Baltimore's Best Fried Chicken Restaurants

"Since 1978, this no-frills, family-owned stalwart has served highly seasoned, deep-fried birds from a perch inside Lexington Market, one of the nation’s oldest continually operating food markets. In 2022 it expanded to a storefront across the street, and locals still line up as early as 6 a.m. for sandwiches and crispy fried breasts, wings, and thighs. No part goes to waste—gizzards, livers, and even chicken necks get dredged in seasoned flour and fried extra crispy, yielding a thicker crust with a satisfying crunch—and after almost 50 years it remains one of Baltimore’s most beloved chicken shops." - Katie Riley

ROYALS vs....PARKS for the fried chicken I LOVED Parks Western Fries much better than the ones from Royals. The flavor on the chicken wings wasn't "mind-blowing" BUT it was seasoned & not "bland". BOTH places have smallER wings but PARKS does have a BIGGER wing than Royals. BOTH wings were CRISPY/CRUNCHY but Royals was crispier. If you want your wings made FRESH TO ORDER go to Royals. If you want something quick go grab some wings out the heat lamp from PARKS. I give Parks a solid 4/5. I give Royals a 3/5 for the disrespectful siE of their wings.

It's probably some of the best fried chicken I've had in a while. I've now been a few times, and the food is always consistently good. I live in DE and anytime we are in the area or close I make it a point to stop by Parks Fried Chicken. Quick and friendly service...Overall, a great place to get some fried chicken.

Google
I'm assuming this is the one of the chicken spots out of the old Lexington Market. I went in at high noon on a friday and it was only one person in line. The women that work here were very friendly. They had lots of chicken wings, chicken livers, chicken thighs and chicken breast ready to order. The prices weren't bad and the chicken was hot and good as well. Its definatley a spot I could and will go back to.

Google
Good fried chicken. They also sell side like candied yams. Fried chicken liver and gizzards are good too. Once you get your food you can season it how event you want. Street paid parking in front.

Google
Well I'm visiting this area and my family was actually getting food across the street from this place... I could smell the chicken as we turned the corner... I did go with my family... but I just couldn't get that good smelling chicken out my head.. needless to say ... I came over too check them out... first off I love the fact they're been in business since 1978... which tell you... they're doing something right... not only are they cooking chicken... but every part of the bird... including the necks, liver & gizzards... where they do that at... when I tell you the season is on point... baby get you some... homemade sides ... mac & cheese, candies yams, greens & corn bread... the costumer service is awesome... if you're ever in this area and love home style fried chicken cooked... pull up you won't be disappointed

Google
They have some of the best fried chicken in Bmore! There’s not much of an atmosphere cause it’s pick up only. But lemme tell you! If they stayed open longer and had a sit down area it would be a whole problem in a good way! That’s the kinda chicken you have after leaving a concert, a bad day from work or if you wanna be greedy and eat chicken for breakfast lol it’s gotta be fresh tho cause that with some mambo sauce and hot sauce oooh weeee! All I say is get there before 4 they close on time!

Google
Food was absolutely trash and a waste of $40. First the order was wrong then I requested 4pcs they provided only 3 pcs. Next I requested fresh western fries cause the one in the case were old. But I received was old fries with literally 3 fresh fries on top and and there was no flavor to anything. This has to be the worst chicken spot in Baltimore

Google
I got there and got 4 pigeon wings 9 and a 1/2 of fries….im all my days of getting a Baltimore chicken box it was rather dishonorable… never will I go back to Parks pigeon chicken.

Yelp
Came here to get some fried chicken. Parks Fried Chicken has been around since 1978 when it was located in the former Lexington Market before being renovated. It is now right across the street from it. The ambiance is what you would expect from a quick service meal establishment: fast and efficient. I ordered the 6 piece whole chicken wings with western fries. My order was ready in no time and the service from the ladies was spectacular! They also have "party" wings and sell chicken pieces separately (we used to get a chicken breast back in the day with gizzards...).They also sell meals with western fries, and also with western fries and a drink for an additional cost. They have a catering menu where you can purchase chicken in bulk and they also have other menu items such as subs and sandwiches. One note of caution: it is tricky finding parking on the street (paid) near them; you may have to park a few blocks and walk, or in one of the parking garages nearby and walk. My order was hot, fresh, not greasy, and the chicken had a decent amount of seasoning as not to overwhelm it. The western fries were good, but had not coating or additional seasoning on them. My order was very good. All in all, a great place to come and get fried chicken from a business that has been a part of Baltimore for a minute.

Yelp
The best fried chicken in Baltimore. The western fries and fried chicken is fresh and seasoned well. Limited street parking so you might have to drive around. It's directly across the street from Lexington Street market. Con- the neighborhood can be jarring for those not use to inner cities. Tons of guys on corners. Substance abusers mixed in with corporate employees and medical staff. Police are everywhere, so it's safe. Just go! It's well worth it.

Yelp
I tried this place on a four hour layover in Baltimore. I ordered a breast. Super tasty and moist. Fast and friendly service.

Josie A P.

Yelp
The first time I visited there was when it was in the old Lexington Market.. and it was ok then... Went to the new location behind the new Lexington market and ordered a drumstick and 2 jumbo wings... I emphasized JUMBO...I finally got my order and it was 3 pigeon wings and what I assumed what the drum from a wing ding for my drumstick... I asked for my money back and went straigh to Super Fried chicken... Stick to what you know...maybe I came at a bad time of day but I think I'm good...

Yelp
Chicken was fresh, in and out under five minutes, Wasnt really a fan of the Mac and cheese but overall is was good!

Yelp
Amazing and cheap fried chicken right across Lexington market. Came here for lunch and got my food super fast- in and out less than 5 minutes. For 5 bucks, you get like half a chicken and for 3 more dollars you get fries. The chicken is delicious. Fresh, crispy and juicy. I'm not a potato wedge person, but mixed with the mumbo sauce and seasoning, it hits good. No seating in here itself, but you can eat at Lexington market. Would recommend!

Yelp
Great food and service! Such a convenient spot and food is always fresh there! Will definitely go back there more!

Yelp
I've heard legendary stories about parks fried chicken but never had the opportunity to make it before they closed. The time I did have the chance, I was not dissapointed. It's genuinely some of the best fried chicken I've had. Intensely juicy, crispy, fall off the bone tender, and beautifully flavored, I could not find a single fault with the chicken. Service was fast, kind, and no fuss, churning out bargain deal fried chicken at a record pace. The ambiance is thus grab and go, leaving no room for meandering. I quite enjoyed that though, as the chicken is wrapped in aluminum foil and is piping hot, and I rushed home to enjoy it.
google avatar

Amanda I.

Yelp
The chicken was crispy and steaming hot just like you want it. Got the wings and wedges - squirts of mambo sauce and sides of hot sauce and you are eating a pretty decent meal. The $6 chicken is one for the making it's like 1/2 of the chicken and it's good. Must get if in the Lexington Market Area

Dominic I.

Yelp
The taste of the chicken and fries were amazing! The outside was sketchy af though. Worth the trip if you dodge the homeless begging for money.
google avatar

Yelp
Pristine fried chicken. Ladies at counter are sooooo nice. I love this spot. Consistent fried chicken. I really don't get anything else.
google avatar

Travis A.

Yelp
This has been my favorite fried chicken spot since i was a kid! For many years i would go here every saturday and they never disappointed. Although i do not go as often as i used to, when i do go, everything is still the same. If you want some good old fashioned baltimore fried chicken , gizzards and chicken necks, go to parks.
google avatar

Lennea B.

Yelp
I was so excited to be able to pull up park and get a taste of Lexington market without going all the way through. Located on Paca street ... there meters and street parking . Almost no line no wait for chicken . I got chicken gizzards livers and necks mixed and a traditional chicken box with h western fries. Nostalgia at its finest. It was clean inside and the service was friendly . A carry out no seating.

Yelp
Every once in a while my wife and I get the urge for fried chicken. Both of us have fond memories of childhood when fried chicken was a staple, on the home menu every week. Having tried some of the chains, we were often disappointed. After reading fantastic reviews about Parks Fried Chicken we finally decided to give it a try. Before I get to the food, let me paint a picture of the business. First, parking is a problem. It's almost impossible to find a parking space open on Paca anywhere close to their business site. I technically parked illegally but with a small car did not extend past the curb and the cross street. There is parking in a garage across from Lexington Market about a block of two further up, but I took my chance and had no problems. I walked about half a block down to Parks and the first thing I saw was a very long line of people stretching from their business out into the street. So I got in line and was surprised that the line moved very quickly. When I got to the counter to order I can see why the line moved quickly. They expect you to give your order quickly. Since it was my first visit I looked at the menu board behind the order taker and did my best to make a selection, ordering four thighs and two legs, and an order of fries. When you pay they give you a receipt that has a number on it, printed in bold. You take your receipt and go down the counter to where, when they call your number, they put it in boxes and a bag and away you go. But when your order shows up, they leave the boxes open so you can douse some available sauces (one mild and little sweet, the other very hot), then they close the boxes and pack it up for you to take. I liked the milder sauce. In retrospect I would have put more of it on the chicken. Now to my rating on the fried chicken. It's good, but not as good as most of the reviews say. The reason is the breading/crust. It's very thick and VERY crispy, to the point that biting it off with your teeth is a bit of a challenge. The chicken inside the crust is good, but the very thick crust was kind of a turn off for us. The other thing is with the size of the pieces we realized we'd over ordered. We could have halved our order and that would have been a good meal size. Given the inconvenience of going there and finding a place to park and the crowd waiting to order, it's unlikely we'll come back. Having said that, I don't want to take away from the rave reviews of other customers. It's good chicken. Just didn't hit our sweet spot.

Yelp
The chicken was ok. Crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. The thighs has too much skin and the seasoning was slightly underwhelming. I do like that they offer regular fries and potato wedges because most chicken places only offer potato wedges, and everybody does not like that. The service was quick, cashier was friendly and polite. Despite being busy, it was clean inside. The Mumbo sauce was really good. Hot sauce not hot enough.

Yelp
So apparently I was on a foodie crawl this day, so I say this place across the street from lexington market. MAN... the chicken was great, and the chicken gizzards was good as well. I asked the lady if they had any gravy, and she whipped some up. This is another great spot in the hood I would recommend.
google avatar

Kaleb A.

Yelp
I have to admit that this place serves really good fried chicken. I'm not a huge fan of fried foods. However, I do get cravings for it at times. The skin was crispy and seasoned well. The meat was juicy and not undercooked. The chicken here is much better than the chicken served at chain restaurants like Popeyes and KFC. As far as the area goes, anyone familiar with Lexington Market knows the deal.

Yelp
I was working in Baltimore for a month, right next to Lexington Market, so I had to get me some fried chicken. If you're looking for the quintessential experience from this market, I would say get the fried chicken from Parks. The African American folks who run this joint know what they're doing and give their customers exactly what they are looking for: delicious, golden, crispy, fried chicken. In fact, they sell every part of the chicken fried. I just went with some drumsticks since I wasn't feeling too adventurous that day to get some gizzards or liver or something. They serve your meal in some foil with some sliced bread and they'll ask if you want ketchup or hot sauce on the chicken (you should 100% get both). With many food options in this market, Parks Fried Chicken is a great idea if you're not going to Faidley's Seafood or something.

Irfanna S.

Yelp
Where to start. Order process is actually fitting for how busy it stays, across from Lex Market. The food portions are well worth costs. The food quality an taste is beyond Grandma's Sunday dinner or BBQ fried chicken, Greens, Mac n Cheese, or Sweet potato they are all tasty as Grannies to. Pick up area has the absolute best ladies Saleena will always make you feel welcomed with great customer service patience for suck a busy spot.... 10 stars food service an Best Mambo sauce I have found in 10 years in Maryland.

Marshea W.

Yelp
Food fresh and hot. Chicken isn't too salty it's perfectly seasoned. It's a chicken spot so don't expect stellar service.
google avatar

Marcus B.

Yelp
Solid chicken box spot. Not the best but still good. Get in and out real quick. Place dates back decades but it's the same recipe they have been using since the start. Try it out but don't expect to be wow'd just solid.
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
I brought five drumsticks and an order of chicken livers for my family to taste test. We were impressed with the taste and texture of the foods. Drumsticks were seasoned perfectly and not too greasy. The chicken livers were large and fried perfectly. The livers melted in our mouths. We regretted not getting a larger order of both items. I paid less than $14 total for both orders. Next time we visit Baltimore, we will definitely eat from Parks.

Yelp
Consider this the catch-all business page for Park's Fried Chicken inside Lexington Market since there are, I believe, 3 different vendors with the same name. Each one offers an assortment of fried food and the classic fixings--from mac and cheese to collard greens. Compared to the chicken shacks I'm familiar with, the fried chicken here actually has crispy skin and is seasoned well. The meat is cooked thoroughly, fresh from the fryer, and moist and juicy. My order came with a couple slices of white bread. I can only speak for the Park's Fried Chicken next to Muhly's Bakery (near the Eutaw St. entrance to the market), but the lady who put my order together was sweet and helpful. While I won't drive out of my way just to buy here, I think it's worth a visit whenever I'm hungry and walking around the market.

Yelp
Fried chicken is my favorite food of all time, so of course I tried some fried chicken from Park's while visiting Lexington Market. I ordered the fried chicken livers and some wings. The livers were fried perfectly, not overcooked and not bloody. I really enjoy the creamy texture and earthy flavor of fried chicken livers. The wings were very crispy and very juicy. Biting into them will have the juices dripping from your lips. Both items I ordered are a little underseasoned, so be sure to accept their offer to put salt and pepper on your food.

Diana B.

Yelp
I've been going to parks like forever found them yesterday in new spot. Ordered my usual and was not disappointed. I spent 2 hours on mobility bus just to get there. Still taste the same love it . Diana

Yelp
Now I am picky about my chicken. And I've had it from all over the Midwest, South and East Coast. Parks' Fried Chicken is 'da bomb! Oh ya! I bought one drumstick and tucked it away for later. When I finally sunk my teeth into it I'm pretty sure I said damn out loud. This really is GOOD fried chicken. Really really really good. The light, crispy, lightly seasoned breading and most meat were delightful. If I was a local I'd definitely stock up on this for picnics or Sunday dinners. I should have gotten more! And it's cheap! Just a note, if you're not from the area, make sure to research Lexington Market so you have a good idea of what you're getting into. This is downtown and not the safest or cleanest area. No one really bothered me, but I saw my share of cracked out people and felt uncomfortable a few times.
google avatar

Rebekah T.

Yelp
Walking through the Lexington Market, I passed by so many different booths before stopping at Super Fried Chicken. I was buying lunch for a picnic with my guy and he loves fried chicken. I was stopped when I saw a Chicken Breast and Potatoes special for $5. What a deal. The chicken looked great, a nice big one with a spicy hot sauce added to it. I added salt, pepper and old bay to the potatoes with a bit of ketchup. I brought the lunch to the Inner Harbor and my guy was really happy. A crabcake from Faidley's and fried chicken with potatoes!

Tammy L.

Yelp
THE best chicken on planet Earth! The recipe has been consistent for as long as I can remember. The location may have changed but the chicken remains the same, unbelievably GOOD!
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
Koreans selling Fried Chicken, that's old news... but Koreans making greens??? I've never heard of that... but man, they make really good greens and they use Chicken instead of hog feet! I didn't even tough my chicken until the greens were all gone! So darn good. The chicken was little greasy, but excellent, crispy and with the hot sauce made it even better. Next time I'm there, I'll have to try other sides, but I'm a sucker for greens!
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
My usual order: 3 piece wings, with mashed sweet potatoes and macaroni & cheese. Sometimes if I want to pretend to be healthy I'll swap out the mac & cheese for collard greens. Their fried chicken livers and chicken gizzards are great as well. The chicken is really nice and crispy with a good flavor. 2 slices of bread come on the side too if you order the combination platter. Prices are good since the side order portions are very generous. You can ask for hot sauce drizzled over the chicken or on the side. It is Lexington Market, so if you're willing to brave the atmosphere for some really yummy fried chicken, bring a friend and give Park's a try!

Yelp
Rating system: 5 stars - Must try. You're really missing out if you don't. I'm either a regular here, repeat patron, or would be if it wasn't cost or distance prohibitive 4 stars - Highly recommended, but may have minor things that keep me from being a regular or from giving a higher rating 3 stars - Good most of the time but not great. Will only eat here if I have a particular craving, or am unable to eat at my 4 or 5 star choices 2 stars - Do not really like it but will only eat here if I have to (eating group overruled my veto) 1 star - Avoid. Save your money, time, and stomach Went here with a group while visiting Baltimore for a conference. The Lexington Market is definitely an interesting place if you are from out of town. It is definitely a place that a lot of locals go to, with plenty of food options. Faidley's Seafood is definitely a must-try, but we wanted to check out some of the other places there as well. Park's Fried Chicken had a lot of customers, so we decided to give it a whirl. The chicken is relatively cheap and the pieces are quite large. I got the leg quarter with fries and it was pretty filling. The batter is not really seasoned, so definitely take them up on their offer to eat put salt/pepper, or seasoned salt on your chicken. I'd recommend getting the hot sauce as well....While the chicken wasn't nasty, I've definitely had a lot better. The chicken meat itself was very soft. And not in a good way. It basically falls apart like rotisserie chicken would, which is totally unexpected. This could have been a fluke. But it also didn't have much flavor in the meat itself in addition to the batter. You really do need the seasoned salt and hot sauce to make it taste good. While I wouldn't say avoid this place, there are definitely other food choices at Lexington Market. And if you are from the South like me, chances are, you've had a lot better fried chicken wherever you're from.
google avatar

Rob N.

Yelp
Park's has two stalls in the market - hit up the one "downhill" for extra entertainment from the ladies manning the counter. Be ready to order when they head your way, and gird your loins for a full on fried-food assault. If you're a fan of the cheaper chicken bits, livers and gizzards are dirt-cheap, and dosed with hot sauce and a side o' collard greens are good eatin', my man. Not into the squishy bits? Get chicken and a biscuit, some mac-n-cheese on the side, and grab a Coke from the deli stall. Just give into temptation and lapse into the carbo-crash coma later while you baste in greasy fried-chicken juice. It's cheap, cheap, cheap, filling, and a total slice o' life. And that's why Park's Chicken totally rocks.
google avatar

Erika F.

Yelp
The place to go in Lexington Market to get your fried chicken, fries, and my favorite first choice fried chicken livers. Can't beat the prices for the amount of food that you get. I eat these goodies with ketchup, hot sauce or both combined. The breast was kinda dry and did lack salt, but everyone can't indulge in salt due to health reasons. As well the food was good I do wish they woulda doused my livers with a tad more ketchup and hot sauce. All around though I was satisfied and had leftovers to bring home.

Yelp
Which parks chicken to eat at?!? Just in case you didn't know, there are 2 Park's chicken stands in the market... My intuition guided me to the one with the crowd on front of it... We got a small order of gizzards (which were not all that small by the way) and a pair of drumsticks. I found it amusing that they ask if you want hot sauce for your chicken and then put it on for you. I understand that we are in the ghetto but man do you think someone is really going to run off with your bottle of hot sauce? I suppose that it is plausible especially since it's in Lexington Market.. The drumsticks were nice and juicy. the skin had a nice fiery (thanks to the hot sauce) crunch to it. It was decent but nothing to wow over. It's a bit of an upgrade from supermarket and fast food chain chicken. The gizzards were a little cold but still had a nice crunchy batter and the mat was a little chewy. I don't think they brined the gizzards before they were fried. They were delicious nontheless... The price point/ food ratio was good. The gizzards were a great deal for just under $3 we got a small Styrofoam box loaded to the brim. For a small gizzard order and a few chicken pieces set us back about $10. Th food was good but not good enough to consider braving the market again.

Yelp
This is one of the better fried chicken and other fried misc chicken parts (except the fried chicken necks look kinda smallish here compared to the other stalls) in Lexington Market. SX always asks if we can eat at Lexington Market for lunch when he stops by my workplace. He just loves fried chicken just a wee bit too much. That, and the massive lemonades and sweet teas served up here. I liked the livers and gizzards here, nicely seasoned, freshly fried and tender/not too dry. The other joints in Lexington Market I find over fry the livers and gizzards, giving the livers a dry, chalky texture and the gizzards quite tough. The chicken wings and thighs were crisp and moist. Make sure when you order, you promptly say if you want anything on it (ie: salt and pepper, hot sauce, ketchup, etc), otherwise they will get a bit grumpy at you.
google avatar

Yelp
Beep, beep, beep, beeeeeeeeee flatlines the heart monitor if you injest the entire chicken box. Two ladies aggressively hawk the deep fried fare to Lexington Market patrons. They'll point and holla at prospects innocently walking by, and you best have your order ready if you succumb to the lady whose finger is stabbing you out of the crowd. The dude next to me mumbled that he'll be back because he didn't have enough money as he slinked away. Signs everywhere declare "cash only", and Park's management needed to get involved to bankroll making change for a twenty. Pretend you are making a healthy choice with the enormous juicy breast and a diet coke. Run with the locals and get hot sauce on everything The five year old loudly judged his first western fry with an "umm"! Take that bomb upstairs with a ton of napkins for the full effect of watching guys dance or stagger to the blues band playing downstairs. Suck it up on the treadmill. You are eating fried chicken once a year, so it may as well be awesome. Faidleys, Pollock Johnny's, and the carved turkey stand are compelling market alternatives, but when in Rome..

Yelp
Did you know? Parks has fried chicken wings. 6 wings for 3 dollars. Seeing a bunch of other koreans selling other groceries, I really thought Park's was a korean owned place. However, its NOT. Southern, soul, all the wayyyyyy. I would definitely say one of the best fried chicken places I've ever eaten. The skin was crisp, well seasoned, and the meat was so juicy. I have to say though that the wings were somewhat small. Other that that, Parks is a great place to stop for lunch!
google avatar

Valerie L.

Yelp
My husband and I came to lexington market on my birthday, we always just go straight to the oyster but this time we stopped by here to try the fried chicken. The fried chicken was okay but the fried liver and gizzards were so good! and even the order small was a lot, so we brought home almost half of our order and had it as late night snack, yummy!
google avatar

A. C.

Yelp
One of the best in the market, go to the Park's in the back of the market. Chicken is always piping hot and they pile it up in the box. I love the fried livers, well-seasoned (a touch salty). Make sure you have cash and just the right change or you'll get a scolding.
google avatar

Christian C.

Yelp
Of all the various fried chicken stands in Lexington Market, this one seemed to have a decent crowd so I gave them a try. I got an order of 4 spicy chicken wings which came with a side of either fried rice or potato wedges. I opted for the rice, which was too dry and not very good, but then again I didn't expect rice to be this food stand's strong suit. The wings themselves were hot, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Not dry at all like a previous reviewer experienced. Maybe he caught them on a bad day. You have the option of getting sauce put on the wings (hot or BBQ). My wings were lacking in the spice department so if that's your thing I'd go for the hot sauce. For four bucks and change I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Yelp
I have the nerve and the audacity to go to this place as often as I can without writing a review about it. My family has been coming to this stand for years - and when I say years, I mean YEARS! I'd say, 25 at the least. The aroma draws me when I walk thru the door of the market. I go to the stand with the grace of a bull in a China shop heading to my favorite spot. When the salespeople yell out, "does somebody need help?" It takes all my strength to be courteous to the other patrons before screaming out, "yeah, Dear, me - over here!" Out pours my order for chicken thighs (mostly), except I ordered the party wings for the first time earlier this week. As usual, I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I was more satisfied than I thought that I would be. Additionally, they were BIG! I loved every morsel. I was ordering the livers-n-gizzards mix until I grew tired of getting the same thing all the time. They're still tasty, by the way. What it gets down to is, anything one orders from that Stand is a great bargain, if you ask me. The half-chicken (minus the drumstick) is king-sized, the leg quarters are huge, and the wings are nice-sized and not at all skimpy. If they weren't tasty, I wouldn't be writing this review. Going there with $5 will result in your leaving pretty satisfied. A $10 bill will leave you with lunch & dinner for the day, or lunch for 2 days - that is, if one eats like I do. If one is a big eater, you'll be satisfied no matter what - or should be, anyway. What more can I say about this place?! The portion sizes are good, the food is seasoned well, and the sides are also pleasing. I haven't met a product from them yet that is unsatisfactory. The chicken necks, however, aren't my favorites. That's only because I like cooking those at home - boiling them in broth and then making a savory gravy to go over some rice. For those who like fried chicken necks, one wouldn't be upset. For an excellent value and tasty food, I won't say "go" to Parks ... I say RUN! Run as fast as you can to get the best fried chicken in town! The booth is located on the Eutaw Street side of Lexington Market. A candy stand sits only a few steps away. Hopefully, one will feel as good as I do whenI leave that Stand, and even better after I eat my spoils:-)

Yelp
Tastes like your momma's southern fried chicken. I don't fry chicken so when I want a piece I go here. Also great for large crowds...use them often for church dinners and bus trips!

Yelp
I love them fried chickens. There are two stands labeled Park's fried chicken. I hope I ate the legit one. IT had a bunch of people standing in front of it. The other one had the workers staring into space. The fried chicken wings were like an upgraded KFC but the chicken was injected with ooze. These are normal looking chickens with normal sized wings.

Yelp
Came because of the reviews. Intrigued by the fried gizzards. Nervous from the surroundings. Disappointed by the taste. Would not come back.

Yelp
Maybe it's just me, but this chicken was average at best. I make better fried chicken at home. I pushed thru the horrendous lines at Lexington and ordered 3 wings. The wings were very hairy, which made eating them very tedious. The flavor for me was nothing special and I absolutely hate the breading they use. It's nowhere near as brown and crunchy as I'm used to. I tried it since it is a Baltimore staple, but in the future, I shall pass.

Yelp
I had two chicken drumsticks and collard greens, this morning for breakfast. The chicken was tasty. The collard greens as well, however, it contained pieces of chicken! Maybe leftover chicken from the night before? It would have been better left out.

Yelp
Chicken at Park's was great, and at a great price. Ready to go and very fresh immediately. The chicken was well cooked and crispy. Went to the stall in the lower part of the market and wasn't disappointed. Looking forward to another Lexington Market visit soon.

Yelp
I rather go to Park's Fried Chicken that is next to Constants. The chicken tasted old while Park's Fried Chicken is always busy so they are always fresh. Disappointed
