, hold on, that's not it! When getting the Orchid Club Lounge you also get complimentary Wi-Fi, priority check-in and check out, complimentary local calls from the room, 2 pieces of laundry per room, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. OMG, this place is just FAB! My room was on the 15th floor with a gorgeous view of the city of Singapore; did I mention the king bed was absolutely comfortable! The room was clean and the bathtub, ahh yesss, the bathtub was EVERYTHING! Don't be clumsy like me and take the room key out from near the door, I took that out one night to use but realized that it wasn't an actual room key; it was a key to monitor the lights in the room; DUH! Did I mention the infinity pool?! OH-MY-GOSH! The pool is LOVELY! I never saw an infinitely pool until I came here. They have a bar downstairs that is open late. To all my people that love them a good alcohol drink, alcohol is EXPENSIVE in Singapore, so a drink could easily cost you an arm and a leg. Once seated at the bar, you are given complimentary Casanova Chips and Muruka. I would like to give a HUGEEEE thank you to the amazing staff that treated me like family here! Jenny, Serene, Anissa and Michelle working the 16th-floor Orchid Room for breakfast and evening cocktails. They were such a joy to speak to when I entered the building. I love that this hotel helps interns in giving them the hospitality experience! Parkroyal was everything a fancy chick like me could ask for! I was truly wined and dined here and loved every minute of it! Thank you, Parkroyal for an amazing staycation!

Yelp
I was visiting on a quick business trip and had the most pleasant experience here. From the efficient laundry service to the hostest at tea and dinner. Ana, Leslie, and Michael went beyond what was needed to make my experience memorable. They were attentive, pleasant and the food was absolutely delicious. I would 100 percent recommend this hotel and the dining experience.

Yelp
**MAKE SURE TO UPGRADE TO AN ORCHID CLUB ROOM** There are times to make THAT splurge. And HERE is one of those times. After researching hotels in Singapore, decided to do this one. And thankfully so. AMBIANCE ========== Beautifully-designed green hotel with lofty sky gardens with views of the city's skyline. From beginning to end, one of our favorite hotel experiences. ROOM ====== PROS -------- - Tastefully furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed and work area. - Floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Chinatown and Hong Lim Park. - Pillows for days. - Fluffy bathrobes and slippers. - Room came with soaking tub. - Fast Wi-Fi. - 100% Smoke-Free. - Infinity Pool (see picture, better than Marina Bay Sands IMO) - Awesome gym (to burn off all the hawker food) CONS -------- - Provided bathroom amenities were 'OK'. Not 5 star quality. - No Nespresso coffee machine (online description mentioned that it was included). ORCHID CLUB ACCESS ==================== These privileges alone were worth the upgrade (think $50 pp a day). - Complimentary welcome drink - All-day refreshments (non-alcoholic) - Champagne breakfast from 6:30am to 10:30am - Afternoon tea from 2:00pm to 4:00pm - Evening cocktails from 6:00pm to 8:00pm - Exclusive access to outdoor rooftop terraces - Complimentary in-room wired and wireless Internet access - Priority check-in and check-out - Complimentary local calls - Two pieces of laundry per room, per day, non-accumulative during your stay - Suit pressing (two pieces per room on the day of arrival only) - Shoe shine service available upon request - Complimentary non-alcoholic minibar PRO TIPS ======== Check their website for online deals. You get discounts if you pay in advance. OVERALL ======== Expect to pay around $300 a night which is pretty good for a 5 star in Singapore. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those seeking a better alternative to Marina Bay Sands.

Yelp
Good service. The buffet here has enough variety to satisfy most diners. The food was a bit bland though except for the laksa which was tasty. The Chinese sweet dates and herbs drink was tasty too. The hotel lobby and restrooms dimly lit.

Yelp
Nice hotel. Convenient to downtown. Buffet here has variety and good service. About US $300 for four diners. Some of the food was rather bland. The restrooms in the lobby were dimly lit.

Yelp
Stepping into this place is by far one of the best decisions ive made in singapore. Why? Because of everything they have to offer. First and foremost, the spectacular architecture of the place is AMAZING! You tend to forget you're in a concrete jungle. But the crazy thing is the fact this place is GREEN, VERY GREEN! What i mean is a lot of places that has tried to build and grow plants and trees into the blurprint gas failed because they dont upkeep the property. Here its just flouristing with life in every corner! Even with their vegan lunch offerings they have as well. Now the pool it self is like youre in a jumgle but placed in a city. Does that make sense? Well i thought it did. Customer service, well didn't lack in this department either! Very knowledgable and friendly as well. Not something you would excwpt being so close to chinatown. That comment was not racist btw. Its purly because the closer you get to chinatown, people are always in a hurry to get somewhere and the sense of communication is lacking. Anyways back to the hotel, the rooms, well the best word to describe it "Just Perfect". Designed and done properly. The reason why i said that is because it had all the neccesities, wasnt over the top like most places, and thw room size was just perfect. Not too small and big? Well it could always be bigger! Lol either way, staying here, well worth the money HONEY!!!

Yelp
The only reason why I gave this review a four star is because I've yet to experience an actual stay in the hotel. I've always passed by this hotel enroute to Chinatown or Clarke Quay and I was intrigued by the layered facade which spells luxury on the outside. What's inside, I never knew until now. Visited this hotel to attend my friend's wedding and my first impression was spot on. Upon entering the lobby, I was glad to find many rest areas for guests either in the form of cozy enclaves, one-person private armchair or a big table for communal gatherings amidst a green, forest-y ambiance. The washroom can be hard to miss but it was so gorgeous: double glass doors flank the entry to the washrooms where females turn left and males turn right to find their respective washrooms. The mirrors in the female washroom is perfect. Soft, orange light bulbs surround the mirrors and gave your face the perfect, model glow - great for selfies and taking group pictures with girlfriends. Washrooms like these are the reason why women have the stereotype trait of taking their own sweet time in the washroom. The ballroom was lovely though not as big as I expected. The chinese food served was refreshing and clean on the palate - perhaps due to the menu choice by the couple but I was generally happy that there was alot of organic and herbally food. The entire atmosphere and feel of the hotel is that of being modern with understated style, very green, soothing and has an overall calming effect on me. Would definitely love to have a stay in this hotel to complete my experience.

Yelp
Environmentally friendly. Green everywhere. Huge room. A little unattended bathroom (corners etc) not great bath products but in the end, the place is spectacular. The breakfast (I'm no fan of hotel food) was truly memorable. Separate sections for Japanese Chinese western and Indian in addition to pastries, breads and fresh squeezed juices, omelets etc... Will be my go to hotel!!

Yelp
Took an early morning flight from Manila and hours later I was in Singapore. For many, the marina bay sands is "THE" hotel/resort to stay in... However for me.. Despite it's unique architecture and billions of dollars of construction... It was a bit to bland for me. I'm from California so we have Las Vegas 4 hours drive away and if I wish to see a place like marina bay sands. I just book it and go to the home of the sands corporation in which the marina bay sands is owned by and have a taste of marina bay sands at home. I needed to try something different. Something Las Vegas doesn't have. And here we are. Parkroyal at Pickering. The architecture is a fusion of glass and nature. With plants sculpted artistically on the walls of it's exterior. The infinity pool view does rival marina bay sands... Ok may not be as spectacular but you look up you marvel at this beautiful building. You look down. Black tile giving you a cool feeling. Skip marina bat sands and go to parkroyal at Pickering. I would say that's where the cool kids stay.

Yelp
I honestly have very little to add that hasn't already been said. Perfect location Enviro-friendly Spacious Friendly Professional Spotlessly-clean The staff even somehow memorized who I was and greeted me by name (I'm a bit outgoing and friendly, but I'm pretty sure I was not unique in being recognized!) I too, like everyone else, have nothing negative to offer. Worth the extra money! Be sure to save time to walk around the surrounding half KM as there's a ton to explore that really isn't well published!

Yelp
I booked a stay here after reading about its architectural awards and seeing some pictures. After having stayed at a number of other luxury hotels in Singapore from trips prior, this one is definitely my favorite. It was truly unique, but the rooms were so incredibly comfortable and beautiful. I really enjoyed the sustainable eco appeal of the hotel as well. I also upgraded to club level and the included afternoon tea was absolutely excellent, as were the other perks. I also ordered a burger and fries one night for room service dinner and it was terrific, which is something to be said since almost every burger that I've had from hotels around the world has been less than par. But the location is terrific, the design, the decor, the pool, and the food. Truly an extraordinary stay.

Yelp
Love this hotel! Gorgeous design and great attention to details. Beds are super comfortable, and in room controls are pretty sweet for climate and electric. Pool is great, went later in the day and it was shaded, but nice view, morning sun would likely be better. Definitely an oasis in downtown Singapore, and would definitely recommend it for a nice luxury stay!

Yelp
A green oasis amid the hustle of Singapore's Chinatown district. Rooms are somewhat small (even deluxe) but very well designed and made good use of space, particularly the bathroom area. Aircon was nicely powerful (important for Singapore's climate) and bed was suitably comfortable enough for a good night's rest. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly (they even helped me charge my phone as I forgot my charger). Dinner buffet at lobby restaurant offers a good selection of international and local fare. Will definitely return for a stay!

Yelp
Beautifully designed hotel. The standard room is not big but not cramped either. Hanging plants in the lobby, in the corridors, and all over the place! The pool is quite nice also.

Yelp
I have been waiting for my room to be ready (arriving at 6pm, this is unexpected). Then instead of getting my room at level 12, i am proposed a room on the 6th floor, all the way to the end of the corridor, quite far from the elevator, with a "no real view" window. No possibility to change yet. Very disappointing start of my stay. To balance, in-room dining was quite good. Room is big, but no side tables and not enough drawers for long stays. Bathroom is ok for one person, not that nice when two in the room. Light systems is not very easy to find and use. Swimming pool is great if there is no families around (not very large). When you do long stay, breakfast tend to be the same every day : too bad. After 2 nights, I finally got a room at level 12, with a nice view. End of the stay was better than the start.

Yelp
It is hard to miss Parkroyal@ Pickering with its interesting open and green architecture. And you know what? You should not just walk past it, you should walk right in! It has a beautiful lobby area with open green spaces and is well worth exploring. The club room was great. Comfortable and luxurious. Their pool area was amazing. They have really cute canopy beds in structures resembling bird cages and you can spend the whole a few hours just chillaxing. The St Gregory spa at Parkroyal is probably quite pricey and I would normally find it exorbitant. But it was part of the staycation package (yay!) so I got to try it and it was pretty damn great. The spa had everything a spa should have - great ambience, polite and friendly service, and experienced masseuse. It was a real treat (hint! hint!). As part of the staycation package, we has access to their Orchid club lounge which serves afternoon tea. It was also a great experience. They had tasty little bites and free flow alcohol (hurrays!). The only less than perfect part of this hotel is its restaurant. And I must say that I am just being picky here. Their buffet dinner was ok and not exactly memorable. With so many other hotel buffets to choose from, I would not return for theirs. But I am really just being very picky here. All in all, Parkroyal@ Pickering is a great choice for a stay in the city.

Yelp
You have never stayed anywhere quite like this. It is easily one of the best hotels in Singapore. It features truly unique design that makes you feel like you are living in the future. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The location is about as central as you can get for business in Singapore & the staff are eager to please.

Yelp
Stand out hotel in Singapore. Beautiful large rooms and oddly appealing jungle ambiance :) Recommend getting a club room - the club space is really beautiful, and a comfortable place to hang out, get a drink or do some work. Their breakfast buffet is also fantastic, with a great range of eastern and western dishes.

Yelp
I couldn't be more happy with my stay here! I was travelling to Singapore for business and happen to stay at the Parkroyal. The staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time I was here! I loved the club room on the top floor and the gym/pool area on the 5th floor was unbelievable. I ate at the "Mint" restaurant on the ground level, doing their buffet style dinner, and was thoroughly impressed. I had free, fast, and reliable WiFi, however I'm not sure if this is just because of the room I was staying in (14th floor). Staying at the Parkroyal for my first time in Singapore has made my trip!
