This farmers market is on the smaller side, but there’s definitely an abundance of fresh produce available for purchase, along with some delicious-looking baked goods that are hard to resist. While everything looked high quality and beautifully presented, the prices were quite steep — we picked up a small jar of homemade Indian cashew dip for $17, which felt a quite pricey. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a quick walk-through experience and to support local vendors, but it might not be the most budget-friendly market around.

Had the pizza here — no frills, and very good! The pizza was simple, honest, and done right. No unnecessary extras — just great flavor, a crisp base, and quality ingredients. Sometimes, less really is more. Would definitely come back!

Parnell Farmers' Market is a hidden gem in Auckland 💙 The atmosphere is vibrant, and the selection of fresh, locally sourced produce is fantastic. From organic vegetables to artisan cheeses and freshly baked goods, there's always something delicious to discover. Also, they have a fantastic craft market with unique, handmade goods. The vendors are friendly and passionate about their products, making the experience even more enjoyable. It is the perfect spot to grab quality ingredients and support local businesses. Highly recommend visiting on a weekend! So glad that I did.

Parnell Farmers' Market – Where Broccoli Meets Boujee Vibes 🥦🧁☕ Every Saturday like clockwork, this lil’ market pops off behind the Parnell Community Centre, a chill spot where veggies, pies, and people-watching collide. Street parking? Free on weekends. Big W. Crowds? Yeah, they show up but you won’t get trampled unless you try stealing someone’s samosa. Stalls? Stacked. You got pizza, pies, Indian food, vegan bites, popcorn, coffee — enough to make your stomach say “bring it on.” 💸 Prices? Not dirt cheap, but not robbery either. Classic Auckland-level average. 🪑 Tables and chairs? Limited. You sit, you win. 🚻 Toilets? Maybe inside the hall if not, good luck and strong bladder vibes. Starts early, wraps by 12PM (don’t listen to that one guy who thinks it's open till 2). Overall: solid vibes, great morning stroll, and good food if you beat the brunch crowd. “Logan was here — with one hand on coffee, the other on a samosa.” ☕🥟

I usually enjoy shopping at Parnell Market and have always been satisfied with the fresh products. However, this time I was disappointed. I bought some Envy apples from an Asian lady’s booth in the middle section of the market, but when I got home and cut them open, they were not in good condition. I chose Envy apples because I expected them to be delicious, so it was quite upsetting. I hope this was just an isolated case, as I really appreciate the quality of the market overall.

1st time here and I am loving the vibe of it already. Everyone there is very lovely and the market vibe is lively ❤ $4 for a 720ml fresh bottle of milk? Thats well worth the price , make sure to buy jersey girl organic ones. I can't really drink milk but I have no problem with this, that says a lot about the freshness of it innit? There's also quite a variety of selections for bake and pastries goods there too. The owner of Philippe's Patisserie is a very cheerful and welcoming guy, bought a raspberry Danish from him and it was good😋

My favourite hangout every Saturday morning. Besides fresh spray free veggies and fruits, there are varieties from fresh coffee, pastries, pizza, popcorn and many other stalls, including homemade creative stuff. Locates just right behind Parnell library, using existing carpark for the setup. Very clean and organised. The stall owners are very friendly too.

Yelp
Three stars means I liked it, probably would have given it four on a normal day, but due to construction the market is currently in an alternate space and seemed a little cramped and awkward. Parking was an issue. Great variety of vendors. My first day in NZ (flew in overnight) and when I passed the donut vendor, she was taking pictures of her wares and I remarked, what a good idea, they're lovely and I took a picture too, and slavered over them a bit more, but thought about the calories and started to move on, and an old man called me out saying you shouldn't take a picture unless you're going to buy something. I wasn't sure how to respond, but the vendor was super nice and said no worries. So, the picture is attached here to make you salivate too! :-)

Yelp
Every Saturday, Parnell hosts their own Farmers Market just behind the Parnell library with fresh, organic fruit, veges, deli good, bakery things, fish etc from 8am till noon- rain or shine. Not very well known but well worth a stop in- winning The Auckland's Best Inner City Market for Foodies (Denizen, Nov 14). Very cool New York Times rave also!

Yelp
This market gets forgotten at times I think as the La Cigale markets are much larger and have a cafe and this market is in a carpark behind the Jubilee building. Don't let this put you off, it may be small but what is on offer is very good. The first time I came I needed picnic supplies, I have to say I got most of it from here. Pukeko bakery have a stall here, I love their bread and I bought a very nice ciabatta and some other artisan delights and moved on to the cheese man. I myself don't eat cheese, it was for someone else but to let you know, he has cheeses to sample and it all smelt rather good. Not knowing anything about cheese I just asked him to tell me what his favourite was and I bought that. There is fresh produce which was superior to that of which I have seen at other markets. There was a man there selling honey, someone else had conserves and dips, overall I thought the quality of what was on offer was really good. Like a boutique market. The dog cookie people were here too, the same ones who go to the Grey Lynn and French markets, my dog loves the blueberry cookies and licorice cookie twists from here. Check this one out, only on Saturdays though!

Yelp
I really like the Parnell Farmers market. It's pretty swanky and there are always stalls with good quality produce. And they have eftpos!! This is a big plus for me because I never carry cash around with me. The bread and pastry place is amazing, we go to the market in the morning and buy a nice bread for our lunch, it's always a winner. The only thing that would make this market better would be if there were more fresh vegetables for sale! I'd love to be able to buy a bit of smoked garlic or some veges straight off the farm here but it seems to be something they don't often have much of here.
