We have a motorhome and stopped a night here on our trip from the UK to the West Algarve. It was a great day sunny and warm for February. The site is well laid out and well maintained. It's a good walk to the centre of Évora but it's a lovely town. Coffee and a psateis de nata in the main square recommended. If you park on the west side of the campsite you get the evening sunset. Lovely. Toilets were immaculate. Staff great.

Liked: Nice, large, relatively-level pitches. Immaculate bathrooms. Lovely town to visit with really good restaurants. Charming staff. Well organised site.

Great site for the historic Evora. Showers perfect. Nice bar and pool. Quiet location, despite the closeness to the town. Friendly staff, English spoken. Large, level pitches, although you need rock pegs in the hard ground. No grass, but this is inland Portugal, so very parched so don't expect it. Not much shade.

Liked: Great facilities, attractive site. A short walk in to the historic city centre. Disliked: Gritty sand walked in to the van but this is common on most sites in the area.

We came for one night and stayed 4! The pool area with grass and tree shade was a more than welcome facility in July. Good sized pitches for vans and many with shade. The smaller sanitary block has brand new showers and toilets. It's a flat cycle ride alo bike tracks into the old part of the city. You know what to expect with Orbitur... but we loved how quiet it was considering it was mid summer!

Very basic site, although they have showers, one new block, and the other needed upgrading. Pool and surrounding areas looked tired. There is not much to offer food wise, only a couple of bottles of beers to choose from. Plots not great.

Great location within walking distance of beautiful historic town. The team are all great and offer a friendly and professional service. The facilities are excellent old but clean, and everything works. Lots of nice pitches - if you get the chance choose the ones at the back of the site away from the road. Lovely pool and adjacent bar.

Arrived to be greeted by a receptionist waving madly even though we hadn't even got out of the van she then said they didn't have any space as they had some big groups arriving so I explained we had a booking and had paid a deposit. She then shouted park there and walked off. We duly parked up and went to the reception. I tried again saying hello how are you to which she replied name. After several tuts she slammed a map on the counter, said find a pitch and turned her back. Very rude and unwelcoming! There are two positives about this site. 1. It is within walking distance of Evora. 2. The pool is big and clean. However, it is the only thing that is. The pitches are like rough ground and many of them have tree stumps in them, making it difficult to park. Several pitches look like shanty towns. The man in the caravan next to us slept in his car! The old shower block is disgustingly diety and the newer shower block is a best grubby. There is only one water, waste water and toilet emptying are so large queues form when people are leaving. Dogs from the local area bark all night and there is noise from the road. All in all with the rudeness of the staff and poor, dirty facilities I would not recommend staying here!
