How the Protests in Santiago, Chile, Are Impacting Travelers
"Providencia and anything east, including the Parque Bicentenario and the Chilean craft market Centro Artesanal Pueblito Los Dominicos, remained open."
It’s one of the best green spaces in Santiago. The park is clean, safe, and well maintained, with wide walking paths and lagoons where you can see swans and many birds I had never seen before. It’s perfect for a family walk, picnic, or just relaxing outdoors. Plenty of space for kids and good playgrounds make it even better.

A beautiful park with lots of greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s well-maintained, including the toilets, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax. It’s a great spot for a picnic or just to chill. There’s even a designated area for dogs to play, which is a nice touch.
However, the roads and the dog park are incredibly dusty. My dog ended up looking like a piece of mud after playing there! I feel like there could be a better solution than having so much dust on the paths—it really takes away from the experience.
Overall, it’s a lovely park, but the dusty roads…. Omg 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

It is a very large and well-maintained park. It is usually very busy on weekends. It is a perfect place to take a walk or to relax away from the noise of the city. There is a small lake in it And the lake has swans and fish that you can feed. A perfect place to relax.

Lush, beautifully landscaped grounds with wide paths, perfect for a leisurely stroll or an energetic jog. The playgrounds are clean and well-maintained, making it ideal for families, and the lakes with resident swans add a peaceful touch. Plenty of benches and open lawns invite you to relax or enjoy a picnic—truly a green oasis in the heart of Vitacura!
