Paro - Modern India Bar

Paro Modern Indian Bar is a fantastic place! The view is beautiful, making the experience even better. The food was delicious, and every dish had amazing flavors. I tried the Pav Bhaji, and it was so unique and tasty! The mocktail was refreshing, and the paneer tikka was perfectly cooked with great spices. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a lovely atmosphere, and a stunning view, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time, the views are great, the DJ was really good, the food was delicious and the service was 10/10. The place has an incredible atmosphere. The heaters kept us warm on the rooftop too. The cocktails were some of the best I’ve had. Would recommend to others and will go back!

The location is lovely but as it in the centre it has parking issues. The entrance is too small and cramped. Lift can take max 3 people. Once u reach on the rooftop the ambience is lovely - staff is well trained. Menu options are fair. Food is good but not excellent. The Indian-conti options are a waste. Mixing gulab jamun and rasmali with drinks…. Is not a good idea. Basic drinks and cocktails are very nice. Overall its a good place to visit once or twice a year.

Located on a noisy intersection, Paro is likely a lovely calm oasis to watch the mania go by from the beautiful balcony, or you can hide away inside and listen to lovely local musicians. The cocktails were delicious and unusual, the setting is so beautiful. I wish I had more time to go again!

An honest opinion from a foreigner, this place is amazing. The service was impeccable; polite, fast and knowledgeable of the menu. They were able to recommend the Junglee Maans Khari Bites as an appetizer after asking a few questions about our tastes. We had the Rara Paneer and Laal Maans for our mains and all the food was flavorful and presented beautifully. Specifically the Laal maans, it came in a smoke filled cover infusing it's charcoal flavor to the meat. As to the cocktails, the bartender is truly a genius mixologist. His Royal Heritage is an absolute must have, saffron vodka, pineapple, and Rosewater blend seamlessly into the most decadent cocktail I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The Ras Malai is a unique and delicious dessert cocktail. And the truly unique Makhan Madiri fusing popcorn and caramel butter with whisky. And the mojitos and Pina colada are better here than they are in the Caribbean where they originated.

Amazing place with a heritage look. Spacious. Tastefully done up. And its cocktails and cuisines are a class apart. I’ve yet to have such fine cocktails in Jaipur. So I give a ten on ten to the bartender who’s doing a great job. Then comes the chef who has magic in his hands. The place is slightly steep but I guess you must pay for quality. Staff is swift and friendly and the place is elegantly quiet. My kind of place. 💯.

One of the most late open cafe/ restaurant/ bars in Jaipur. We wanted to try a new place with Jaipur feels so visited it. It’s a good vintage restaurant with an open air + an indoor sitting place. Food was below average, specially for me because we come from Lucknow and we ordered Seekh kabab (Kakori) and it didn’t really taste anything close to that. It tasted as if raw meat was a little cooked. Although, the staff was good, I wish they could educate you better on trying their best sold dishes for a tourist. I found it a bit expensive since we ordered a dish of kakori kabab that costed around inr 900. Also, the vibe was more like a pub vibe not something I’m fond of. So if you’re hungry at late around 11-12 and are in Jaipur this could serve okayish to you.

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Back I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The service was painfully slow, even though the bar wasn’t that busy. The bartender seemed uninterested and took forever to acknowledge us. When we finally got our drinks, they were overpriced and poorly made—my cocktail tasted watered down, and my friend’s beer was flat. The atmosphere was also off. The music was way too loud for a casual conversation, and the place felt unclean, with sticky tables and dirty glasses. To top it off, the staff was rude when we asked about a mistake on our bill. There are plenty of better bars in the area—definitely won’t be coming back.
