Parque Central de Granada

Parque Central de Granada – Plaza Mayor de Granada is such a cute and lively center of town! There are always lots of activities going on, which makes it a great place to relax, people-watch, and soak in the local atmosphere. One of my favorite experiences was feeding the pigeons right out of my hands. I bought bird feed from a sweet older gentleman who sells it in the plaza, and it turned into such a fun and memorable moment. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in Granada!

The park is nice from afar. It is not kept I prefer quieter place. Although the Christmas decorations at night look nice.

Nice vibe with local street vendors selling food and nick nacks. Great bars and different types of outdoor restaurants all on a strip. The only down fall is a lot of kids and people coming to your table to sell you something. Great souvenir shops, a one stop shopping area. Prices very reasonable, friendly local residents.

This is a sort of a must-see spot if you are heading near granada. Lots of interesting architecture, horse carriage rides, vendors and restaurants and usually concerts over Street performers. There are a lot of pushy sales people of course as with everywhere and Central and South America. Some of them can get quite aggressive which is annoying but overall this is a good spot to stop pick up a little souvenir and have some lunch.

Currently under construction but definitely a Spanish colonial style center square.

During my stay in this neighborhood, ongoing maintenance was experienced from November 11th to 13th.

Many food and artisan vendors. The most delicious buñuelos I have had are here on Saturdays. The attached Calzada has more vendors and several restaurants. Take a moment to visit the local cathedral as well.

Lively place take a quick rest after strolling through the city. Maintenance of the benches would be appropriate, as many are in very poor condition. Unfortunately as a foreigner you get constantly harassed by sellers and other weird people. ++ there is public wifi.
