PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort

The hotel is very nicely located overlooking the ocean and a few minutes walk away from many shops, restaurants and drinking facilities. It offers two swimming pools one for families and the other (infinity pool) for adults only. You can also sit on the beach under the provided umbrellas. the hotel itself also has a few restaurants as well as an ocean view lounge. The food is great and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with a great variety of tastes. The room is spacious and has all the amenities you would expect from a hotel at that level. A decent size balcony is available for additional views. We also used the spa service for massages and were pleasantly treated.|At the time of booking "a deluxe ocean view room", I requested a high floor. I understand that such requests are met upon availability. We were allocated a room on level 6 (out of 12) at check-in, which we were happy about. However the room wasn't ready although it was well after 3pm!. The receptionist gave us a room on Level 2 instead as we would have had to wait a while for our room on level 6 to be cleaned! The room on level 2 overlooked the ocean alright, but also looked over the top of a building roof. That roof was filthy and spoilt the beautiful views. When I mentioned that to the receptionist, he said he would change our room the next day but kept telling us that the hotel was fully booked. We had a good time in Langkawi and at the parkroyal but it would have been a great stay if we had been allocated a good room for the price we paid!

Superb hotel. The room is large and clean. The spaces are very well decorated. We loved the adult-only infinity pool with its breathtaking view of the beach. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. And the snacks at the bar were also very good.

Perfect Family Getaway at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort We stayed for 3 nights as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) and had a fantastic experience! We booked the Deluxe Beach View Room, which was spacious, clean, and had a huge balcony with a fan—super handy for drying our swimwear. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of Indian, continental, and Asian dishes, along with soups, salads, fresh breads, and jams. Something for everyone! The staff were so warm and friendly—always smiling and very helpful throughout our stay. Our kids had the best time at the family pool and kids’ pool. We loved being able to relax in the pool while sipping drink's, all while keeping an eye on the kids. The kids’ activity area was another highlight, with painting, coloring, and a fun jungle-themed indoor play space. Some activities were free, and some are charged. The staff at the kids’ area were especially friendly and great with children, making the experience even more enjoyable for our little ones. We also visited the spa at the resort, and it was a wonderful experience. We booked a Princess Manicure and Pedicure for our daughter, and she absolutely loved it. The staff made her feel so special, and it was a lovely memory for both of us. Overall, we highly recommend PARKROYAL Langkawi for families. It’s relaxing, fun, and full of thoughtful touches that make your stay special. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Our check in was professional and friendly. We arrived early and our room was ready. Our room was amazing on 9th floor overlooking the ocean. It was one of the biggest rooms we have ever stayed in. It was kept so beautifully and very clean. The breakfast is amazing with so many choices. We went to the beach bbq dinner which was lovely too. We swam in the infinite pool for adults only. It was tranquil and had amazing views of the sea. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. This is a definite must stay if you come to Langkawi.

The resort was absolutely wonderful. Perfectly located with an amazing beach and pool facilities. Loved the water feature throughout the hotel foyer. The breakfast spread was extensive and the staff in the breakfast room as well as the cleaning staff, especially Saleem, and Meer, who assisted with the baggage, particularly stood out. We had a wonderful stay here. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Langkawi.

Great Stay with Beautiful Views and Top-Notch Service with a Personal Touch!! Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. Highlight was the amazing sea view. Both swimming pools were amazing. The infinity pool had the best ocean view, especially during sunset. The lower pool was perfect for relaxing and enjoying with kids. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast had a good mix of local and international food. The restaurant staff were genuinely kind and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. I especially loved the calm atmosphere, and the quiet beach just steps away. It felt like a real escape from the busy world. Everything about this resort impressed us. Can’t wait to come back.

I booked 4 night at Park Royal Langkawi recently in June 2025. Unfortunately due to some overbooked issue from Park Royal Management, I have to stay my first 2 nights at Pelangi Resort and last 2 nights at Park Royal Langkawi. The first 2 nights stay at Pelangi is superb with club room and benefit given to me. This review is for my 2 nights at Park Royal Langkawi. Mr. Manimaran Karupiah, Front Office Manager contacted me well in advance for the special accommodation arrangement mentioned above. Kudo to him for arranging in a way that I have a great time at Pelangi Resort and a complimentary dinner for my family at Sizzle by the Shore. Upon check-in on the day itself, I am upgraded from the Premier Corner Ocean Room to Deluxe Ocean View Suite. The Room is very big and spacious. I am also given a set of very good welcome amenity which included a bottle of Wolf Bass red wine. Both the Main and Sky pool are very nice. The Resort is located right by the beach and we love to walk and swim whenever we have a chance. Buffet breakfast at Cassia is delicious with wide variety of different cuisines. I also enjoy the Buffet Dinner at the Beach for Sizzle by the Shore with excellent Live Music and free flow of liquor. A great stay overall!

Fantastic place to spend time! Hotel is relatively new (3 years old) so pretty much immaculate throughout. Modern rooms and facilities, including two gorgeous pools and loads for kids to do too. Has private access to the beach, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas on hand. Food and drink is always available, with a large choice at breakfast and dinner buffets. What must be mentioned is the dedication and friendliness of the staff, across the board. We were particularly lucky to have Bishnu looking after us, from housekeeping. His friendly greetings and concern for our comfort added something special that is rarely seen in many establishments these days. Thank you Bishnu! If you are coming to Langkawi, we would most definitely recommend the Park Royal as a lovely place to stay.
