Excellent place for accommodation and relaxation — peaceful, very clean, with excellent service from all the staff from the moment you arrive. Everyone is respectful and attentive, making it perfect for resting. The room is comfortable, very clean, and well-stocked, with cable TV offering many channels. The pool is very clean and has plenty of chairs and umbrellas to enjoy a pleasant time. The beach area is very clean too, with a beautiful view — very relaxing, with chairs and hammocks to rest and unwind while watching the ocean and the constant passing of boats. Breakfast is included and enough to start the day. There are restaurants near the accommodation offering excellent food, good prices, and discounts. The place has a privileged location to visit Key West, state parks, and other nearby tourist attractions. I recommend it 100%.

I do not want to tell anybody about this place. It's too close to the beach. It's too close to great bars with live music. It's way too clean and comfortable. The staff treat you like royalty and/or family. The pool is heated just above your body temperature. The front desk has these great big towels to use at the pool. There are so many great things to review.

This is the third time I've stayed here. Always have a great experience! It's very chill and relaxing, the views are stupendous, and the staff super friendly. I will definitely be returning! If you want the keys feel without the busy tourist area this is great for it!

Parmer’s is an older property, but it is clean and well maintained with incredibly friendly staff! It is not a luxury property, but it doesn’t claim to be. It’s “old Keys,” but again, clean and maintained. There are so many options for fun and relaxation! We were never waiting for anyone or anything, even on the weekend when there were many guests. The continental breakfast was convenient and yummy, and the coffee there was great (better than making our own in our suite). The pool was warm, the waterfront was beautiful with very comfortable chairs and multiple hammocks. I would stay at Parmer’s over and over again!

Easy check in and very friendly. Rooms are really clean, some areas need some repairs, water damage on ceiling as an example. Beds are comfortable. New Furnishings are in some areas and some areas have some more basic older furniture but still do the job. Grounds are well manicured and nice places to sit and enjoy the water views. Continental breakfast included was good. We did stay across the street from the main resort area, wish that was made more clear. I would still recommend. I would consider this a very casual, relaxed resort.

Google
Great location and chilled Florida vibe at this older resort. They’re definitely investing in the property with nicely repainted buildings and grounds. Our kitchenette room was a bit tired and dated but clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Who needs to stay in a room when there is nearly a paradise outside? Of course, if you want luxury then pay twice as much elsewhere. But the views and ambiance will still be the same!

We stayed one night in the Sailfish (waterview king room). It was an amazing and peaceful stay!|Ivy at the front desk was very informative regarding sunset viewing and other questions we had. Our room smelled like bleach when we arrived (not necessarily a bad thing, but bad for my husband’s sensitive lungs). Ivy took care of the problem immediately. We enjoyed the amenities (front porch furniture overlooking the water, Adirondack chairs on the pier and the hammocks by the beach). The bedroom in the Sailfish is a little cramped because of the king size bed (which was hard) and the unit itself is a little dated, but overall we had a wonderful visit and enjoyed our stay. The best part was sitting outside at night for hours watching the moon and stars while enjoy the breeze and the sound of the waves. The entire property has beautiful landscaping and lighting at night. We would definitely stay there again!

Google
We really enjoyed our stay at Parmer's. The waterfront room was actually a small suite with sitting area/kitchenette, plus bedroom and two full baths. The room was clean and comfy, but a bit dated. The pool and beach were clean and the swimming wonderful. The grounds were well-maintained. The included breakfast was limited in choices but ample. Little Torch is an ideal lace to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Upper Keys and the craziness of Key West. I could easily see lazing away a few days at Parmer's. Only complaint: the room rate seemed a bit steep, but it was March in the Conch Republic.

Yelp
Pros- great outdoor space, right outside your door- little patios, 4 plex cabins, piers, faux grass with kid games. Nice to not be in a big hotel. Felt safe to let kids roam around. Not on main highway and close to key west. Kids said pool was really warm. Cons- booked room with 2 queens and pullout for 6 people. Got there around 7 and no pullout bed. Night staff rather laissez faire about the situation. After about 2 hrs they came up with 2 blow up beds. Lost power one day/evening. Apparently no back up generator. Rooms are low ceilings, peeling paint, old ac wall units, no noise insulation from upstairs neighbors. We love camping and frankly this was like staying at family camp. We liked that part. Breakfast was edible. please invest in some whole milk yogurt and granola. Fat free yogurt is nasty. The price was way too high for the quality. This is in no way a resort.

Mellissa E.

Yelp
When we called we were told that you had Queen bed and a pull out couch close to Queen size my mistake) on the bottom floor. ‍

Yelp
This could be a long review so bear with me as I relay the facts to keep it short. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. After taking into Covid 19 concerns, and looking for a US destination that won't imposed a travel restriction, I turned to Florida. The Keys, and more specifically "Little Torch Key" hidden in the middle. It was so cool I couldn't believe my eyes. In my research I turned up Parmer's resort. After a few conversations I was sold. You need to look at the website. It was my Honeymoon and I wanted privacy, and health safety. The grounds are continually maintained in immaculate condition. Our room had NO bugs, an amazing kitchen, comfy living room and 2 bedrooms (plus 2 sofa beds.). WoW ! ! ! It was to my amazement a stand alone cottage ON THE FREAKIN BEACH, with a wrap around porch and tons of AC. Our cottage is called the "Pelican." It was decorated super comfy with new interiors. They can arrange local tours, and there is snorkeling off your front deck about 30 feet. Super clean and every bed comfy. Oh no, wait ... there's tons more like a big continental breakfast included in the room. There is a marina if you have a boat or palapas in case you want to picnic by the water. Did I mention its the Atlantic to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the right a short hop in the water in front. And the people that work here are so nice. I had a long convo with Devon at the front desk. She was so informative about the history of this former fishing club/village. Everyone made me hate leaving. And compared to the rates in Key West, with this place, you hit the jackpot. So if you want a Covid safe, eye poppin', vacation nest, come here. Thank you Team Parmers. TY Devon and staff. The Muller family has a property to be proud of.

Yelp
I love this place. Very low key , unpretentious and on the water. It's a little worn, nothing new n shiny. This is not a fancy resort with all the frills. Not even a restaurant hete but that's fine.In fact it was an old fishing camp. Stayed in a very cute cabin on the water . This is a place to come unwind n decompress. Plenty of restaurants, tiki bars nearby and a simple continental breakfast. I do think housekeeping should be included since it's very expensive but thy are very nice n you can get what you need from the office. Sometimes your mind needs a place to rest n this fits the bill!

Yelp
Tired of driving so we decided to stay here for the night. Very clean resort with amazing views and super friendly staff. The rooms are a bit smaller than we are used to but the views and amazing staff more than make up for it. Also, rates are very reasonable so it all balances out. Wish we could have stayed more but we have exploring to do so onwards we go. Thank you for everything, hopefully we can come back and stay longer one day.

Brett H.

Yelp
We stayed here kind of last-minute as we were just plain tired of driving. What a wonderful surprise! Don't get me wrong; it's quaint and the rooms are not big, but our room was very clean and comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff. They do have that hated resort fee of around $30. I've always thought that added-on fee is a scam, but when you look at the price of the room, which was much lower than surrounding hotels, it didn't both me as much.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Special piece of paradise 25 miles from Key West. Quaint resort, very friendly staff, daily breakfast, free kayaks and paddle boards. Super easy if you're traveling with kids. I have to throw a shout out to Mark, one of the crew members at the resort, Mark you were awesome! Thanks for all the great info on the area and great chats!! We'll definitely be back!!

Kathy K.

Yelp
Perfect spot speaks all by itself for a true keys getaway. Worth every dime you spend. Owners and staff super easy to work with you for any need! Can't wait to go back for third time.

Gwen A.

Yelp
This place has lost its character. This was our second stay so we had a comparison. We were approached by a housekeeping person the day before we were supposed to leave and told that our reservation was up. The simple things that we expected to get like hot breakfast and fresh cookies no longer existed. We were there for 5 days and nobody even swept our room or provided fresh towels. We could have stayed at a Hilton hotel in Key West for the same price.

Cathy C.

Yelp
This is a wonderful place! The people running things are a true delight. Everything is clean and you can get a cookie all day I would highly recommend Parmer's Resort for your vacation.

Tee J.

Yelp
I'm a little hesitant to write this review because it's a hidden gem & we want to keep it to ourselves! However, it's time to spread the wealth, don't walk, run to this place. It is in a great location & it truely has the resort feel to it. With all the great amenities & the great room we had, very fresh & extremely clean, the best part, believe it or not, was the customer service. Everyone there was so nice but we had a special bond/experience with Annette, from the calling to the arrival to the good bye, she was there all the time & made sure we were having a good time which we did, she's awesome!! Short stay unfortunately but we're already planning our next trip for later on this year. Thank you Parmer's & a quick shout out to Ed.

C. A.

Yelp
We were not impressed, as we travel to the keys about 6 times per year, we know the keys. The cleanliness was not up to par, no daily cleaning of your room included ( you had to pay extra for that service ), the fridge temperature was 65 degrees on day 1, and took 3 days to cool down. The pool is only open until 8PM ( it's still light out) then they pad lock the gate. You have to go to the front desk every time you want/need clean towels, and the furniture looks as though it was someone else's hand me downs. For what you pay, absolutely not worth it. Then the management, Rude, Rude, very rude. The young girl Devin, who apparently runs the place, will run it into the ground with her attitude alone. Rent a house instead, then you have your own pool, your boat in front of your house, your own washer/dryer, and no snide, snotty, 20 something with a bad attitude.

Yelp
Hidden treasure! Such a great resort with a Beautiful view! Staff are super friendly and helpful! Only 5 minutes from Big Pine Key! We were not sure what to expect but it was an awesome resort! We will definitely come back! It is set up so that everyone can enjoy the water view! Chairs and tables to sit and enjoy!! Highly recommend!

D G.

Yelp
Furniture and rentals appeared salvaged from others who had thrown it away. Downstairs room was very loud any time upstairs folks so much as walked across the room. Resort hosts were aggressively rude

Rudy S.

Yelp
Great property. Very nice spot. The property is very well maintained, kept up. Different units are very different from one another, but the location and view, etc. are all beautiful. Bathrooms could use updating, toilets are the old fashioned small ones, sinks & showers are a bit tired, etc. But the beds are really comfortable, the breakfast is good, the pool is quite nice, and the staff is outstanding... very, very polite, helpful, friendly. We are return customers year after year for sure.

Neil M.

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed in my stay at this hotel. I got no sleep at all and left the hotel after one night. My room had no window and no ventilation. My head was about 20 inches from a cheap air conditioner that was as loud as a jet engine when it switched on and off throughout the night. It was a horrible night and I would NOT recommend or stay here again. Shame on me also for not doing my research on the location of the hotel and my room. I had a view of the road, and was across the street from the main hotel and the views of the canal. With so many beautiful hotels in the keys, I'm not sure why anyone would stay here.

V A.

Yelp
Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was fine, property was scenic and well-maintained. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and fresh-smelling, loved the big shower, and loved the balcony. We were able to take advantage of a fridge and the gas grill. Your room selection will matter when you stay at this location. Owed to the increasing cancellations because of COVID-19 (note this was written in March 2020) the manager surprised us with an upgraded king room with a balcony water view (Flamingo), which we very much appreciated. I am sure the improvement in the room helped match the price to the experience, otherwise I can understand past reviewers who mention that it is expensive for what you get, though everything is relative to Key West of course. It may also matter if you take more advantage of all they provide, like morning yoga classes, paddleboards, beach access, and if you make great use of the pool; if you're just in and out of your room, consider that in your calculation of value. I do wish there were more washers/dryers (coin fed at $1.75 per load/dry, detergent and fabric softener available at the front desk for $1 each). We greatly enjoyed our stay and remain very grateful for the upgrade, thank you!

Ashley K.

Yelp
Stayed here just one night and left happy. This isn't a fancy resort nor is it a motel...it's a happy in-between place to sleep for people who are easily satisfied by the simple things in life (read: high-maintenance white girls need not apply). When you drive in you'll see the office straight ahead and several little cottages scattered throughout. This place is right on the water and they have their own little "beach" with a couple huts, plenty of places to sit and relax, a couple hammocks, a deck, etc...felt like lakeside camping honestly. I'm pretty sure they were booked when we stayed here, but it could not have been more quiet. This was our most expensive hotel for the entire trip which was weird because we stayed at much nicer, fancier places. I can't honestly say it was worth what we paid, but it was reasonable. There is VERY little to do in this area. We ended up just heading down the road and getting drinks at Boondock's before dinner and then came back and knocked out. I would recommend this place if you are interested in relaxing or coming to fish and have your boat with you (they have slips) and if you aren't coming for sightseeing, going out or being around a lot of people and excitement. Summerland Key is one of the sleepy Keys, but I'm glad we experienced it. Prepare to have to drive to go to dinner, etc.

Claudine C.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Bare-bones, no-frills resort - not a lot of value for the prices (over $220/ night) charged. But, according to my husband, a native south Floridian, Parmer's is nice for the Keys, and the price in alignment with going rates. We stayed in the Sailfish Room overlooking the water next to a dock. While this is pleasant, and the views gorgeous, make sure you're aware that you might hear boats coming and going during the day. I suspect that there are certain designated hours for this, as folks didn't tend to rev up the motors until around 10am or so, thank goodness. We had a nice, clean room equipped with airconditioner and full kitchen. The Bathroom was small and plain, and only provided 2 sets of thin towels for the both of us - we could have asked for more at the front desk, but decided not to. Wireless is free, but didn't reach us out in Sailfish. The front desk personnel were very welcoming and pleasant. There is no daily cleaning service. There is a pool, heated to 85 degrees, which probably would have been nice in the coolish (mid-low 60s) weather we experienced in late December. Free continental breakfast is spare and plain: a selection of cereals (Cheerios and Special K), 2 or different kinds of cut fruit (pineapple, melon, orange slices), small Costco-style muffins, different breads for toast (white, whole wheat and English muffin) with different spreads. Coffee and juice is available. The coffee is pretty terrible. You will need a car if you wish to do things beyond hang out at the resort. The closest restaurant, just a few minutes down the road, called Parrotdise, is closed; the next closest is Boondocks - about 1.4 miles away. Parmer's gave us a 10% off coupon for Boondocks but we did not opt to try it out.

Sandra P.

Yelp
Dated rooms and tacky furniture, it makes me wonder when the last time they changed the bedding and towels since everything is circa 1993 looking. Overpriced for what you get. I was very underwhelmed with this motel.... not sexy.

Abi S.

Yelp
Good place to stop by before Key West Pros: Easy access from US -1 Not far from grocery store and restaurants Private access to the shore Private parking Decent breakfast Cons: Small rooms Very basic amenities High price for what you get (cheaper than Key West) No housekeeping You will save money by staying here while exploring Key West (30-40 min drive). If you can afford $50 more you might get a decent place in Key West itself

Emma F.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I chose to stay here for the first time on our week long vacation to the Keys. We chose it because of it's location and available accommodations. What a great spot, it's absolutely perfect for us. We are spoiled and stayed in the "Palms" condo and it's like a palace! Two floors, two giant screened in balconies, giant kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It's unreal. I've fully enjoyed hanging out on the balconies. The second floor is perfect for watching the sunrise. Love the layout of the property, every building seems to have a deck, or balcony. There's a boat ramp, private beach, pool, yard games, platform where a local yoga instructor comes to teach three times a week, I could go on. Not only are the grounds beautiful but the staff has been wonderful. One of the women who worked the continental breakfast each morning even remembered that I had asked for an orange that wasn't with the pineapple (allergies) and the next day asked if I wanted another orange to take. So kind! It's clear that the entire staff really takes pride in this resort. I would absolutely recommend Parmers to anyone who is looking for a quiet, mellow, affordable stay right on the water, away from the crowds and big cookie cutter resorts. We are already planning our next trip back.

Chrissy E.

Yelp
What a nice place! It is not a 5 star resort by any standards but it is clean, quiet, and affordable. I wish we had stayed here for all 3 nights of our honeymoon in the keys instead of going to a super expensive hotel. :( They have quiet hours at night which is so nice. It is so secluded but at the same time you can walk to the Kiki's right down the street. Excellent location. I left a bag full of expensive makeup in my room that was never located but the staff communicated so wonderfully with me about it. Even offered to ship it if found. Thanks Parmer's for a lovely stay!

Russell M.

Yelp
Very nice property. Good amenities there. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean, and decent size. I would stay here again.

Sharon G.

Yelp
Great place to stay, definitely has The Keys vibe! The staff was very helpful and considerate without being intrusive. Any issue was addressed promptly and courteously. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Dave I.

Yelp
What should be considered a hidden gem, this 'resort' should simply just be hidden. From the onset of booking I thought it was way overpriced but we and our traveling friends were determined to get this vacation in and other options were limited at best. It is a smaller mom and pop type place that has plenty of potential, however it does not live up to any of it. Boat dockage is inherently risky as there is plenty of coquina rock taking up space way too close for comfort. Dock access is very shallow, often resulting with props kicking up ground. It does not appear to have been dredged properly for many years. Rooms are very dated, furniture looks like 3x hand me down. All corners in the bathroom had someone else's dirt embedded. The shower curtain rail would not stay up, we rested it on the shower wall ledge. No daily cleaning (that is an extra fee on top of already too high rates). You must exchange bath towels daily by bringing the used towels to the desk for new towels. They served a continental type breakfast which was decent but it was the only place I've ever been to in Florida that didn't have iced tea. Note that not everyone drinks coffee. The pool closes at 8pm, no questions asked. By the time you get back from being out on the water, the pool is closed or about to close. 'Sugar' ants were abundant and everywhere throughout the room. In window room air conditioners were lacking at best. The refrigerator literally took three days to cool down to a temperature that finally kept food cold. Management said that was common and suggested we be patient with it. Speaking of management, I was under the impression this allegedly 3-4x generation family owned business had a great reputation and the staff was excellent. With that said, several employees couldn't have been any nicer. Some gave their best efforts however, the young lady family member / manager Devin may be successful at being the last generation to run this place. She was short in responses to our concerns, basically offering a take it or leave it type answer. Rude is her best characteristic. She lacks any negotiating or understanding skills. She has much to learn in people skills. This place (I find it difficult to refer to it as a 'resort') as I mentioned earlier in this review should be a great little place to return to. That however will not happen. It is very overpriced for what you receive as a guest. I've stayed in 4-5 star hotels with far better accommodations that were the same or lower priced than Palmers. I am fairly tolerant and easy going but this place falls far short of even the most minimal of expectations. Only once in all my years of traveling have I written a poor review for a prior booking at an unrelated hotel. That was warranted and so is this one.

TR W.

Yelp
A Great Place to stay and explore the wonders of the Florida Keys. I particularly liked the waterfront location, and not being "too" close to the highway. David, who manages the kayaks and paddle boards, was exceptionally gracious and knowledgable of the sights to explore via water. He provided maps and directions which opened waterways to me that I would have otherwise missed without his guidance. From first timers to experienced paddlers, I observed smiles all around. You can experience a slice of the Keys unspoiled at Palmers Resort.

David D.

Yelp
A watrfront motel on the bay side. The rooms were on the small side but clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable and linens and sheets were clean. Staff was attentive and friendly and the place has that "Island" feel. We will be back!

Mike F.

Yelp
On the water? - check Boat slip? - check Full kitchen? - check Super clean and chill place? - check Outdoor grill? - check Outside deck overlooking the water? - check Hot powerful shower with nice amenities in the bathroom? - check Sleepy? - maybe a bit much.. But who cares Restaurants nearby? - nope. Taxi required or car Will we return here again??? - Check and double check

Beatriz F.

Yelp
Spend a few days here and your bones will begin to melt with mellowness! Located more than halfway between Miami and Key West, this resort is a convenient homey hideaway for a family reunion or a romantic tryst. They have a nice variety of unique rooms, each with a tropical-themed name. I've stayed here many times and I've liked all but one of the rooms I've tried. I highly recommend the Swordfish for families (wonderful waterfront screened-in porch, beautiful sunrises) and the Snead for privacy and boatlovers (great shower!). The canalfront Hogfish also had a spacious screened-in porch with a full dining table and chaise-longues . The grounds are nicely landscaped and the pool is small but attractive. It's a great place to stay when you want to get away from the Key West madness--just half an hour's drive from KW.--and avoid traffic on the way home. It's a little pricey, as all places in the Keys are, but you still have time to take advantage of their off-season prices, until Dec 19th. Conveniently nearby: Bahia Honda State Park with its wonderful beach and spectacular bridge view of the sunset, the famous No Name pub, a pharmacy and grocery store.

Melisa A.

Yelp
Stayed at Parmers in late January and had an excellent stay! Staff was very helpful with meal and excursion suggestions. One they suggested was a fishing charter and the captain picked us up right from the dock at the resort. Grounds were clean and relaxing. We stayed in the Flamingo room which was very comfy with a great view of the water. We are eager to visit again soon!

Joe W.

Yelp
I stayed here with a client who was doing a modeling shoot for a local advertising agency. I had never even heard of the place, but it is a hidden gem. It's a great spot to stay at if you want to escape the BS down in Key West. I'd rather stay up here where it is quiet, than down in Key West!

Cindy D.

Yelp
Love it here. Close to Winn-Dixie and boondocks restaurant dolphin Marina across the street to put your boat in. We stayed in the snook two queen beds in the bedroom and a Bahama bed in the living room. Only one television though. Free continental breakfast every morning with lots of fresh fruit.

Rugged M.

Yelp
Great lodging for boaters who bring their vessels down on trailers. The trailer storage was very good and there are plenty of slips. The area around the slips is safe and useful. They have fish cleaning areas well lit and with dock water. There is also plenty of walking area around the boats and even nice hammocks, grills, picnic tables, some shaded, with views of the water. Was able to borrow a maid's cart when taking supplies from room to boat. This is very good family destination with pool, parking, and water views from all kinds of angles. The place is extremely clean and tidy. The owners are hands on.

Fred F.

Yelp
We Love this Resort.. My wife and I stayed last December and had a wonderful experience. We were on our 45th wedding anniversary trip. My wife loved the morning buffet where she pretty much cleaned it out every morning. The bathrooms were nice and big as my wife has a weight problem and would spend a lot of time in there releasing herself of all the bagels she ate in the morning. the towels were a bit small as my wife had to use 4 every time. will be back next year.

Thom H.

Yelp
Wife and I stayed at Parmer's for a week, in the Dolphin room. Clean room, and simple. Was worried about comments about decor, but actually the decor was lovely - (well-shot) photos of the property on the walls. Simple decor, but the whole place is simple, and that's the point - no flash, just laid-back. Room was an efficiency, and so had a stove, fridge, silverware, etc., all very clean. Bed was firm, which we like, but could have used extra pillows. Really comfortable rocker/glider in the room, too. Bathroom was clean, showerhead was a little low, but considering both my wife and I are at 6 feet, we're always running into that problem, ha! Daily continental breakfast was good, better than most. Free wifi is in the room and around it (outside), but on some nights was wonky. Expanding the wifi range would be SUCH a bonus to this place, but I don't know how expensive that would be. Pool was lovely, with a nice 6 foot "deep" end - many hotels now are getting rid of their "deep ends", probably for insurance reasons, I like that Parmer's still has theirs. The biggest draws? One - the cute, 50's / 60's beach-bungalow feel of the place. Don Draper would be right at home vacationing here. You just don't see this anymore, and considering we're a half-century since the aesthetic, I feel like this is a conscious move - keep going with it, love the vibe. But mostly? The waterfront! Man, the orange hammock between the trees right on the water? Divine! The sun rising over the water every morning, man I'll never forget it. Good dock space, too, for boaters. We didn't use it, but a lot of boaters did, so if you're on a boat looking for a room, motor on over to Parmer's!

P S.

Yelp
Cute place with some nice atmosphere for your visit to the keys. The rooms are made mostly of small individualized buildings so you can stay very cheaply, or have more of a suite. This would be a GREAT location for a large family holiday gathering, a destination wedding in the american Caribbean, even a business retreat. The room we stayed in was on the economy side since we were just crashing for a night after visiting Key West. Two twin beds, etc. But I'd definitely visit again for a longer stay in the Keys. It's a quiet location, very short way outside Key West itself. Lovely waterfront area with chairs and such to relax. Hammocks hanging in the trees, a pool, simple continental breakfast, laundry on site, etc. Only down side... it was a chilly night in the keys and there was no heat to be found in our room. On a nice warm stay, the AC would be great of course.

Lu Ann J.

Yelp
We recently went to do a day trip to the Dry Tortugas and didn't want to pay the inflated prices in Key West soooo.... We found a gem of a place on Little Torch Key. Parmer's Resort right on the water with a nice pool, continental breakfast, hammocks and picnic tables and the most gorgeous sunrise I've ever seen. We were greeted with a smile and a kickstand support (te parking lot is all gravel). Then we got a tour of the facilities and taken to our room. I hate to rate this place because I want to keep it a secret but it's too good not to share. Price was right as well!!! Clean with a laundry on site. The ride into Key West was 25 minutes and there are plenty of places close to go eat, like Boondocks and the No Name Pub!

Yelp
Friendly Great service A simple hotel that was clean This is a great place to stay if you are going to be out and active in the keys If you plan to sit around the hotel this is not your place A decent restaurant is down the street

Yelp
Right away, let me tell you I did not stay at this hotel so I cannot speak to its lodging. I can say that the manager there is horrendous. Jay will not listen to you so don't even think about asking for anything from them. I had a situation where I could not make it to the hotel and was forced to cancel within hours of booking. Not only was Jay unwilling to refund my money but he was rude and uninterested in my situation. For a cheap, rundown hotel, where people go for friendly service and a great atmosphere, this was certainly a disappointment. I would never stay here for that simple fact alone and would advise anyone reading this to stay at any of the numerous competitor's hotels that have a nicer staff and a better culture.

Yelp
We stayed here for 4 nights this past week. Overall had a great time! We were looking for a quaint, quiet, secluded place to stay somewhere between Marathon and Key West and this fit the bill nicely. We stayed in the Pampano and it was just the perfect size and very clean! We enjoyed the location right on the waterfront with a picnic table , chairs, and a charcoal grill out front (we grilled out every day). The pool was great as were the hammocks and docks. It was a bit on the expensive side, but then again what isn't in the Keys?? LOL. Our only real complaint? The Wi-Fi was very sporadic and this was frustrating at times. No matter how hard you try, you can't always leave work at home and having a strong Wi-Fi connection would have made life much easier. Did I mention the room was CLEAN!? PS...My wife can sometimes be a "high-maintenance white girl" and she really enjoyed the place! LOL

Yelp
We loved this place. It's a cute old fashioned resort that is still recovering from the devastating hurricane last fall. They have made remarkable strides and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our 2 bedroom unit was very clean, plenty of room and a fantastic view off the great porch. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer (definitely will next time!)

Yelp
We love this place. Tucked away on a side street it's a hidden gem, an d the staff is nice, waterfront lodging makes it a dream come true.

Yelp
This is a great place! Parmers is about 30 or so min to Key West and yet 2 min to the nearest grocery store, best of both worlds. We rented two adjoining rooms for a fishing and lobster trip. They had a nice place to store the boat and the open ocean is literately a 5 minute boat ride strait out to the reefs.. I would highly recommend this place for anyone doing a family trip or looking for a romantic get-a-way. Go to Parmers if you want a fun and relaxful vacation.

Yelp
Pretty good place, there's docks and places to fish everywhere. The breakfast isn't that good, when I stayed here they had mini donuts toast and cereal. The beds are pretty comfortable, there was a nice pool right next to my room. The view from my porch is amazing. There's tiki hits with tables and grills all over the place that anybody can use. There's also a laundry place where you can wash your clothing. If your on a budget i wooden recommend this place since it's pretty expensive money wise. Our room was about 300 dollars a night so if tiding have a stable job were you get good money don't come here. ~ Bryant
