Parohe Island Retreat

Parohe was a beautiful setting for our group gathering at Labour weekend. Tucked away in our spacious cabins in a fantastic bush setting we were sheltered and enjoyed a great occasion for the variety of ages in our group. From fishing off the wharf to yoga, saunas bushwalks and great meals there was something for everyone. Glen and Vicki made our stay seamless and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

We went to Parohe for my 70th Birthday celebration with my family, 9 adults and 6 children. It was amazing and the managers Glyn and Vicky were fantastic and couldn't do enough to assist us in making it a memorable experience for all. Lots of activities were offered and despite the weather not being great the family thoroughly enjoyed the Island experience. The cabins were cosy and clean with beautiful views, the food was fresh, healthy and delicious. We'd definitely be keen to come stay their again..Highly recommend for a peaceful,tranquil setting.

My visit to Parohe Island Retreat for a pre-wedding party was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled amidst serene natural surroundings, this hidden gem offers an escape like no other. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of exclusivity. The accommodations were impeccable, blending seamlessly with the island's lush environment. Each villa offered breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and the verdant landscape, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Our days were filled with exciting activities curated by the thoughtful staff. We indulged in kayaking along the crystal-clear waters, tried our hand at fishing, and even ventured into hiking trails that led to stunning viewpoints. The highlight was the secret hospitality event orchestrated by the attentive managers, Vicky and Glyn. Their personal touch and dedication to ensuring our enjoyment made the experience truly unforgettable. The facilities were top-notch, with everything from comfortable lounging areas to well-maintained equipment for various water sports. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay, ensuring both comfort and adventure were seamlessly integrated. Overall, Parohe Island Retreat exceeded all expectations. It's an ideal destination for anyone seeking a blend of relaxation, adventure, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in a paradise like no other.

Simply the best! I am such a fan of Parohe Island Retreat…. So much so that I almost want to keep it a secret! Glyn and Vicki could not do more to make it memorable and accommodate my every need. They go above and beyond, not to mention being wonderful people. The property is a piece of paradise and so unique - perfect for a weekend escape to nature and away from the busyness of life. There is so much to do from an adventure perspective, and you can do as little or as much as you like. The accommodation was immaculate, providing privacy and quality, and the food….. it was outstanding. A plant based food diet was quite new to me, and I found it so nourishing and filling!! It was fresh, beautifully presented, and Vicki did such a superb job!! Between the food, accommodation, environment, activities (such as Pilates in the bush and walking trails), and company, this place is paradise and full of adventure. Thanks Vicki and Glyn for such a memorable stay!! I will be back.

I loved Parohe! Vicki and Glyn are very kind and welcoming; I will always be grateful for the weekend there! The food is delicious and made with love <3 The sky is fuuuuull of stars, you will see beautiful birds, walk in nature and practice yoga in beautiful spots. Very special! Thank you!

I was very lucky to stay at the retreat over Labour weekend. It was a wonderful relaxing experience. Accommodation was lovely, with gorgeous views, tranquil set among native bush. A big thankyou toVicki and Glyn they were excellent hosts. So helpful and friendly. All and all just wonderful.
