"I strolled through shady Parque Benito Juárez, which felt like the perfect antidote to extra-hot days in May and June and a pleasant urban respite." - Megan Spurrell
Feel the calm. Walk, run or sit, serenity is yours, as the park is what you make it. Curated walking paths, lush gardens, small dog park, a childrens playground, vendors, weekend artists, there is not more you could ask for time out of life or in it.

Parque Benito Juárez — a green oasis in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. With shady walking paths, decorative fountains, playgrounds, and quiet corners to read or chat, the park is perfect for slowing down. On weekends you’ll often find local musicians and artisans. A lovely spot to stroll, relax, or enjoy the local vibe.

A beautiful and clean park. They have an unofficial dog park area and art and food vendors on the weekends. In my opinion, the lady there makes the best Gorditas in all of San Miguel de Allende. Bring a book or your dog, grab some agua de coco and sit under a shady tree.

Peaceful, beautiful park in central San Miguel de Allende. It’s great for walking, relaxing, and people watching. Plenty of shade. There are local artists displaying their crafts. It’s a great place to just hang out.

This park is incredibly multidimensional!
Excellent and regularly frequented basketball courts.
Artists selling art during the day.
Markets available Saturday and Sunday.
We walked through one evening and there was a semi pro basketball game with referees and score keepers.
The park is dog friendly so please take note of this fact.
There’s also a Gazebo where they hold weddings and traditional events.

Beautiful park with good kids playground in San Miguel De Allende. Very nice equipment for kids. Neat toilet next to the playground and some small shops for snacks and drinks.

Don't sleep on this park. It's absolutely beautiful and has a tranquility not found in Centro. I bought an absolutely beautiful water color from a talented young artist there for a very reasonable cost. The beauty of this gorgeous park is something I won't forget any time soon.

Yelp
My husband and I visited the park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The park is great, with many pathways, trees providing ample shade, art and food vendors, and locals. Everyone there is very relaxed and feels like it's a world away from the busy "Centro". Do yourself a favor and buy a snack and a drink and enjoy the sights and sounds from a park bench.

Yelp
Decent spot to take the kids - we had fun for about an hour at the playground and walking around.
They charge for the bathroom, so that was inconvenient. The walk was near many shops and food stops.
Several families here during the week, recommend if in San Miguel.

Yelp
Great place to stroll, relax and on the weekend, enjoy the arts and crafts from local artists. There are some playgrounds, but the park still has a very calm and peaceful vibe. I love sitting here on the weekends and enjoying the lush foliage, looking at the artist works and people-watching
