We LOVED our visit! My girls had fun picking apples and going on the tractor ride! The wines are delicious! Beautiful place to relax and we enjoyed the live music. Food was good too, we had pizza and soft pretzel bites. Thank you!

Google
Dog friendly winery! Extremely nice staff that gives treats to dogs that visit. They have the absolutely cutest tasting trays for outside with a cardboard cut out of MN with 1 ounce pours of wine. They are right next to the food trucks so you can get food to pair with your wine. I enjoyed having a sampling of each. Thanks for being so dog friendly.

Pretty cute location. Blues live band was lovely. Great selection of wine. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have much for food/ snacks.

Google
Dog friendly winery. Has local Minnesota wine options and flights available too. Family friendly atmosphere with goats and bunnies for kids to see. Plenty of outdoor seating and some beautiful sculptures around the grounds. A couple food trucks were there too that has great food and snacks. Staff was very helpful in picking out tasting options send they give treats to each dog too. This is the same place as Deardorff Orchards.

With Covid19, this winery required a free reservation to visit. We had planned to pick apples at the orchard on the grounds, Deardorff, but sadly they had closed down the apple picking portion of their season. Nevertheless we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the winery full of live music & delicious wine. I highly recommend bringing your own lawn chairs, blanket or small table, as seating tends to fill up & it’s more comfortable than a picnic table in my opinion. My favorite part is that they allow outside food, so we packed a few snacks & cheese that paired nicely with the wine. There was also a pizza wood fire food truck on site, I believe the vendor rotates. Check their website to see who the musician will be, that’s how I chose when to attend. Beautiful drive out this winery. It’s quant, quiet and cozy. Can’t wait to return next fall.

Google
Very accommodating to groups, lovely property and great selection of both wines and non alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks. Live music on the weekends, tractor rides around the property plus there very cool with you venturing around. Recommend for groups large and small!

Google
Great dog friendly spot to appreciate wine and the great outdoors. The gorgeous white barn nestled in the cutest part of Waconia stood tall against a blue sky as I pulled in and literally my jaw dropped! I was overwhelmed with the sweet smell of cherry blossoms 🌸 and the whole scene was picturesque. I couldn’t help but smile as live music played, dogs were given treats from staff, kids roamed all over the yard, picnics were enjoyed and EVERYONE just looked to be in the best mood! What a great place! Will definitely be back soon!

Google
This is a winery with historical barns and a lot of character. They have a wedding and special event venue that is beautiful too. The owner and the people who helped us were very friendly and fun to visit with. Don't miss it when you are in the Wauconia, MN area.

Yelp
The wine and ambiance were great here! We came in just for one glass on our wine tour of Waconia, but it was well worth it! Plenty of space to sit and enjoy and we were greeted and helped very fast. The parking lot was located down a little hill so if you have people with you who have bad knees, I would suggest parking at the top of the hill (handicap spots). Overall would go back!

Yelp
I visited Parley Lake this afternoon with several friends and young kids. It was a perfect spot to hang out and sip wine outside while listening to live music (and a super good band at that!). They have a nice selection of snacks, including cheese, chocolates, popcorn, and pretzels to accompany their wine selections. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces have ample seating, but you can also bring a blanket and chairs for the outside if it's a busy day. Lots of kiddos running around having fun! I noticed that they have a sculpture walk as well as an orchard. We loved the wine and ambiance so will definitely be back!

Yelp
The best part of the draw is the bucolic nature. Probably pretty representative of Minnesota, so a good place to bring an out of towner. The wine is decent, with decent variety. It's a bit of a drive from twin cities, so maybe stop at the arboretum on your way there, make a day of it.

Yelp
Very nice winery! Gorgeous views. Service was amazing. Road the tractor ride all around the grounds. Beautiful fall leaves. Food truck available. Wine was very good.

Yelp
Parley Lake Winery was the perfect place to spend this beautiful fall Saturday. The winery and staff had such a warm/welcoming vibe and the scenery was just beautiful. I ordered the white wine flight. The lake view white was my favorite and Apple and Vines was a close second. We brought picnic food and lawn chairs but ended up snagging an open table by the live music. Skipping Stones was playing while we were there which definitely enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend Parley Lake Winery and look forward to going back again.

Yelp
Had sons grooms dinner here. Beautiful setting, service and response/communication was perfect. Strongly recommend. Pictures on website does not do it justice. Used Paella Depot as the catering team; couldn't recommend enough. Used Ben Aaron for background music; very accommodating. I have 2 more sons and would not hesitate or change anything to have another Grooms dinner here.

Yelp
Amazing little winery not a far from the cities. Adorable farm and wine! If you like hallmark movies, this is a must. I tried a white (lake view) good !! And a red (I forgot the name but similar to a cab) both were amazing! Music was great! Def will be back!

Yelp
You can not go wrong with this stop. You drive a lithe windy country road to one of fav places, Not to busy we're able to walk in and find a place to sit. They had decent wine and some some great photo options. If you wanted to walk you were able to stroll the apple fields....it was the best day. Please take the drive out this fall

Yelp
A quaint little winery on a dirt road just off of Highway 5. It connects with Deardorff Orchards so when they are in season you have access to fresh apples as well. It was $10 for a sample flight of 5 wines which includes a glass to take home as well as a glass of a wine of your choice afterward. I tend to prefer reds to whites and this was no different. I particularly like the Marquette. The grounds are really nice with a view of trees that at the time were changing color which made for a nice strolling opportunity after getting our glasses filled. There are pieces of artwork set up along the path there that made only add to the experience. Its a nice little winery not too far from town and worth a stop.

Yelp
I visited Parley lake on July 8th with my family. I was there with some family and stayed for about 6 hours. While I was there I personally bought around $300 in wine and drinks for my family, and had interactions with 5 different staff members. There was one man who worked at an outside bar who was very kind and helpful, I didn't get his name I just remember he was bald and had tattoos on his arms. Other than that one man, the other 4 people I had interactions with ranged from slightly curt to incredibly rude. They gave me strange looks, talked down to me, and in one case refused to provide me ice buckets and glasses for the 10 bottles of wine I was attempting to buy. It could have been because I look like a young 20's man, even though after checking my ID they could clearly see that I'm 30. It could also be because I am a person of color and going to far out of the twin cities these types of situations are more likely to pop up for me. Either way its simply unacceptable to be treated this way at an establishment. They should not treat anyone like this but you would think spending over $300 would at least have them treat me a little better. The place is very beautiful and the wine is fine. However if you have young people or POC's in your group and your planning on attending I would recommend going somewhere else.

Yelp
We biked here from Greenwood. A great place and the wines were very good. We also had cheese and crackers which hit the spot. We'll definitely be back as the service was a great and the property was beautiful.

Yelp
Great day at Paley Lake Winery! Certainly worth the drive. #skippinstones on the stage.

Yelp
For covid they opened a barn room and are taking reservations and first come first serve in the tasting room. It's chilly if the weather is low because of limited heat! Port a potties outside. Beautiful building and yard!

Yelp
Ahhhh, we had such a lovely time at Parley Lakes!! The wine tasting was great and the apple orchard and vineyard was beautiful. I was impressed that each wine I tried met my expectations. Often I think small winery's wine are too sweet or too fruity, but each of the wines I tried were excellent. My husband, two kids and I will definitely come back!

Yelp
Relaxed, comfortable space with great wine. Highly recommend the Apples & Vines and the Lake View White.

Yelp
We had such a nice autumn afternoon at a very beautiful and comfortable location. Four of us were looking for a way to spend Sunday afternoon after giving a presentation on our non-profit about one hour from our homes. Yelp found several wineries. Since this was fairly close and had good reviews, we headed to Parley Lake Winery. They had nice live music, a banana bread truck, and a pizza oven truck, as well as their own offerings: wine flights, wine by the glass, bottles of wine, and cheese and cracker plates. Also "fresh" cheese curds. We didn't have the curds, but I would be willing to bet they squeaked! We had wine flights, two small blocks of cheese with water crackers, a bottle of red wine, a pizza (yum), and a tiny banana bread loaf. We all agreed it was a great find. We left very relaxed and will have great memories of this particular Sunday. Every employee we came in contact with was friendly and courteous, the indoor and outdoor areas were clean and welcoming, and their restrooms were super! I have a feeling we'll be making this one-hour each way trip in the future. Well worth a short road trip.

Yelp
Beautiful land, views. Tasty wine, the Gris is a lovely smooth white wine. Check website for events, they host live music on occasion. Great way to spend a nice fall evening.

Yelp
Met many nice people on site. This place is the secret of the Southwest metro. Did not sample one bad wine or meet anyone I wouldn't want to meet again. The facilities are worth putting on the "to do again" list.

Yelp
Overall, I enjoyed my time at Parley Lake Winery. It was very busy and cars were parked all down the street, but it was a beautiful autumn day, so I wasn't surprised. Upon arriving, the place was decorated perfectly for fall: hay hales, pumpkins, Halloween decorations, etc. Very kid and dog friendly, which I also appreciated. Soon after arriving, the three of us got a nice glass of wine. Would've sampled, but he had just sampled at Schram a few miles away. Upon walking through the orchard, most of the apples were already picked; however, we still enjoyed walking around and taking in the autumn views. There was also live music, which was a great tough! The biggest reason I'm giving Parley only four stars is because I wasn't impressed with their food offerings. They had a pizza food truck, and that was delicious; however, I was surprised they weren't selling warm apple cider, apple cider donuts, and other fall treats. You could buy whole pies and other items inside, but I would have liked to see more than just one food truck. Overall, I'd recommend this location--especially while autumn is still here in Minnesota!

Yelp
Loved it! Visited with 9 other women as part of a limo tour. Steve Zeller, the wine maker, met us on arrival and conducted the tasting himself. Very nice... Though we recommend some crackers. Definitely recommend the 7 tastes for $10... You can keep your tasting glass.

Tom S.

Yelp
Wonderful property....excellent wine...great staff. We have been there twice in the last several weeks for 1 really fun event ....Martin Zellar concert in the vines...and out daughter's wedding. The team went out of their way to make the events memorable in spite of the times. Go there......they honor social distance and masks...but are set up to have a memorable experience...be it a picnic or a wedding

Yelp
Good wines made from University of MN varieties. Especially liked the Lakeview White, a mostly La Crescent blend. Their Marquette is also solid if red is more your speed.

Rory R.

Yelp
Enjoyed the art festival we did there with a friend. Good wines, nice live music. Look forward to going back in the fall for apples.

Yelp
This is a fun little winery with an apple orchard to boot! The grounds are interesting - some whimsical and kooky things here and there. The tasting room is quite small so it could be a challenge if it was a busy time. Their website listed quite a few wines that we were interested in trying, but unfortunately when we arrived there were only a few available for the day. I'm not a red wine drinker and there were only six total wines available to taste - three white. I wasn't really impressed with any of them. I was hoping to be able to try the Frontenac, Brianna and LaCrescent, but none of those were up for tasting. Disappointing.

Yelp
Very busy place! Good wines. Not very friendly staff however. We went to 3wineries that day. This tasting was definitely the least fun of all of them! Wine tasting should be fun! Harry, you need to get a job in the company where you don't have contact with people! You were down right RUDE! You can inforce the rules with out being nasty! If I already have my ticket in my hand, you do not have to tell me you need my ticket and treat me like I am going to cheat you and get a tasting without paying! We did enjoy the wine however and bought 4 bottles. The grounds are lovely! Manager, have a talk with your staff!

P S.

Yelp
A hidden gem for sure. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good wine and atmosphere. And we had the treat of a warm fire and good band.

Yelp
Brought the kids and had a wonderful time. Great idea to have wine mixed in with the fall activities of the apple orchard. This will be an annual event and we may just be back before the end of the season!

Noelle P.

Yelp
We made a spur of the moment trip to Waconia and noticed this winery - so glad we stopped! The grounds were perfect for a summer day - sculptures to look at, picnic tables to sit and sip wine, and 3 friendly winery dogs! We had our dog with us too so it was awesome that this winery is dog friendly! We enjoyed the tasting and glass of wine that went along with it. The gentleman that poured for us was very knowledgeable and pleasant to chat with. It's an apple orchard as well so we hope to be back in the fall!

Elaine R.

Yelp
Wonderful visit! "High season" in the fall - was incredibly busy, but they did an excellent job making sure there was sufficient space to stay, drink wine, and relax. Really keeps things moving their system of purchasing a wristband for the tasting, and tokens for glasses. Lots of family things to do here as well (I don't have kids) - but love seeing all the animals!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Love this place. Love its wines. I like that they also have a variety of events to appeal a variety of folks. Planning on going back for a family outing with another family for the adjourning orchards.

John O.

Yelp
The atmosphere is in a country setting---quite! Wines are very good and lots of variety. Wine maker took the time to explain varietals to my group. Hoping they can add more food soon! Definitely recommend this winery!
