The 16 Best Ice Cream Spots In London - London - The Infatuation

"There are two Ice Cream Union locations but our favourite is the takeaway one in Bermondsey—it’s only open on Saturdays, but their Chelsea parlour opens daily. The cornflake and coffee flavour is the breakfast ice cream we want to start every day with. But they also do a delicious, creamy pistachio flavour too—nuts are roasted in-house, turned into a paste, and churned all on the same day. They’ve got great vegan options, like blood orange sorbet, and seasonal specials like an Aperol spritz sorbet." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager

King’s Road Restaurants in Chelsea, London | Eater London

"Ice Cream Union’s small but efficient Chelsea parlour—more of a hatch, really—is just off the Sloane Square end of the Kings Road. There are no bells or whistles: just a thoughtful, exciting selection of ice creams and sorbets, ranging from Breton caramel and banana split to cornflake, spiced Delica pumpkin and vegan chilli chocolate. There’s no seating, but plenty of space to eat while standing, with 0.5- and 1-litre tubs available for takeaway or delivery." - Emma Hughes

‘Chef’s Table’s Asma Khan Partners on London Food Sustainability Dinner | Eater London

"A new counter-only ice cream parlour attached to a leading fruit-and-vegetable supplier in Sloane Square, offering ice creams and sorbets made from that supplier’s produce; the small, takeaway-focused counter has no seating." - Eater

You can tell from the first bite they use great quality milk to make their ice cream, ultra rich and creamy. The staff was super nice and let me tried lots of the flavours, my favourite was the raspberry ripple and matcha. Not cheap but you get to choose two flavours and the portion was generous (I only chose one flavour this time). Bonus for using biodegradable spoons!

I used to walk past this place but never stopped to try the ice cream. It’s always busy, and the unusual flavours never really tempted me enough to go in. Recently, some friends convinced me to give it a try—and I have to say, it’s one of the best ice creams I’ve had in London. It’s definitely expensive, but worth trying at least once for the unique flavours they offer. I’d go back to try more, but with moderation—it’s not exactly affordable. In my view, ice cream should be a refreshing treat, not a luxury item, but considering it’s on Pavilion Road, I get it.

Bought a small cup of banana split ice cream: absolutely delicious! I'd already eaten a lot of my portion before taking the attached photo. Staff member was very helpful & pleasant, thank you: lady with Spanish accent & glasses. Recently returned for the same flavour but banana spilt not available so bought the raspberry ripple.

I highly recommend Ice Cream Union. Since they opened here, this has been our go-to ice cream spot. Honestly, I can’t recommend loads of flavours because we usually stick to our favourites or the rare seasonal ones. If I had to pick, I’d say the milk flavour—here they call it Latte—and sometimes Watermelon. Recently, Matcha and Latte are great choices too. They don’t advertise it, but they also have children’s sizes for the little ones. We’ve tried all the Italian A-brand and V-brand gelatos around Chelsea, but Union’s ice cream isn’t too sweet and has a nice organic feel. There’s a school nearby, so avoid going around 4 pm when the kids finish and it gets busy. Finally, I’d recommend having it in a cup rather than a cone, as cones can spoil the rich taste of the ice cream.

I had the mango sorbet, which was amazing. We also tried the pistachio one and it was really good as well. Definitely recommend!

Great ice cream, great atmosphere. I like the variety of ice cream and the excitement of seeing a different flavour everyday. It makes every experience a new one. I was getting sick of the same flavours from other places so it’s nice to find a place that changes its menu so regularly. Staff are really friendly and efficient getting people their orders. It does get really busy which is understandable considering the location however I don’t ever feel like I’m being rushed.. Its not any busier than other ice cream shops near where I live (oxford st/covent garden)

Favorite ice cream spot in Chelsea. Creamy, rich flavors. They’ve got loads of unique options and the staff are really friendly and happy to let you try samples. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. Great spot to grab a cone and wander down Pavilion Road.
