ParkView Safari Lodge

We had a really great stay at Parkview and can definitely recommend it. The accommodation was beautiful and very peaceful. We slept in a tent and were surrounded by animals, which was a very special experience. A big thank you to Pierre for the safari – it was really amazing. He is a great guide and we learned and saw a lot. Also thank you to Pierre and his wife, they were both very kind and welcoming. The only small thing is that there were no milk alternatives available, but it wasn’t a big problem for us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and are very thankful.

We absolutely loved our stay and were truly impressed from the very first moment. Initially, we had planned to stay for just one night before heading out on our safari, but we enjoyed the experience so much that we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for a second night. This was arranged quickly, warmly, and completely hassle-free, which we really appreciated.||||One of the most magical aspects of this place is being able to watch the animals while falling asleep and again in the early morning when waking up — an unforgettable experience. The tents are simply stunning, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, and the rooms are just as lovely. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared.||||The service truly stood out: incredibly friendly, attentive, and personal, creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. As it was my birthday during our stay, they even surprised me with a cake, which was such a thoughtful and touching gesture.||||We would return without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something truly special. This stay exceeded all our expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip.

Having travelled with work to SA, we were lucky enough to find this hidden Gem of a place in Addo. Lots of open space, animals roaming around, and staff who were not only eager to help but also available to assist with any issue or just questions! The place has a lovely congregational area with board games, a dart board, and a pool (too rainy for us when we arrived), but the open fire and just general feeling of an area where you can talk and mingle was just fantastic. The quality of the tents and rooms was also great, HUGE rooms ready for families or just friends sharing, and the tents were fan-tas-tic!

Very well located, about 1km from the park’s southern entrance. The tents are very comfortable and beautifully arranged. There are antelope, wildebeest, and springboks in the grounds. The food is good and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I hope to return with my family

The location right at the southern entrance to Addo Elephant National Park is ideal for starting your visit to the park. Antelopes, monkeys and other animals roam the grounds and can be seen right outside your window. The room (Deluxe Suite) was wonderfully spacious with a great view of the hotel grounds. Nicely furnished. Breakfast was rather simple compared to the other hotels we visited during our 14-day trip. The pizza in the evening tasted like a mediocre frozen pizza. Nevertheless, the accommodation is great and a good starting point for the safari. We ate out on the second evening.

We had an awesome stay at the lodge with the kudus and impala roaming around the tent. Great breakfast in the morning and with an astonishing view over the swimming pool,bush and mountains.It's really close to the addo south gate. We had an amazing time.

The claims on the website page are totally dishonest. The chalet ||is supposed to be luxurious, this is obviously not the case.||A luxury self catering chalet should have a washing machine and or dishwasher, ||well lit patio/braai area, good quality linen which should not have yellow||stains. It should also have at least two bathrooms not one that is no ||bigger that 2m sq. (i don't know how 6 people would manage)||I suspect a problem with the water supply to the chalet as ||the 3 members of our family who had the misfortune to stay there all suffered from ||gastroenteritis - you don't have to drink dirty water to be ill, to ||shower in it is enough. There was a horrible musty damp smell in the chalet. Also no dinner on Sundays as claimed on the website.||Definitely the low point of our holiday.
